please be reasonable. i'm not saying a woman's place is in the kitchen. even if she's the president, she still has to submit to her husband (that's what the bible says). if a woman can't cook, do house chores or/and take care of her family, she as useless as a man who can't provide for his family. So get that into your chicken brain.

this has worked for some people:
after or during the chatting, make some comments about her phone and then tell her you want to take a look at her phone, then just dial your number on it automatically the number will appear on your phone and you got her number. (if she no come get credit na ur luck).

1)They are scared: U know igbo's like money too much so they are afraid that
they will embezzle their money or siphone it into thier own account.

2)Most igbo's are illiterates: They prefer to own their own business and be the oga instead of collecting salary, so they either drop out of secondary school or start learning a trade after secondary school.

it depends on the type of friend. if he/she is very important to you, you can make your guy understand but if it's just one of those friends, just leave them cos i'm sure they'll do the same if they were in your shoes. friends full everywhere and soon u'll get another one

Okay at first i didn't know where to post this topic but i finally decided to post it here.

Two years ago i read from SUN news paper that there was this shorlarship sheme being organised in Ogun state for virgin girls within the age of 18 - 22, but they had to go for a virginity test before they could qualify for the schorlarship. Many poeple frowned at it while others approved of it and it raised a lot of controversies at that time. Just yesterday i came across that same news paper and i began to wonder what virginity had to do with intelligence.

Fellow nairalanders (the ladies) if you were asked to go for this test, will you go? and what do you all think about the whole idea?

well for me both are important. when you perform the traditional marriage it means you respect your tradition and performing the white wedding is like inviting God to your marriage because without Him the whole thing'll just flop.
