meforyou1: do u even know what a transcript looks like? Secondary school transcript will mean all the subjects u took in secondary school from JSS 1 to SS 3. Who asks for that? For secondary school it is only WAEC certificate that is required. It is for university that they ask for both transcript and certificate. That was not your question. Your comment was that transcript don't exist for secondary school certificate. |

Paperwhite: That now makes it imperative that we change that mind set.So kindly tell your demigod to do the needful or resign to set a trend.Enough of this absurdity. You are missing the point as usual. Buhari is useless as a leader, just as every leader Nigeria has produced since independence. You should be more concerned about changing the mindset of how you do business as a people because even if you want to replace him, who are you going to replace him with? At present, there is not one person qualified to lead the country. If there was, the country would not be in the predicament it is in today. |

AtlanticBreeze: on the bold, I agree with you 100%.. There is a big problem with the thinking and attitude of the Nigeria masses.. Big problem. Infact I believe the postulation that many Nigerians have low IQ.. maybe because of poverty I don't think it is about IQ. I honestly believe it is about exposure. Most Nigerians just don't know a better way. It is like we are recycling the same thought process handed from generation to generation. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by pippimp(m): 3:47am On Jun 30, 2016 |
AtlanticBreeze: Not difficult. Afterall, bhuhari got himself one already.. Nigerians have bigger issues but the same buhari is ok with distracting himself with the fake trial of saraki and ekweremmadu over alleged forgery of senate rules... The same buhari is witch hunting and persecuting his opponents with federal might.. what then are the bigger issues that buhari is dealing with? For some reason you don't understand my argument. The issue Nigeria faces is how to overhaul the way it's people think and conduct business. Nigerians don't think like a people who desire a change in their lives which is why murder for example is acceptable. Distracting yourselves and facing core issues and suggestions like the ones wole Soyinka put forth will only keep Nigerians where it is. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by pippimp(m): 3:25am On Jun 30, 2016 |
AtlanticBreeze: keep decieving yourself.. what is the main issue then? Are you not aware that buhari procured a fake waec certificate too? Ask buhari to present the war college certificate.. let him present something to fulfil the constitutional requirement for contesting elections shikena You are doing it again. Nigerians have bigger issues than what you are all distracting yourselves with. Plus, you like whipping up conjectures just to satisfy your whims. I ask you again, how difficult would it be to procure a certificate in the most corrupt country in the world? |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by pippimp(m): 3:02am On Jun 30, 2016 |
SeverusSnape: Hypocrisy {and stupidity} is when you want Saraki/Ekweremadu to resign over a Forgery they didn't commit, but want Buhari to continue even after it has been confirmed that he forged a WAEC certificate.
The dullard claimed his certificate is in the military board, Oya, He is president now, Why not order them to release his WASC certificate??... Instead, He went to hire Senior advocates, using tax payers money, to defend him in court. Tell me, Is that not corruption?
Isn't it a shame that the president of the most populous country in Africa is a Certificateless illiterate? You realize that Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world. You can buy almost any certificate. If I was the president, and with so much power, do you think it would be an issue to go procure one? How would you know if it is fake or not? The problems plaguing Nigeria goes beyond if he has a certificate or not. Nigerians need to start focusing on real issues and less on distractions. The mere fact that he graduated from a U.S war college trumps any certificate in Nigeria. Why? Because West point and any military college is equivalent to a university degree in the U.S. |

justiz5: Jungle justice is the last option in an insane country like Nigeria where culprits usually go unpunished most of the time. cc: Apelex It is never an option. By your logic, an armed robber, would probably say robbing people is the last option he has in an insane country like Nigeria where there are no jobs and the government does not care. See my point? When something is wrong, you don't justify it. The means, in this case, an illegal act, must never be used to justify the ends. No matter how necessary you think it might be. |

If actually he was the one that committed the crime. You just contradicted yourself. Because of the doubt in your statement, is the reason jungle justice is insane. How exactly do we know that that is the culprit. The fellow might just be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nigeria is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. It is so easy to kill anyone. It boggles my mind how and why murder in legal in that country. God. Why? Smh. |

tomquest: This post of yours aptly sums up the key reasons why I created this topic: for a better marriage, nothing more. But a lot of ladies are furious over the issue because they misconstrued it as a bashing thing. Far from it.
We all have women in our families and we know they must gain inevitable weight over the years. This is normal. But my post is saying "REMEMBER THAT YOUR HUSBAND WAS FIRSTLY ATTRACTED TO YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR LOOKS, SO TRY NOT TO ALLOW YOUR WEIGHT GAIN GO OUT OF CONTROL".
If he maintains that he loves you overshooting your BMI right into obesity, then how nice! The essence of this discussion is to save potentially threatened marriages. Well said. |

Unique04: Don't you know child bearing makes a woman pull on weight? Anyway u are right on one thing, Nigerian women are too lazy to watch their weight. However, weight gain of a partner should not be an excuse for adultery.
#my2cents# It is not an excuse but it is the reality. The major reason spouses (i am not going to single out women), don't care about their appearance after a few years of marriage is because they take things for granted. They start to let themselves go because they've gotten what they wanted, whatever that is. It is especially dangerous for women because for some reason, women don't understand the psychology of men but most men understand women. Women don't care how a man looks, as long as he can provide comfort. Which is why someone like oshiomole can marry a woman like Lara. Men care a lot about the appearance of their wives, girlfriend, etc, and when they don't see the person they married anymore they tend to drift away. Anyway, it is important for both partners to recognize this and always have it in the back of their minds not to take things for granted. |

Ofemmanu1: So, where were you hiding eversince the daura govt started it's "operation witch hunting"?! For some reason you think I am in support of buhari of any leader in Nigeria past or present. I am not. They are all useless. What I am saying is it is insane to take sides in a country where practically every leader is worthless. You are only short changing yourself when you do that. They are to be criticized equally. Nigerians don't realise that they are their own problems. They keep allowing below par people to lead them. Fayose or burutai should not be allowed to lead primary one students not to talk of grown men and women. |
