Series take time to build up into.. you grow into them

Even Game of Thrones was boring at first...ep 1

Are u a marvel world fan

RayMcBlue: Couldn't get past the pilot, then I jumped it to watch the 2nd episode, but couldn't get past it either. I started scanning through the episodes but to my utter dismay, the whole thing is riddled with CGIs and lame monologues. When I watch a show, I live for the quotes. Sadly there's no notable, intelligent quotes to be garnered here.

Characters are not compelling enough and very hard to relate to. I especially hate the "Ward" character. Got the same problem with "Arrow" and "Smallville", BTW.

SAMBARRY: mr man how are you. Have you seen the movies I showed you. By the way i forgot to tell you that those movies I told you to watch and how you will easily find them

bigheart2013: This may sound funny because a girl is involved, however it's no different from a man who cannot quit a very stressful job with a harassing boss because he has to put food on the table for his family. Usually people in this type of situations feel powerless and helpless. Only outsiders can help them.
its differene. one does not involve a risk of violence wink

kimco: about time guy, u're missing. I'm kindda done with cry azz...cos people really try to find meaning to obviously flawed writing no matter wat u say.let's call it a defence mechanism. Maybe they can't help it, they need something to keep them reading the abomination naruto has become.
Im still reading though the inexplicability of the series becomes mind boggling episode upon episode
When u think youve seen it all azzpullz, Kishi goes in and brings 2 more each episode!

Kakashi of the Susanoo... laughable

if defense of kishi is rooted in canon logic.. good...i laugh every post i see the kishi crew trying to justify the stew the manga has become
for those who insult any criticism of kishi... well.. enough said

grin grin grin Stone cold gentleman

SStoneCCold: I sat my wife down severally to warn her about what I have noticed about her friend but she didn't listen. In fact, she told me point blank in the presence of some family members in the middle of a particular crisis that I should forget about coming between her and her best friend and that I was just wasting my time. I became very cold and aggressive to her friend and that didn't work too. In my frustration, two friends who were much older and matured in marriage seperately advised me to use that strategy when they noticed how moody I was. And surprisingly, it worked like magic. When I talk now, my wife listens smiley

Family › Re: "The Imperfections Of Marriage!" ~ Pav by pickabeau1: 3:02pm On Aug 18, 2014
And i understand this; however this is not unique to any nation or race or tribe

Man has always used religion to further his lust for power

Western nations became great not because of religion but industrialisation coupled with plain enforcement of laws, probity and accountability

Western nations are deemed lawful because of the punitive implications. when there is breakdown of order, looting spreeee

bukatyne: Sorry I have been MIA grin

The issue is not the sin (we all fall once in a while), the issue is reading the Bible point blank and still been able to twist it to one's self. Can a Christian read the Bible and still claim that all men are polygamous or all men must cheat? How can a Christian maltreat her/his maid and still support with Bible verses? How can we say Holy Ghost Zone and alcohol is been sold?

When I listen to the average Christian in Nigeria, I cringe and wonder if we have our specially made Bibles. We mix Christianity + culture a lot here.

If we are serving the true God, our nation would be better than it is.

Dude...strikes are not new in any part of the world

What is new is that professionals embark on incessant strikes because of consistent faithlessness by the authorities to meet agreed conditions

Go figure...

smartchoice: Einstein.... Am sure you people have plenty medical issues that JUSTIFIES your devilish strike?
Politics › Re: How Ebola Patients Survived – Experts by pickabeau1: 11:15am On Aug 18, 2014
Not a smart use of words... is ebola the only medical issue in the country

smartchoice: I wonder what nma relevance will be if Nigeria is able to curtail this virus while they are on strike!

cheesy cheesy cheesy....cococandy to yoyobitters

cococandy: I think so too.
And will definitely advice anyone who finds herself in such a position to do same.
Walk away.
Head held high.

But we all have heard about crimes of passion.
Even the most financially liberated of people men and women alike are not immune to it.

So if I were the man,I'd play safe.
Family › Re: Why Will You Accept A Second Wife? by pickabeau1: 10:36pm On Aug 17, 2014
interesting ....

you women surprise me though,,

With modernisation and empowerment, i think it should be easy for a woman to walk out of a union where she is not respected keeping her dignity rather than risk committing a crime...

what do you think?

cococandy: Oh someone said that?
Lmao. Girls are not smiling anymore.
Well at least you guys are realizing it's not small issue for many women.
We are now very different from our female ancestors.

Would I be murderous? Maybe. Who knows?
I don't even know.

I just know that my first reaction(which won't be pre-meditated or planned) might land him in the hospital. grin

If anything such 'discussions' are better held over the phone.

Ok but seriously though. Such a guy must be cool playing russian roulette with himself to sit face to face and tell madam he's bringing another woman into the marriage.
Not where I come from.
It doesn't happen or will I say it rarely happens.

Someone said this on another thread

I myself have zero tolerance. I also would create crazy thoughts in my head of strangling my man should i remain in that house, blowing his brains off in his sleep, looking at his face every single day. which is why divorcce is my ish!!
Do you think you can also harbour murderous thoughts if it happened to you

Im curious to what you meant exactly

As i said before u lumped all your points on churchgoing, christlike life and praise...

I still dont get your point(s)

For me.. i see the blog as an expose of hypocrisy practiced by churchgoers... this is not new...but to say that that is the christianity with a nigerian tilt is sardonic
