I don't start twitter campaigns.
There are many things that go on in Nigeria that I hate even more than the bride price thing and I've not started a Twitter campaign against them.
It doesn't mean change the fact that I dislike them.
haha.. so Its just starts and stop
No action in real life.
No campaign
Nothing..

A woman like you campaigned for equal right on inheritance... take note

owKAY

How many twitter campaigns have you started against the 'evils' feminist are wrecking in the earth? Does it mean you're not serious about your dislike for them?
On this... while your retort is unrelated... I will humour you and answer you.

I have said it many times,... feminists are the easiest people to deal with.. you know their stand on any issue
not the pseudo feminists we have online barking but still want to be kept by men

link pls.

Barbaric? Hmm.
Nope.. that was not my question

I asked you if Nigerian women or any lady who comes online to decry this bride price custom has started even a twitter campaign

Since it demeans women

Have you clamoured for its removal other than stating you don't like it yet you had to comply

lmao.

No it shouldn't be called anything.
So is there a movement(online) or NGO that is campaigning for the abolition of this barbaric custom (as you ladies put it) grin grin

is there a twitter campaign

is the issue of brideprice even mentioned in this sudden campaign to highlight women in naija grin

that's my point, I'm not about to gist you what happened and who paid what or didn't pay. Or if it was returned or if my family had rights of their own that they had to perform to my husband's family which involved spending too. Because it gets personal and is just an avenue for miscreants to come and start blabbing rubbish. I Did that once, not gonna do it again.

The fact that it is called bride price is even enough to is scrap it.
Can it be called bride Prize
grin

To show the accomplishment of becoming a bride
Family › Re: Why Do Nigerians Rate Marriage So Highly? by pickabeau1: 4:35pm On Jul 01, 2015
NifemiOlu:
It's funny when people say marriage is not highly rated in Europe or America. Keep deceiving yourselves. You're getting the wrong impression from the media. What goes on the ground in those countries are never portrayed in the media. Up until now, except for a few people, many people didn't know America has a chronic race issue.
As per marriage, it's highly rated everywhere. In the case of Nigeria, those things people do to get married is the extreme aspect of it and what goes on during the marriage. Many people are not happy yet they can't break off. That's why we feel marriage is overrated in Nigeria. In Nigeria, many people die in silence but in Europe, they have freedom and will to quit any unfortunate or unfavourable marriage. Also people rush. George Clooney isn't married yet but he said he will eventually marry...at when he feels right but the main point is, he's going to get married. So, it all comes down to being married at some point in life even if it may not last.
He is married now

You are right AND Coquelin is statiscally the best DM in Europe since this year and you don't want to hamper his progress. So whoever is coming should only compliment him. I think Bender will be perfect. BTW Carvalho though 22 cannot be called inexperienced, he has played over 50 games for Porto including UCL and he is an international.

Good

So why do u women try to define what a 'real man' is...

VictoriaBee:
Man A thinking isn't same as man B thinking..
Man A might want a submissive and wife that loves cook.
Man B believes in reciprocity of respect and might help his wife to do chores.
*A real woman to Man A would be someone who does housechores and some other things.
*A real woman to Man B would be an independent/interdependent woman and other things.

Moreover from your words and those of the other females here, you see it as a form of tiit for tat thing.. is that right?
