PoliticsRe: Legal Position On Buhari's Educational Qualifications by PhockPhockMan: 11:02am On Feb 09, 2015
omenka:
PDP knows all these and that is why they would rather co-opt one nonentity to file the case in court on their behalf. They know what an embarrassment they would get going to court on the basis of what is available as per evidence and the position of the law.
When the going was good for APC, this comment would've attracted 900 likes from hackers.

gsainttrinity:
Continues. . . . .

The reasons for which the election should be postponed is ridiculous and outrightly stupid, which highlights in bold the many failures of our dear president. Bless his poor soul.
One reason being the inability to distributes the PVC!
I mean for bleeps sake! How is this a problem!

I remember when registration was taking place, some government gave up to three days holiday for registration, why not repeat the same action!
Make it a week, if that would guarantee that everybody gets his or her own. Is this a problem that requires postponing an election?
The answer is no, it simply shows that the president is not innovative, committed, focused and very pessimistic. That would readily make an anthill into a mountain. Little wonder Boko haram is this big a threat!

Secoundly which is downrightly unbelievable is ''for the AU forces to come to Nigeria and secure the north east!'' in six weeks! Fellow Nigerians and Nairalanders, is'nt this the height of cluelesness?

What Nigeria could not do in six years, she expect magician AU troops to do in six fucking weeks.

And if these 7500 strong men could not do it? What happens? Wait!, right? . . Clap for the commander in chief.

This guy should just pack his things quietly and leave.

BUHARI! well i just think Goodluck handed you the key to Aso rock on a platter of Gold. Not that he actually deserves it. .

Do Nigerians gave Abacha this kind of loud ovation everywhere he goes?
It's still you people that write how the president is treated with disrespect in the north, now tell me, are they disrespecting the president or the presidency?
PoliticsRe: How The Nigerian Army Fights Boko-Haram (Drone Strike At 15m) by PhockPhockMan: 10:08pm On Feb 06, 2015
tandoe:
Things like this give me hope for Nigeria I see motivated soldiers. the problem GEJ has is that his administration was highly distracted from bokoharam to very corrupt public servant to blatant hate from some members some tribes (a friend told me he would rather vote for an animal) to the fact that Nigeria is not politically matured enough to accommodate a leader from a minority tribe, a youth or a female leader or anything too different from the old cabal leadership figure we are used to that is why the likes of Obj, Buhari/Osinbajo and the likes can always claim to be a Messiah and we would believe them meanwhile a man like Pat Utomi,, or a rev Chris Okotie couldn't even get up to 2% of your votes.
Can't believe I fell for the change scam with my level of exposure today 5th February I make a change Today as a young Nigerian i pledge my support for the reelection of GEJ. thanks
You're welcome to the right path.

It seems APC as a party thinks it's supporters who are high on the "CHANGE" mantra now would have been cured of their hangover and won't be as optimistic about voting for Buhari again as they seem to be now. APC is scared. Plus having to fork out money for all the media campaign propaganda for another 'maybe one and half months' would do more damage to its financiers pockets, which may not be as deep as GEJ's 21 billion campaign war-chest. Furthermore not holding elections in Febuhari and taking it to March may mean "Maul-Buhari', or April, known as the month Buhari lost all previous elections (2003, 2007, 2011). I think i understand why APC supporters are scared. Lol!

stop holding elections till when? using insurgent as a reason for postponment does not sound right. this is the same insurgent the president has not been able to tackle for the past four years and yet he wants to shift election for that reason. so till when?
Is that the only thing you understand? The reality is that INEC is not ready. The president don't want a situation where election will be annulled because of these loopholes
PoliticsRe: Presidency Lists Grouse With February Polls Date by PhockPhockMan: 7:39pm On Feb 06, 2015

Jega thinks this election is child's play. I doubt if this man is mentally sound, he doesn't understand that this year's elections are pivotal to our democratic and social progress.

His PVC distribution and collection plan is useless and stupid. I went to INEC office in Area 10 to collect my PVC this morning only to be told I can't collect it because I registered in Enugu. I can't imagine how many nigerians are like me, who registered in a different state in 2010/2011 and left their area of registration permanently thereafter but can't vote in the upcoming elections because Jega can't use his brains properly even though he is a professor.

Jega must go after 2015.
You're right.

Obiagelli:
Why is this government so scared of elections? This problems didn't stop you from holding elections in ekiti and osun
"We also wish to recollect that in 2003, 2007, and 2011 the elections were held in April, and the hand over date was not affected.

“We therefore challenge the opposition to tell Nigerians in clear terms, what dangers the change of date from February 14th portends to the electoral process or to the Nigerian electorate. It will also be good if the opposition tells us who stands to benefit or be disadvantaged from any shifting of date and how.”
