I guess they are not aware a lot of Ghanaians sell doughnuts here in Nigeria. Laws are good but should always have universal application.
Family › Re: Is It Right For A Wife To Keep Properties In Her Name? by PHIPEX(m):
That one is no more a wife but a competitor. This whole thing stems from lack of trust in a family. Does it mean because my wife's name is not in my car particulars she can not go to court to claim it in my absence? Are we saying this applies to the chairs, TVs Fridge or is it only for landed property?

This kind of advice create artificial problems in homes in the name of civilisation. If the wife should own a property in order to will it to the children, what different does it make if the husband wills same property to same children?

What have we achieved by the closure except suffering for the masses. An unnecessary and irrational decision.

Acidosis:
You people should shut up!

If Innoson wants expansion, he should go public and sell shares on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

That's how to do business. You don't just sit and expect people to bow at your feet because you manufacture cars the average Nigerian would never be able to afford.
And you think selling shares is the only means of business expansion? You are truly acidic.

Innoson and indeed Nigeria can't move forward as long as we continue to have zero local content in car assembly.
Everything used in assembling those vehicles are imported from China.

That's why the prices aren't competitive and that's why they depend solely on government patronage.
How did you know this or you sit in your room and draw conclusions. Have you been to the plant?

Nig vs Argentina 2005. Since that day I dislike Messi and Barcelona till date, I struggled to forgive Messi. I felt Messi robed us and that was the day I got freedom from football. I was depressed, couldn't eat and since then told myself football will never do that to me again.

He had a duty of defending his country as a soldier against disintegration as enshrined in the constitution.

He was a soldier that had to do what needs to be done coz even if it’s not Gowon it will be someone else.

You all made it look like Gowon started the war. You also made it look like the Biafran side never killed any Nigerian soldier or civilian.

C’mon it’s a war and each side had a duty to defend their own and war always lead to casualties around the world. If Ojukwu birthday can be celebrated then Gowon also should have a chance to celebrate his birthday.
Going by your logic Crime against humanity should be expunged from the dictionary after all, it's all about war.

Wickedtruths:
I get you.

The thing is Innoson doesn't have sense. He's a greedy fellow who is selling based on sentiments, not competitiveness. Look at that crappy SUV he sells for more than 30M. The counterfeit Gwagon.

These ones are more sensible. Their phones are part of the devices used for the GEEP programs of the FG.
Quite easy to insult private individuals using your phone, same way I can say Dangote has no sense. What have you achieved for Nigeria with all your sense?

I'd still know right away that this is a badly told lie.
Faker than Mercy's yansh.
Mentioning Shangisha gives credence to the story. The entrance to Shangisha is terribly sloppy, I believe him.

Just a look at what a professor of Economics, Charles Soludo have been turned into. An errand mouthpiece for APC and El rufai.

A Hausa man will never shade his own brother or friend in such manner. He will rather say someone told me to stay out of Buhari's government. Not for an Igbo man. He will ridicule his tribe anytime he finds himself on national stage.

Richdad
I can bet you didn't listen to any of them speak. None of them attacked anyone. The OP is being clever by half by paraphrasing their speeches and picking what he wants.

Both Obi and Soludo were united in stating that the current structure of the govt is faulty and if nothing strategic happens poverty and insecurity will collapse Nigeria.

You people are always quick to attack the Igbos and when they reciprocate you cry foul.

How will you say a government website has an extension .com ?

You’ve corrected yourself and that should show you that you’re wrong in your assertions. The website should be .gov.ng and you can clearly see that the real Akwa Ibom website has that extension.

The earlier one is just a website created by someone but is not necessarily the official government website like the first guy claimed.

Attached are some state Government websites.
The website was just one of the proof. If you research you will realise there are more basis for the claim beyond the website. Let me refer you to one more where the indigenes are telling everone that cares to listen that they are Igbos

Any tom dick and harry can create a website, infact i am going to create abiaonline.com and include ibibio in all the LGA.

This https://akwaibomstate.gov.ng is the official website of akwa ibom state, stop refering to all these bloger bloger sites
You should know most towns and villages in state boundries usually overlap.thats why there are Igbos in Kogi and Igalas in Anambra, Ijaws in Ondo State. State creations did not follow perfect historic lines so stop forcing histories to fit into political divides. Once more go and read a researched perspective here.

Says who ? Dumb ass thats claiming that a language unknown to an entire state is a major language ?

Go to the site, you will see that the local government area is called Ika, and their main language is called Ika as well.. For business to flow, the get to speak Igbo as the do business with Abia people... But go there and there are no towns there bearing igbo names... So what do you understand as indegenous dumb ass ?
You need to do more historic research about your state. I'll refer you to here on Nairaland titled "Some Ibibio Historically Igbo But Politically Akwa Ibom..facts And Fictions - Culture - Nairaland"

Psalm2423:
Who be this one?
The dominant language in Delta is Urhobo and it’s variants. Delta Igbos cannot even communicate with each other. I don’t know where people get the idea that an Ika man is from the same tribe as an Oshimili man. Just cause one person said it doesn’t mean it holds. Let’s point back to history so I can disprove the horrendous claim that Igbos and the Ikas are one. During the civil war, Agbor was used as a battlefield (actually just the path along the Lagos Asaba Road). Guess who the Hausas were killing there? Not the indigenes but Igbo natives. My question is this. How did they spot the difference if both languages are the same as people claim them to be? And please don’t answer with an insult as we are just here to debate on the reasons why over 1000 different set of persons can’t stay together (I don’t know what Lord Lugard was doing, them suppose dig up him grave tear am better slap).
Igbo has several dialects it doesn't make anyone less Igbo same applies to Yoruba. Anambra man will struggle to understand a typical Ebonyi Igbo, it doesnt make anyone more Igbo than the other.

See all these cockroaches crawling out.. The local government area is Ika, the language there is Ika... But the same way an Oron man understands and speaks ibibio yet wont live to be called an ibibio man is the same way ika people speak igbo by their proximity to abia.. But all the town and villqges all have Ika names.
So I should believe you more than your state govt? The site states they speak Igbo as their FIRST language, don't you know what that means?

There are no indigenous Igbo in Cross River, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom and Edo State

There are indigenous Igbos in Rivers State and Delta State,

I know most Igbanke people bear Igbo names and their Languages sounds Igbo. I have met/work with a girl from Obubra LGA, Cross River, her name is Nkiru. I didn't ask how she got the name or whether people over there bear Igbo names.

Igbanke people are just like Itsekiri to Yoruba people,
You are wrong, let's stop denying what exist, they maybe in the minority but Igbo exist in Akwa Ibom, see my reference below[img][/img]
