I was lost at a point

Is the bible the progenitor of submission

Our women don't even bother with our culture anymore

I wonder what the next generation will learn when mothers don't even know the culture

Timbuktou:
Madam, in what way have you been marginalised. Stop deflecting and answer the question abeg.
You are just beating about the bush like a blind hunter. I asked you to point out the hypocrisy in pointing out something I agree with you're talking about the solar system. Simple question, how does agreeing with something constitute hypocrisy? I don't need the bible to teach wifely submission, my ancestors didn't need the bible to have such customs. And while I don't believe in love, I pride myself in treating one's wife with affection and respect. By the way, the bible also implores wives to love their husbands : Titus 2:4 - That they may teach the young women to be
sober, to love their husbands
; but I don't believe in love so ...
Again, poor judgement wink

C'mon guys this is not true.

NAWALT

(Not All Women Are Like That)

That's the classic refrain when the underlayer of the female pysche as relates to mate selection or sexual strategies is exposed. The workings and machinations reveal a cold and merciless efficiency in achieving its objectives that it leaves many in disbelief.

It is true that women do not emerge from an evil meeting or convention where these strategies that are being revealed today were decided upon. There was no secret assembly or coven smiley no referendums or conferences but the fact remains that all women are subject to specific biological influences that determine their behaviour in these matters. All of this operates on a limbic, organic level. It is this behaviour that informs part of the social conventions and cultures that we have around us.

The fact which Oga TV mentioned that women are strategic in relationship matters is one that rings true every time. There is no woman who is not on some level subject to the workings of hypergamy. Indeed even the fairy tale notion of love, or romantic love as some people are appealing to here, plays to the very strengths of this strategy. It provides the perfect cover for the feminine imperative to achieve its objective with the least amount of resistance because it requires it's subject to remain unaware of its calculations in the name of waiting for true magical love.

Today, for long term relationships and marriages a man who understands the mechanics at work and what is required of him stands the best chance of benefiting from it. It is this reason that "just follow your heart" can be quite a dangerous thing to do.

This understanding has to be acquired because what used to work in the past - traditions and conventions that made accommodations for these realities - are dying or being pushed to into irrelevance.
Gbagaun!

It's a thing in the west already, just that many don't talk about it.It is not because they want to but the cost of living here.Staying at home is a good bargain than working considering the cost of childcare.

For those having epiphanies and saying depression
I wonder why...

This is only but a logical conclusion of what is going on

When a kid says he does not want to marry because a woman will take all his money

When kids see how some women use the law to maltreat men

When a guy sees the girl he loves going out with aristos because he is not loaded at the moment....u expect him not to do same

If the truth is so depressing to you...sorry but one has to realistic

It is however encouraging that the team is looking at a remuneration structure for a volunteer to manage this

How do you know Chad has better spam than Kroeger the provider

What is the value of this optimum spam by Chad when an average spam with Kroeger willdo the job moreover with security

You still miss the point

My oga, you are indeed very wrong.

It is now known that we evolved for competition at the, quoting you, "spermatozoic level".

There are even tons of books on the subject: Sperm Wars - by Robin Baker, and Sex At Dawn: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality are examples.

You mentioned 'high status' and 'provider', but remember, they don't need to come from the same person.

The provider blissfully provides, while she goes behind to get inseminated by caveman Chad, who has optimum seed.

The thread is so ewwwwww. tongue This looks like a fun thread.

TV01

I don't think the premise is totally flawed. Why?

Se.x is for procreation, and our mating choices is evolutionary dependent on who is more likely to bear offspring.

The endpoint of the female mating selection is to determine the male who is more viable to reproduce.

Primitively, the metrics to determine this endpoint is through the outward appearance of the male, his physical strength, etc. Likewise in the male psyche, a generous amount of hips cheesy translates in his mind that the female is fertile and able to reproduce.

However, today we know that is not automatically the case. Big hips do not necessarily translate to fertility, neither does physical strength. Today we do not rely on mere physical attributes to determine who is fertile and who isn't. Science and technology have made it possible for us to go to the cellular level to determine who is more fertile. So since we are inherently programmed to procreate, the battle has now been reduced to the spermatozoan level. cheesy May the best man win.
So how do u know the best spamzoan huh

Ever read Sperm Wars?
From the comments of the females which you seem to be enjoying, it seems you are trolling

But lets humour you

No I have not yet read it though I have it somewhere as an ebook....

See précis below
Sperm Wars is a primarily nonfiction book by evolutionary biologist Robin Baker.[2][3] Originally published in English in 1996, it has since appeared in 25 languages[4] and in 2006 a 10th anniversary edition[2] was published in the United States. Through a series of short fictional stories and discussion following them, Baker proposes evolutionary functions for sexual habits, mostly on the principle of competition between sperm of different men for a prized egg.[2] The "sperm wars" include both literal battles between sperm inside a woman's reproductive tract, as well as figurative battles between men competing for the chance to mate.
And what is the relation to your assertion

Hogwash
Family › Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 1:00pm On Jul 31, 2015
TV01:
The first difference is that you equate hypergamy solely with gold-digging. It's encompases that, but is way more than that.

These days, very few men are financially and psychologically ready for marriage. Women mature faster and are - rightly - compelled biologically and socially to seek marriage earlier.

More pertinently, mens marriage value continues to climb into their 30, whilst womens - which whether one acknowledges it or not - is maximised when they are at the peak of their beauty. This will typically be mid 20's.

They may be more assured, sophisticated and polished into their 30's, bu tthey will not be more beautiful or fertile. Those are the main measures of marriage value to men.

Financial considerations may skew that somewhat nowadays. But note men that do not have these considerations, they typically end up with what you would term "trophy wives".

More generally, the key is to introduce the "marriage culture" from earlier - in both males and females. Get rid of the extended adolescence that most men seem to undergo these days, and the unrealistic picture that seem to drive womens approach to marriage.
That extended adolescence started due to the economic reasons
It was further helped by the availability of sex given by women encouraged by liberal attitudes
why buy the cow when u get the milk for free

Now with laws targeting your assets.. why marry at all

It will only get worse.
Family › Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 12:57pm On Jul 31, 2015
Also correct

ApexTitan:
I think it's not just about becoming "settled" as we like to put it here in Naija. The advice, which I also support, that men are better off marrying in their 30s or later, than in their 20s (to much younger woman of course) is stemmed to the fact that the man would have accrued more social capital and value, which is an important trigger for female attraction, than when he was in his 20s.

Even if he graduates from school early and lands a job in his mid 20s, in many instances he would still be working in an entry to mid level position for a few more years. It is later in his 30s that his position and status becomes much more pronounced. It is also assumed that he acquires an even better sense of judgment, he knows where he is going with his life - basically with age comes the quality of maturity that women quickly pickup on.

There are some interesting articles out there about how men's sexual marketplace value starts to peak in his 30s, would share them here if I could lay hands on them now... smiley
