I just laugh at Igbos when they say they are this and that because of petty, little and inconsequential success that is nothing in the grand scheme of things and in relation to what matters the most socio-economically.
Bro, check out the ten top architectural firms in Nigeria doing the biggest projects traversing our entire nation in the link below.
Shocking to some, but no surprise to me, 8-9 out of 10 Yorubas. Just click the name of the businesses underlined in blue to see owners and major partners.
I know this info, and a lot more about what Yorubas are achieving , because of my professional and business interests that incorporates big chunks of specialist marketing.
It makes me see how names stack up in the top niche business and innovation areas germane to growth of large enterprises and SME that are precursors to national greatness.
Between them they have all the most prestigious projects in Lagos and Abuja in their portfolio. We have the people and the intellect.
We just need the liberating and supportive political system that will allow us to define our space as suits us and as far as our capacity can take us without an unwieldy centrist system impeding our greatness. The rest no be matter for Nairaland.
Leave the amebo noisemakers. E go do dem like film the day any President restructures Nigeria or delivers a decentralized democracy. That is inevitable anyway and Yorubas are preparing.

Supreme court would have removed Akeredolu but he narrowly escaped. Nothing for that 'half-Yoruba half-Igbo' in Osun. Bla-bla-bla! Over 70% of people who call themselves Yorubas today have mixed blood. Only 30% are the true Yorubas. Your land has been infiltrated. Akeredolu, Aregbesola, Gani Adams etc and many more are adulterated Yorubas. In the next 50years the Yoruba tribe will be at the edge of extinction. |

You are mistaking "gra gra attitude" and "arrogance" for dominance. Need I remind you that the Yorubas won the civil war that laated several months for Nigeria with tact and strategy. If you go to war a million times, Yorubas will conquer you in all. Stop bragging about the achievement of your older generation. I get am before no be property! Any group clamouring for power to shift to the South but not Southeast, is at best being hypocritical. My message is that all Southerners should therefore bury the hatchet and join hands to ensure it goes to the Southeast. flokii: The Igbos also fought against special status for Lagos State at National assembly when our lawmakers pointed out the population of Lagos (smallest state by size) and the number of foreigners especially Igbos trooping into the state. I don't just know their problem, they are everywhere attacking Yorubas and Yoruba candidates online and offline, same way the lunatic Kanu ordered his IPOB urchins to destroy Yorubas and Yoruba properties in Lagos which they did. It took Malami, the AGF to nail him in court with that while Akeredolu, a supposed Yoruba that married Igbo kept mute, pretending not to see or hear Kanu's utterances towards the Yoruba race.
Things will change soon.. that one is certain. Nothing will change soon. You have been bragging about things changing for over 3 decades, yet it keeps getting worse. Other tribes especially igbos will keep dominating Yorubas because, Yorubas are naturally a weak and spineless people. Igbos naturally have a dominant gene, unlike Yorubas that have a recessive gene. Yoruba are born to serve others and not to dominate. Accept this bitter truth and live in peace |

If Nigeria still exist by 2023, in the name of fairness and justice, the next president must be southeast. But I know the northern powers will not allow that and they will use the bastards among us in the southwest to thwart it. In fact, I believe all southerners are being played. If a southerner emerge as APC candidate, expect the PDP to present a northern candidate, and that northern candidate will win the election. The north doesn't care which party win the election. You think fulanis will leave power just like that, after all the killings they did. They will need the power to protect themselves. True Omoluabi equals to docility and cowardice. Spits! |

This is the consequence of allowing migrants from failed states to populate lagos. All this migrants are the ones dragging lagos down. Most migrants from Osun, Oyo and Kwara are usually the ones that turn to Agberos and motor park touts. Migrants from south east have ruined the state with fake drugs, human trafficking and filth. While those from the core north are like destitutes, they come to lagos with just a nylon bag and will start sleeping under the bridge, while turning to petty thieves in the night. |
