Youwin is an excellent Initiative

There was no place Ngozi said Youwin has created millions jobs already,instead she said it has created over 30,000 jobs already. And the statistics is this:youwin has awarded about 3600 so far, each directly employing about 5-15 workers . Indirect workers might be more than 100k. There are some Youwin awradees that have made over 100million turnaround in just one year.
Youwin is 95% traansparent. I would have said 100%, but because of "Nigeria's factor" I leave it at 95. Most people saying that it is not transparent didn't do their home work well. I use to be like that, until I had the oppotunity to glance someone's work. It was the quality of work and energy that set the awardees apart in their application. Do you that know part of the application process is marked by University of Plymouth, UK? Do you know that they check for Plagiarism in Youwin?
Youwin 1 was the beginining so there were were errors. It was possible to award someone that wasn't experienced in running a business to win if he had a good plan. As Youwin progressed, there were lots of checks and training before you are awarded the grant.
I know people were writing for people, that's why they introduce physical interview/ defence at the YOuwin 3. With my new knowledge of youwin process, I was able to assist my friend in youwin three and he was sucessful without any connection. Though he is yet to be paid his last tranch, but his business is doing well. I know over 10 people that got the Youwin without connection at all.
The challenge with many their Nigerians is that they are lazy and they believe that you most have connection to have so and so. If they can give 95% without connection, why can't I be among the 95%? Instead you hear people saying youwin is a fraud, without even attempting.
My advice to this government is to keep this initiative. Even if they won't give the money as grant, they should give it as non interest loan payable between 5 to 10 years or more. This will narrow the choice to people that are really business minded.
I truely commend GEJ and NOI for this intiative. Is far better than plan the 5k plan that may go to the wrong hands.

Let them just tell us the worth of Fashola and Ameachi's SUVs. I can bet they are far more than 100 million Naira each.

The car might look expensive,but from the knowledge I got when I jokingly priced a fairly used bullet proof BMW X5 from a car dealer in Abuja. The response I got shows me that buying a new for bullet proof SUV for 90 million is fair and in some cases very cheap.

FG Admits Ownership of $9.3m Arms Cash Seized by South Africa

The federal government has allegedly opened talks with South Africa after an aircraft conveying $9.3m cash from Abuja, allegedly for arms purchase, was seized by the South African authorities.

Two Nigerians and an Israeli aboard the airplane were detained and are facing investigations for transporting the huge amount into South Africa.

Security personnel were quoted however Tuesday as confirming the order and saying it was a normal practice to procure arms with cash.

PRNigeria, an agency that regularly disseminates media statements for the military, police and other security agencies in Nigeria, said that Nigerian government has released data and documents on the transaction, telling the South African government the transaction was “legitimate”

The report said talks between the two countries were at the governmental level and between the intelligence services of the two nations.

PRNigeria quoted a senior government official as saying that the South African Government only faulted “non-declaration” of the cash by the delegation from Nigeria.

“Nigeria and South Africa are getting closer to diplomatic resolution of the row over the $9.3m transaction. The two nations have opened up discussions,” PRNigeria quoted the official as saying.

“The Federal Government has submitted relevant data and documents on the transaction to South Africa and insisted that the transaction was legitimate.

“It also clarified that the funds were not laundered or smuggled for any covert manoeuvres. No launderer will be audacious to fly into a country in a chartered jet with such a huge cash.

“The technical details on security matters, which necessitated the desk, had been availed South Africa for screening.

“Based on initial scrutiny of the documents, the Challenger Jet has been released pending the conclusion of a full-scale investigation by South Africa.”

The source said South African authorities impounded the cash because of “procedural error”.

“There was procedural error at the airport, the team did not declare the $9.3million contrary to the aviation and customs laws in South Africa,” he said.

“So, there was an oversight on the part of the delegation that went to complete the transaction.

“Nigeria is trying to complete the formality and we are confident that the cash will be released for the purpose it was meant for.

“Movement of cash for strategic purchase of security equipment by intelligence service is not new; it is a global trend. The FBI, KGB, MOSSAD and others do it,” the statement said.

Rigging comes into play when you allow results to be coalated from different centres.(Some centres might not even exist). PDP has conducted transparent primaries with over 10000 delgates seated in one place and shown live on National TV.
900 is a good number to work with in a state primary election. Their emergence is what really matters.
Looking at delegates that Voted at PDP primaries, you will agree with me that, all zones and localities were well represented.
The question is how did this 6000 APC delegates emerge?
The simple answer is that they were just selected by two people. Atiku and Nyako's respesentative. If you doubt me, check out their composition.
