I'd rather talk about the previous summer not next - it was a reasonably good summer by Arsenal standards - no major departures (bar Sagna - a big miss) and significant strengthening. Clearly another CB should've come in but didn't - that's the main failing.

You know, had Diaby kept fit over the years he would have been Viera's direct replacement. If you look in the market there's only one player I can think of which is Pogba. He's not as tenacious as Viera was, and he not a great tackler, either.
