we are saying the same tin

the team needs to step up

without messi.. they will be home.... thats why belgium scares me

dmcdad: Aguero's loss? Let's face it, on paper Argentina are up there with the likes of Germamy and co. Yet, they have all failed to live up to expectations unless Messi who has taken the team on his shoulders thus far. Maria is trying, and played his best game against Nigeria, but is far from his best. Even the game against Switzerland was almost below an average game on his standards before the goal came. And of course it came courtesy of the Argentine wizard, the demi-god.

Have you checked on the stat so far? To know that prior to his injury, he was among the worst players of the World Cup. How about Higuain? Like his brother Aguero, he is a flop (at least so far). I find Lavezzi better than Aguero in this tournament, and like I told someone after the Nigeria game, it may just be a blessing in disguise. Lavezzi ran riot all through the first half against the Swiss side. Gago has been good, Mascherano has been fantastic also with breaking up plays and assisting the defence every now and then. Zabaleta is even far from his best but still trying. Rojo has been awesome, albeit he won't be in the game against the Belgians. Fernandes and Garay have tried so far, afterall it's no news that Argentina are just an average team when it comes to defending. But sincerely, their defence has been great and Romero has been good to me, considering how he was before the World Cup. He has really improved I must say. I never liked him prior to the World Cup, but to be frank he has been awesome in this tournament.

So, if you see, on paper they have the most lethal attack, but has it been so thus far? Far from that! If not for Messi's magics, what do you think would become of them?

Fulaman198: Do you think this might be Messi's last Cup? He is 27 so he's in his prime. Once he turns 29 things will go downhill from there.
I agree... He needs to step up now
My point is Zetsu doesn't really qualify as a son (as you can see he's not really human)... He's just one weird creature Kaguya created to revive her....
Until we get more info on the origins of kaguya and her sons... we can know
What you're implying is that black Zetsu is Hagoromo's brother... And that's not the case.... From the story Zetsu told, He was born right before Hagoromo and his brother sealed away Kaguya.... He was created for the purpose of freeing Kaguya, and that's what he's been trying to do all these years.....
You are saying the same thing
There are three sons of kaguya

cKaiser: Thats why all these black women who just pick up feminism by the roadside and carry it on their head just make me laugh

All other successful races have their women playing their roles as mothers wifes and still progressing in their career

But a black woman by the time she gets a small 9-5 job at McDonalds, No one would hear any word again, Its Im a strong black woman, my husband should be washing the ground i step on

A woman a whole CEO of Pepsico still plays her wifely and motherly duties without complaining but if na all these black women na all the world for don hear. Na to first chase the husband comot because he is probably not making as much as her then harass everyone even her drivers, juniors and cook on how much she makes and how she is strong and independent like say na only dem

Fulaman198: I think Belgium will beat Argentina too. Argentina has not been impressive this world cup
I hope jognpaul is right as messi needs that trophy to fully cement his status not that it should be
But he needs to shut his critics

Di marias stamina is impressive while its a big loss that kun ageuro is injured
Lavezzi needs to step up

gago has been impressive but the keeper Romero is suspect

You are right with your postulation..
Faith is individual and should not be forced..
This is my problem with Nigerian Christians. At best y'all are weekend christians and if no one is watching you'd probably sacrifice an animal to solve your problems. What does the Bible say about being married to an unbeliever. No where does it say that you should force your spouse to convert. In fact it clearly says that you should not divorce your spouse if they are not saved. They are covered and so are your children. If the unbelieving spouse decides to leave then that's their issue. No where at all does it say that if he or she does not convert then they are a bad husband or wife. You guys should not mix your personal beliefs or your traditional beliefs with scripture. OP if you want a purely scripture based solution then you have come to the wrong place. Everybody has issues in their marriage and the whole idea is to work on that marriage and not leave no place for divorce. If your husband chooses to divorce you over this just know that it is not about his faith but about his selfish reasons. Should you convert to Christianity it should be 100% your choice. Not threat of divorce or pressure from people who do not even read their Bible should make you convert. I'm a Christian so of course it would bring me joy to hear that you chose to convert. Keep being a good person and if one day you are touched to convert then I will also be happy for you. Keep talking to your husband. Ask him to search the scriptures and see how he should approach this situation. It is clear in the scripture what role he should play. Good luck because I know it will not be easy. Make the right choice but make sure it is your choice

Just wanted to add this
One couple I know who are Muslim/Christians are the Fashola's. It was the agreement he made with his inlaws before he married their daughter. In fact he promised that their children would be raised as Christians. Fashola's wife has not converted to Islam. From all indication he is dedicated to his marriage even though he is the muslim in the equation. He donates his money to Christian organizations. Yes your marriage might not be the typical thing but your marriage could be an example of how we should strive to live today in Nigeria. Muslims and Christians living together in peace. Says a lot about this idea that Muslims are barbaric and will not compromise on their faith. It is Christians suggesting that you must convert even though out Bible does not support that.
Dont worry..... something will come up sooner than u think

What u talk about is a model which has been working for porto, ajax where old boys come back to help in various capacities

Its so sad because if we had a good scouting network, we will have good products

Fulaman198: Absolutely, football gets no funding and if it does, the NFF steals all of it instead of using it the correct way. We don't have scouting programmes set up in all 36 states to scope out the best players in each respective region at an early age. We don't have junior teams like Barcelona or Ajax. We don't have football schools that have ex-super stars teaching youths how to play and collaborate with their peers in an orderly fashion. I would love to see ex-super stars like Okocha, Oliseh, Babayaro, Babangida, Ikpeba, Amokachi, Amunike, Finidi, Taribo, etc. become active moderators and coaches for the youth programmes and be active members within the NFF. Everything seems to be so disorganised.

Work is fine, it has been keeping me busy as of late. I'm so grateful this is a nameless forum, I keep my name secret on purpose, because I'm looking for a new job, albeit one that is more high-paying. If my company found out they would be upset with me.

Thanks bro and nice write up

i wonder why everyone was shouting football gets funding because of the bonus issues

Football, nay sports in nigeria gets minuscule funding so i dont get the beef with football

how is work and all

Fulaman198: I don't think football gets any funding and if it does the NFF chops most of the money. If you take a look at other progressive and 1st world nations, like the NBA in the United States or Brazils and Germany's method of strengthening their respective leagues by recruiting youths at an early age (ages 5 - 15) to play football professionally, I can tell you right now that Nigeria has nothing of the sort. Everything in Nigeria is so disorganised. Government officials and heads just steal everything, all the money needed to build up and better organise everything.

There is a reason why rich and technologically advanced countries are always #1 or on top in everything they do. It is because they actually are less corrupt than corrupt societies like Nigeria. I wish I could educate every 170 million Nigerian about how they get brainwashed by their leaders on a daily basis. The reason why Nigeria is not doing well as a whole is due to lack of awareness and brainwashing. Corruption is our biggest killer in Nigeria.
