The confusion starts from the lumping of the whole of Igboid Delta state as Anioma. Youre more likely to see someone from the Ika and Ukwuani axis deny being Igbo than say the Aniocha axis. For instance, the OP is most likely from Ika or Ukwuani. They are the ones who carry the whole Anioma not Igbo on their head.

It's likely the Ika-Igbo speaking parts of Edo state.
The Igbankes( formerly Igbo- Akiri) being the largest and then the Ekpon( Uwa Elderson Echiejile is from Ekpon), Inyelen, Irun, etc.

They speak a form of Igbo language that has been corrupted by many Edo words from their Edo neighbors, but the language remain essentially Igbo.

What I heard is not essentially Igbo, seriously it was more of Benin. About 2/3 of the words I heard were Benin. I don't understand Igbo and I do Benin, I know what I am saying.

Can we let this Anioma not Igbo issue rest pls ? I am Anioma from issele uku to be precise and I see myself as Igbo... Don't know why we continue arguing over this... Even the so called south east igbos they all still have variance in dialects.. If u say am not Igbo who am I then ? Yoruba or Hausa Abi ? I truly believe those who argue this are neither from Anioma. Even Yorubas have variance also as the variance in ilorin is different from what is spoken Lagos but you will never see any of these people deny being Yorubas... Pls let's allow this issue rest. Thanks for your submission, Anioma is not a language. But the whole issue is confusing to me. I grew up in Benin and I was able to interact with many people from Anioma. Two of my neighbours were from Agbor they don't call themselves igbos, same with my mum friend from ukuale. Also I have met people from Anioma who call themselves igbo. There was a guy that I thought was from south east for many years, only recently he told me he is from Anioma. Why is it so? I am just asking to learn.

Before I was thinking it can never be possible, but the way that last senate passed about 40 bills in an hour, anything is possible.

I once saw some people speaking in benin, at first I thought they were speaking benin, later it seems they turned to igbo, then again benin. Which part of Anioma are they?

The sanctions was more of a blessing than curse to them. They started producing their own military hardwares when America refuse to sell them weapons and spare parts during their war with Iraq. And after that their has been no going back. They produce their own tanks, fighter jets, drones, sub marines and even destroyers. Their home made anti tank weapons they supplied to hizbullah coursed serious problems to Israel.

Iran has unknown capabilities, they manufacture their own tanks, long and short range missile,missile defence system, topendoes, sub marines, fighter jets and warships. On like the others that buy from russia and America, thought they may buy superior weapons, but the countries that sold them the weapons no their strengths, weak points and our to neutralise them. But Iran's capability can only be guessed. Till today America don't know how the brought down their most advance spy drone down from the sky without even firing a shot. They took control of the drone in the sky, landed it with minimal damage. This is the power of home made technology, nobody know what you have.

If one is depress and feel like given up, a good medicine is to visit a nigerian prison and hospital, if you know some people story, you would know you don't have any reason to be sad.

Infact Israel is pushing the United States to attack Iran. The United States does not care about the Iranian nuclear program at first, it was Israel who feel threaten by it and raised the issue and they have been pushing the States to attack them since they can't do it themselves.

Do you know how many Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed by Israel? The United States seems to be the only country that can dismantle their nuclear program because of how it was built. Infact, Israel would have attacked them if they can the same way they dismantled the nuclear program of Iraq. Look i respect Israel for one thing and is bravery: Israel will attack you if you pose threat to it, but in the case of iran it is suicide for them and they know it.

Some people just come here to talk because they have read some religious bulletins. They no nothing of what is going on. The reason why Israel is strong is because of America period. America has been pursing a policy of Israel military dominance in the middle east. America give their latest military hardwares to Israel free of charge and ensure its neighbours always get substandard weapons. Even the time Israel bomb Iraq, at that time Sadam was weak because of the military embargo america impose on him. Sadam fought two bloody wars first with Iran and secondly with America during the first gulf war. His military was very weak and he couldn't buy replacement. Both about iran, they producing their own weapons themselves. The day I respected them was when they brought down America most advance stealth drone down without firing a shot. Even Americans are afraid to fight Iran. The reasons America hasn't bomb Iran nuclear facility is because they told America point blank: if you try it, we would destroy all your bases in middle east and rain shahab 3 missiles in Televiv. Even war hungry George Bush didn't dare them.
