It is looking like Victor Mboama is carrying Enyimba the same way he did Remo stars a few years ago. Another 2 goals in the Champions League. Too bad he won't be progressing any further
I think he should and will soon leave for Europe. Belgian league will be good for him.
He is still young (24) anyway.
Indeed there are good players in our local league

Samuel Chukwueze now has 7 goal involvments (2 goals and 5 assists this season).
This shows his goal involvements will be at least 10 (or more) for the first time in his career.
As from now on, his goal involvements should not be less than 15 a season.
He needs to raise his game to Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah levels.
He will be 22 this year and it is the time to really explode and play in a big club.
At most 2 years from now he has to be in a big club.
The caterpillar must turn into a butterfly
The egg must hatch into a chicken
Samuel Chukwueze must fulfill his potentials

Nwakali still on the bench for Huesca

Some people made a bold prediction that he will starting for Nigeria by now
huesca need nwakalis creativity in midfield. there is no use benching him because their first 11 is loosing everytime. in fact using him might help them.
they want to loan him to a srcond division team but they themselves might be relegated.
their coach is simply being foolish. his first 11 is sending him back to relegation and he is not thinking of changes.
We Africans should not allow Europeans judge a players ability for us.

Micheal OIise can not fit into the Super Eagles. We are talking about physical football in harsh weather condition on a poor pitch. He would struggle greatly. He's a light-weight & slower version of Joe Aribo. He's not special. He's just a good player.
1. Have you watched him play
2. Is he actually a play maker like de bryune or a box to box midfielder like Aribo

I will just like to know since i have not seen him play before

Actually, developing football is not about attending and doing well in competitions
but building sustainable and long lasting structures.
China might win the world cup one day to everybody's surprise.
We need to adopt an attitude of building a legacy that will last for generations
Our vision for football has to go beyond getting to the semi-final of the 2022 world cup.

for example President Xi Jinping, a football enthusiast, wants the country to have at least 20,000 football training centres and 70,000 pitches in place by 2020.
Also, France has a football academy that produces most of their stars.
it is called the Clairefontaine football academy and it is one of the best in the world.
This is why other countries will keep dominating football
Prior to the establishment of Clairefontaine, France didn't acquire much successes at international football, and even at big tournaments, France had never won any official trophies in comparison to its neighbors Italy and Germany. In the 1960s, Spain and England also acquired successes, forcing France to establish a football centre to catch up

This is why efforts like the Barcelona academy in Lagos
and the Real Madrid academy in Rivers state
and Generally, football academies in Nigeria need to be appreciated.
These initiatives are the best way to create a sustainable structure
and not our fire brigade and shallow approach to football development.
I will highlight what these initiatives are doing to the best of my ability

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY

oga the way una dey use past form and glory hype players baffles be atimes

When last did you watch Nwobodo play and what makes you think he deserves a place in the current super eagles set up?

The last time I heard he left hungary for a turkish top abi 2nd tier team where is is not even seeing regular playing time

If nwobo is good as hype why didn't any team from atleast the eirdevisie, Ligue 1, Russia or even the Swiss top tier snap him up frm hungary?

Na so una don hype Nwakali and no gree person hear word when he joined Huesca but currently bobo no dey even mk em team match day squad.

This hype and mentioning of players that won't even make any difference from what we have on ground already should stop abeg cus it's becoming very childish and sentimental
The Turkish league is at the same level as the Belgian league. It is a top 12 league.
He is playing in the first division there and he is playing regularly
We are saying he should be given a chance and let us see what he can do.
Incidentally, the turkish league is better than the Swiss league

VANDREZZAR FC WILL REVOLUTIONIZE NIGERIAN FOOTBALL

I believe Vandrezzar fc is a visionary club that will revolutionize club and national football in Nigeria.
They are run like an European club and they have a vision.
In the next 5 years they will be known globally.
Its rare for Africans to do things with a vision but Vandrezzar is different.
They are run like an European club with modern facilities and i am excited anytime i think about them.
Allready they are the most followed Nigerian club on social media and they are making huge strides
Their website is top notch with information about the players
THIS CLUB WILL CHANGE NIGERIAN FOOTBALL
I believe we should appreciate their efforts here.
They understand how to develop football and they are going about it with gusto

WHY TAIWO AWONIYI CAN NOW PLAY IN LIVERPOOL OR AT LEAST ENGLAND

According to the new British league, players playing in a top 5 league can easily move to England.
This makes it easy for Taiwo Awoniyi to get a work permit to play in the English league.

https://worldfootballindex.com/2020/12/work-permits-premier-league-post-brexit-english-clubs-efl-libertadores/

Quote from the site

"One example of the new rules working for a player where the old ones didn’t, is Liverpool’s Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
After five years of failing to get a work permit under the old requirements, Liverpool should now be able to get one for Awoniyi as is playing regularly on loan in the German Bundesliga with Union Berlin."

LET US CREATE AN AWARD FOR GRASSROOTS FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR.

Beleive it or not grassroots football is quite active in Nigeria. This should be for footballers who were discovered
by our football academies and in youth competitions.
My two nominees are
1. Netaka Dembele (discovered in a football competion in Jos and a product of the famous gbs academy)
2. Adewale Oladoye (part of our failed under 20. He is touted as the Nigeria Patrick Viera and he is a product of one of our
football academies)

There may be others i dont know
I believe this will encourage grassroots football in Nigeria and encourage youngsters born in Nigeria.
It will also make people realize that there is talent in Nigerian football that needs to be harnessed and encouraged
