kosovo: Edo PDP didn't canvass for votes like they did in the National Assembly which they swept.
I guess it wasn't important, since there are gpoing to remove whoever Oshiomole appoints as his successor with the ballot next year.
The governor shared 2 million to each ward in the state from intelligence report on my palm.
The biggest looser is Samson Osagie who was a PDP member all through his political career, only to decamp to APC, called a saint. Yet, the people answered him with their PVC's.
I particularly, like what happened to the short man, it would make people sit up, knowing people no longer judge on party lines but on personalities and leadership qualities.
Nigeria is still far from votes that appear on party lines, because the two strongest parties in Nigeria do not have a clear cut ideology yet. how much did the PDP shared to each ward in the state from the intelligence report in your head? |

kokoA: Talking from a neutral point of view (though I'm not neutral, I support Buhari) I think GEJ is playing all his cards to early.. Who da fuq are his advisers?! You have almost 4 weeks to go and you've visited Lagos twice, spending a total of almost 1 week in the state.. For God's sake, APC still got 4 fuqing weeks to neutralise every campaign/"money" you think you have done/"shared".. If I was part of Mr. President's strategy team, I would have told him to chill till like a week or 2 before the elections before storming large voting areas like Lagos, Kano, Ibadan, etc.. Nigerians are quite easy to convince, you don't need a month to do it, rather a month gives you opponent enough room to counter all your moves. you can't blame him, because he thought the APC has finished spending their money and that was one of the reasons he pushed for the postponement of the election |

Ayeebaba: Finally, Gen. Buhari agreed to the fact that GEJ is a visionary and result driven leader. Here him out...
According to Marx Ohtugo
"Our economy has grown consistently at the rate of 7% and inflation kept at its minimum."
"Our economy is valued at $510 Billion and it's the largest in Africa this is what he said the economy, the fall in prices of oil has brought our economic and social stress into full relief. After the rebasing exercise in April 2014, Nigeria overtook South Africa as Africa’s largest economy. Our GDP is now valued at $510 billion and our economy rated 26th in the world. Also on the bright side, inflation has been kept at single digit for a while and our economy has grown at an average of 7% for about a decade. But it is more of paper growth, a growth that, on account of mismanagement, profligacy and corruption, has not translated to human development or shared prosperity. A development economist once said three questions should be asked about a country’s development: one, what is happening to poverty? Two, what is happening to unemployment? And three, what is happening to inequality? |

Buhari- On corruption, there will be no confusion as to where I stand. Corruption will have no place and the corrupt will not be appointed into my administration. First and foremost, we will plug the holes in the budgetary process. Revenue producing entities such as NNPC and Customs and Excise will have one set of books only. Their revenues will be publicly disclosed and regularly audited. The institutions of state dedicated to fighting corruption will be given independence and prosecutorial authority without political interference. |

Buhari- As a progressive party, we must reform our political economy to unleash the pent-up ingenuity and productivity of the Nigerian people thus freeing them from the curse of poverty. We will run a private sector-led economy but maintain an active role for government through strong regulatory oversight and deliberate interventions and incentives to diversify the base of our economy, strengthen productive sectors, improve the productive capacities of our people and create jobs for our teeming youths. |

Politics › Again, Militants Bar Patience Jonathan From Rally by picaso77(op): 5:00pm On Feb 05, 2015 |
Again, a group of militants, under the aegis of Magrove Boys of Bayelsa, has warned the wife of the President, Dame Patience Jonathan, to steer clear of the presidential campaign rally in Bayelsa State on Friday.
The group also warned the First Lady against any plot to connive with the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria to embarrass Governor Seriake Dickson.
As a soft landing for the First Lady, the unrepentant militants said since she insisted on attending the rally, she should set aside all her plans with TAN to disgrace Dickson or she would be thoroughly disgraced herself.
The group in a statement entitled, “Final Warning to Mrs. Jonathan,” said its members had been fully mobilised to publicly disgrace the First Lady and her husband if their loyalists made any cynical move against the governor.
In the statement signed by the President of the Executive Council, MBB, Mr. Opuyo Engobare, the group described itself as “dreaded” and warned the First Lady against undermining the integrity of its members.
The group said they would visit Dickson with their wrath if he tried to use his position as the chief security officer of the state to stop its members.
The MBB had, a few weeks ago, threatened to disgrace Mrs. Jonathan if she accompanied her husband to the rally two days after another group, Bayelsa Youth Vanguard issued a similar warning.
Worried by the development, the Aso Rock Villa decided to flood the campaign venue, Samson Siasia Sports Complex, and its environs, with security operatives including the deployment of 500 specially trained Presidential guards and 500 crack team of the Department of State Security.
But the group said its members would not be deterred by such massive security deployments.
The MBB said, “We remain resolute in our statement and actions and as such we have completed the mobilization of our determined youths who are ready to face any security hurdles at the rally.
“For your information Mama Peace, we have mapped out strategies to station our boys within and outside the Sports Complex while waiting to receive your action before marching into the venue.
“A disgrace to our governor is a disgrace to your husband Jonathan who abandoned the saying that charity begins at home, forgetting that tomorrow does not belong to anybody.” |
