Good to hear. I have always told people that things still work in this country. Some of all these government officials sleep in their offices because the masses refuse to bring their complaint to them believing that they would not resolve it. If you have any complaint, just take it to the right channel and they would thank you because it boost their records that they are working and not just receiving salary.

Only stanbic is doing the right thing, u mustn't sell dollar above the official rate as a fanancial institution, let's now assume its paper currency, we can say maybe they couldn't get dollar from cbn so the used the rate where they bought, but this are virtual payments not physical cash meaning its always have the face value, except u are dealing with marchants who dnt use official rates. But paypal does, now u buy something of $100, banks send the 100 to paypal at the official exchange rate, and charge u higher

They even called and apologize, the lady was like she was surprised also, for my mind i said are sure it's not because of cbn, they never knew i copied cbn, so in the mail they were just talking thrash, i got the mail here cpd@cbn.gov.ng

I think it's time we demand quality service from govt and service providers including financial institutions, in respect of my cancelled order on Paypal, UBA charged me 217+ per dollar, but refunding they refunded 198.5, i mailed them, they told me it's official rate, why didnt they use official rate in charging initially was what i asked' meanwhile during the periood the transaction was made, the exchange rate between the dollar and pounds didn't change (the transaction was quoted in pounds, but paypal charged me dollar and converted to pound). I copied CBN in the mails, just this morning i was credited with the normal charge of 217 and debited with the debious refund. Thanks to stanley08 this forum has really help some of us in knowing the sharp practices of these banks

UBA finally credits me but at the rate of #198.50 whereas i was charged 217.4. They will hear from me

Please do u know how long it take for reversal from paypal takes to reflect...i bought something on ebay and paypal had issues with it, and reversed the order, paypal credited my card on 27th may, uptil now have not seen the reversal in my account

I don't know about other departments, but I was successful for DMO, I don't know a soul in FAAN!! This is purely a miracle, and I am very grateful to GOD who did it.

Same here dont know a single soul in faan, infact even my collegue who pushed and pushed me to apply, he has people in faan his father retired from fire department in faan, couldn't write aptitude

So happy Nigeria is working, atleast am a testimony that i got a fed work based purely on merit
