chrisooblog: when Amaju first got elected as NFF president he spoke about ensuring our referees get trained when in hindsight the focus should have been on coaches. Coaching like you rightly noted is the bedrock of any successful national team but what's even our playing philosophy? have we researched our physic, environment, resources etc to give us a cutting edge and make us competitive at the international stage? why is that we suddenly stopped producing technical number 10s? is it because of the league that goes for directness and physicality that such has been coached out of our budding players? These are the kind of stuff our NFF leadership and technical committee need to be having a honest conversation about.
It's not enough to hire some random oyibo to come and coach our national team when the said oyibo doesn't match our playing philosophy but do we even know what is our philosophy? Once we get the answer to that important question then we will know how to train our coaches from junior to senior level along that path. even when we hire oyibo as a stop gap measure we will use philosophy as a basis for employing you and not just the person's CV. Our style of play is similar to dutch and brazilian. Westerhoof (who is dutch) understood us well. We already have a foundation laid by otto gloria the coach of the 1980 nations cup team who was brazilian. This is why we like dribblers. |

maidaboi: The reality is that Kelechi is an extreme confidence player and inconsistent. It is not just his goal-scoring, but his touch and effort. When he is confident, the touches are silky, he picks passes like a #10, and closes down/fights to hold up the ball really well. The problem is that, when he is off-form, it is not only that he misses some chances, but his touch gets bouncy, he becomes static, and doesn't work for the team. Maybe he just needs to go to a club where he more valued as a starter and just gets to play through troubles. At Leicester, the second his confidence leaves him, the boy is dropped to the bench and the cycle repeats.
Copied Iheanacho should go to a club like weeder Bremen and people will see he can be better than Vardy. In fact his style of play is different from Vardy anyway. But the young man only cares about money and not any record. I'm tired. Leicester should force him to leave. He can try leeds under bielsa who likes technical football but a typical Nigerian footballer only cares about money. If he does not leave this summer he will remain mediocre all his career as I believe he lacks ambition |

TheGoodJoe: I hope you guys can see the immediate impact a tactically offensive coach can have to a side.
In few weeks, Tuchel has transformed Chelsea to Chelsealona.
Rohr needs fifteen years. This is why the English league is improving. They can buy the best coaches and brains in football Now their players can learn a variety of tactics and learn different views of football |

elunico: Damn it! This guy is unbelievable. Starting to look like he was made for Galatasaray and Galatasaray for him.
He never felt at home in France. This may be why he was sceptical about moving there in the first place, but Everton had to force him. If he continues like this 2 years from now teams in the top 5 league will be after him. He has to move to greater heights. He cannot remain a local champion I mean he has to aim for something better A move to a top 5 league is inevitable for him. Even if it is an average team like kiln, l'orient or west ham |

ChrisKels: Sadiq trumps Tammy in so many ways, such, as; dribbles, hold up play, spatial prowess and play making. Sadiq's close control trumps those of many elite strikers in the top five leagues, here Tammy doesn't come close, not even an inch. Pair Sadiq with Werner, just the way he is most times paired with Tammy, and see Werner tearing nets - such is his(Sadiq's) quality and influence as a number 9 Sadiq had 17 assists last season. Not many midfielders have that number of assists talk less of strikes. The thing is he needs to do it in a top league. Forget the league. Tactically and technically Sadiq is very good. He has a lot of qualities |

Sadiq Umar is kanu Nwankwo plus goals. He combines the creativity of Kanu with the goals of Yekini. That is why i like his style of play. He can play target man, he is mobile, skillfull, strong etc. He is multifacated. His style of play fits Spanish football because la liga likes players that are skillful and technical TheSuperNerd: First is the Chest Control.
Next is the touch to bring it down.
Followed by the Footwork, Skill and turn to escape his markers thus resisting the press.
Next up was his Vision... Spotting the run of Jose Corpas, his teammate.
And Viola! He unleashed a pass of absolute brilliance. A pass the likes of Mikel Obi, Okocha and Iwobi would be proud of.
What's there not to like about this act? What's there not to be astounded at? Your exclamations are just apt!
Sadiq Umar is yet another #9 that Nigeria is gonna enjoy with time. The talent pool expansion continues...
P.S: My dear Top man, TheGoodJoe.... The league of Extraordinary Hitmen is still alive. |

12large1: Seriously, why is it so difficult for our wingers to perfectly cross? In the past, wingers number 1 requirements was Impeccable crossing ability but nowadays it seem impossible. I honestly believe that if we cannot find good crossers at SE then having paul onuachu might just be a waste. There are good crossers of the ball in the Nigerian league. We look down on the npfl and forget that kanu used to play for iwuanyawu nationals and Taribo west for Julius Berger. |

If umar continues scoring he will be sold for 15 million at least
Almeria will be happy to make another profit after selling darwin nunez to benfica for 24 million last year They may keep him if they are promoted to la liga. They have a rich Arab sponsor and are ambitious themselves |

andrewbaba44: Wilfred ndidi got 7 epl goals as a DM just 2 behind iheanacho in a Leicester city shirt
Despite nacho not having game time but it still doesn’t make sense for a DM to be 2 goals behind him Iheanacho has no ambition. He is only interested in money. He has the potential to be world class but unfortunately, he will end up a mediocre. He should go to a lower club and/or lesser league and rebuild his reputation. |
