Business › Re: How Lucrative Is Loaning Money Business? by phorget(m): 3:26pm On Mar 24, 2024 |
Please dont start this business, some people will rather die than pay back loans. The economy doesn't encourage credit facilities so people will borrow to eat rather than to invest, even investments are collapsing. |

KingAzubuike: America be laughing at Russia for struggling against Ukraine but they seem to easily forget they are the masters of losing wars embarrassingly.
America couldn't defeat ordinary Canada in 1812. They were chased away and pelted with stones by native American indians.
What about Vietnam? That's another embarrassing story for another day.
And oh! How did I forget the fiasco in Cuba? There's no UKRAINE or AMERICA in this news but see you with your busybody dragging them here. |
Politics › Re: Troops Recover Decomposing Hearts Of Soldiers Killed In Okuama, Delta State by phorget(m): 9:10am On Mar 23, 2024 |
olatade: There is an adage in Yoruba which is literally translated as “if you fail to rebuke your neighbour for eating a bad ant in the afternoon, his restlessness at night will deprive you of your sleep”.
You cannot measure someone’s reaction to an attack.
I responded with a punch to a slap you gave me, and you went to town that I didn’t respond in equal measure. Are you okay?
This explains the Soldiers’ response to the incident at Okuama. No! you did not respond to the slap given to you but you responded by hitting a sledgehammer to a passerby who was never part of your fight. If the army has responded with a bomb to the same militants that killed their personnel then it would have been a fair game but killing the innocent villagers makes it all worrisome. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia And China Block US Call For Immediate Gaza Ceasefire At UN by phorget(m): 2:52pm On Mar 22, 2024 |
FreeStuffsNG: If you listen to the Russian diplomat, it's US and it's follow-follow UK that technically blocked the resolution because they failed to adopt the resolution when others voted in favour of ceasefire.
According to Russia, it's hypocritical that US is requesting for adoption of ceasefire after it delayed and gave enough time to Isreal " to completely level and wipe out Gaza from the surface of the earth ". So there's no point for any UN Security council resolution as there is no Gaza more to save. Win Win for both the USA and Israelis. |

This is also evident in the way we drive. Everybody rushing to somewhere at the same time. They will block the main way and the alternative.

State governors didn't remove fuel subsidies, didn't close down the boarders, didn't increase import duties, aren't the soul provider of territorial and internal securities, has limited power to function etc. The lots all fall on the federal government so the government receives 95percent of the blames. If the governors are to be accountable then we gave to discentralize our system of governance into a regional system whereby governors become president in their individual states. |
