PoliticsAdamawa Emir Warns APC To Stop Deceiving Nigerians. by PhockPhockMan(op): 2:55pm On Mar 13, 2016
The Traditional ruler of Mubi, Isah Ahamdu, has charged the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa to stop deceiving the electorate.
The Traditional ruler gave the charge when he played host to hundreds of APC members led by the state acting chairman, Ibrahim Bilal, in his palace in Mubi.
“Stop deceiving the electorate if you want your party to succeed in Nigeria,” he told his guests. “The era of deceit is passed, you must keep to your words.”
The traditional ruler said he gave the warning because he considered all the politicians as his children.
“As a father to all of you here, if I cannot tell you the truth then I am not a good father,” he said.
He added that his advice was not meant for only APC members but all politicians.
“I advise you politicians to do what is right and sometimes do what your electorate want and not only what you want them to do.”
He cautioned political parties to stop imposing candidates on the electorates, saying it affects not only their party, but the economy of the Nation.
Mr. Ahamdu added that “if political parties will present qualified people with the fear of God to occupy leadership positions in this country, irrespective of religion, gender and status, the problem we are having now would have been very minimal”.
In his response, Mr. Bilal said, “We came to pay homage and seek for royal blessings as we set to unite the party at all levels before the forth coming local government elections in the state.”

It means you can't last a week in prison then.

So make sure you don't embezzle at work, misappropriate, launder, or commit other offenses, lest you don't end up where your little gadget won't rescue you.
I pray i won't be in that situation.

HONEY, PLEASE ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT.

Just like any other Nigerian, my reliance on public power supply is less than 10%.
I always make sure there is enough fuel in my generator set even if there is constant power supply.
Yesterday, the generator broke down, and it could not be rectified that same yesterday.

Of course, no public power supply in sight. The heat was so unbearable that it was impossible to sleep.
Out of idleness, I went to the children's bedroom to look how they are doing, they are all asleep.

My eyes saw gold, a rechargeable fan that was laying idle because it was not charged.
The good thing is that it has provision for ordinary battery. I ran to nearby malam for the batteries.

Though it didn't give me the satisfaction as normal fan, it saved me from roasting from the current heatwave.

Hypocrisy is the worst form of corruption.

Hypocrite.

Quakertellicus1:
Hmmm......

The Western Sahara issue is not like the Biafra issue for these reasons

1.Western Sahara was a colony of Spain (was called Spanish Morocco)....while Morocco proper was a colony of France.

2. Morocco got independence from France in the 1960's. Western Sahara did not get independence till 1975.

3.When Spain quit Western Sahara.....Morocco and Mauritania marched in and split the country between themselves.

4.Eventually, Mauritania left its half of Western Sahara....which was taken over by Morocco eventually.

5.The OAU (Now AU) Strongly censured Morocco for its activity....and as a result....Morocco pulled out of the then OAU in 1975. Since then, they have stayed out.

6.Since the 1970's,Nigeria has always backed the Western Sahara.....in line with OAU/AU mandates. So..Buhari is just continuing an old policy...which is backed by all other African states.

Sorry, but this ain't Biafra in the desert....
Story story.
