Plateau united lost at home while Enyimba won away in CAF champion league
Our home based players need to do well in these continental competitions
in order to make it to the national team and even to Europe.
From caf competitions to chan, wafu and whatever.
This is beyond Rohr. Rohr will leave in 2 years time.
They just need to do well to stand any chance now and in the future

Rohr is not getting it right in his player invitation. It is not compulsory to invite Onuachu.

I remember Westerhoff and I can say he will never invite Onuachu....Mike Obiku was doing well for Feyenord but Westerhoff believed in Samson Siasia... Richard Owubokiri was the highest goal scorer in the whole Europe but Yekini was there doing the needful...Chris Ohenhen was damn good in La Liga but Amokachie was doing well.... Finidi George was home based doing it at the right side and Westerhoff wasn't interested in Tijani Babangida who was Europe based....Amuneke with Zamalek benching Ikpeba the prince of Monaco.

I know Rohr would have failed with US 94 Nigeria team based on his philosophy, playing in higher league determine your invitation but sometimes it doesn't work in national team football.

Honestly with Iheanacho do we need Onuachu as back up to Osimehn?NO... really surprised seeing Iheanacho dropped for Onuachu (Afcon 2019)

Better league or not Kayode and Simy are better strikers than Onuachu.
What i just want is a good and succesfull team. Rohr should just decide on his style and
stick to it.
A players effectiveness depends on the coach.
For example Maurinho and Guardiola will use different types of players because of their
different perspectives of football but they will still have good teams at the end of the day
Rohr should call players that fit into his tactics and football philosophy and produce a winning team.#
For example, Maurinho beleived in Drogba even though there were better strikers like shevchenko, crespo etc around.
Drogba fitted into his lone striker hard working striker style of play.
It is just about how your players vibe with you and fit into your style of play and get you results

Oga Icon4s. I do understand your point but I do think Kayode and Olayinka style of play is more suited to African opposition than players like Ejuke, Onachu etc. They are both tall and fast. Rohr is just a pensioner not a coach at all. I would not blame Pinnick at all cos he never wanted to renew Rohr's contract however it was people like me that put so much pressure on him to offer Rohr a new contract. Now we are regretting it.
Rohr may not prefer them because they play in so called inferior leagues.
He does not know when and where to use his players or understand how their style
of play fits in to the opposition.
This is why they are trying to get Salisu Yusuf back as his assistant
The argument of playing in a better league is too simplistic.
I have often thought that Olayinka is underrated.
Well, with his new assistants, Rohr may change

They want to beef up backroom staff? The last time they were supposed to employ a good assistant to complement Rohr,na Yobo dem dash the spot. Nonsense and NFF
The inclusion of match readers is good.
However according to scorenigeria thet want him to start giving home based players a chance.
They are forcing him to comply with them.
Actually they want to give him assistants who will make him to do their will.
For example someone in nff wants him to use junior Ajayi and some hime based players and they want him to reduce the love for foreign borns
They will make him to do their will without sacking him.
That is clever

Emmanuel Dennis in the beat
I actually think Peter Olayinka of Slavia Prague is a better player.
Emmanuel dennis is inconsistent, his decision making is not good and he dribbles to the gallery and he can play badly in 5 games and then be fantastic in 2. In addition he has disciplinary issues and his stats are not immpressivr.

Peter Olayinka's decision making and stats are better and he is a hardworker. Rohr should drop him for olayinka. Dennis is overrated

Lol

See I have nothing against Maduka Okoye

But handing him the number 1 GK without allowing others to fight doesn’t make sense
You are right. It was a political decision. I mean i doubt he is better than francis Uzoho and Mathew Yakubu.
Rohr just likes him thats all. It is partiality

KALU should invest in Vandrezzar
Also there is the national private investors league which will kick off soon
There is also the nigerian university leagues.
These are worthy alternatives

Ambitious.

The only true club in Nigeria.
This club will revolutionize Nigerian football.
They have made Eguavon head of their academy.
Things like this will make our football grow not the over reliance on foreign born players.
There are many messi and higuans in nigeria waiting to be discovered

Exactly. Dude na baller. I see him as the real Jay Jay reincarnate.
Obinna nwobodo of Goztepe in Turkey is better than or at the same level as him. He used to play for Enugu Rangers.
Its time we appreciated what we have.
Why not invite him for a friendly and let him prove his worth. At least we dint have to beg obinna and wait for years to get him to play for us
