Defection will be a disastrous move from him.

This is the Real Governors Forum that have a say in the Party affairs, not that one headed by Ameachi.

Ameachi was using NGF to interfere with Party affairs and even went too far threatening to remove the party chairman.

I like the Power play here, GEJ is smart in putting Akpabio that is loyal to both him and the National Chairman.

Any decision taken by the party will be backed up by the PDP governor's forum.

Ameachi can only fight back by using NGF to challenge national policies, but might not workout cos the National Assembly has the final say.

Ameachi was becoming too vocal and annoying like his predecessor Bukola, wanting to frustrate the presidency. It serves him right.

Let him prepare for death sentence, or life imprisonment.

Politics / Re: Senator Queries Use Of Military Training Aircraft By Politicians by Pk001(m): 12:16am On Dec 19, 2012
People should please get their facts right before talking.

First of all, Oronto Douglas hired private Helicopters and boats to ferry his guest to the Burial.

Secondly, the Navy Helicopter was carrying a five star general who has all the pilverages of a serving general including the use of their vehicles.

Thirdly, there is nothing special about the design of that particular helicopter that makes it only to be used for naval purposes only. Infact, that aircraft might even be a gift from one of these oil companies.

BlueMurder: If it were a Muslim-inspired monument, we would have been inundated with delirious shouts of "islamization of Nigeria".

My friend, this is not a monument. This is about the season and is done all around the world. Go to Dubai now and see what's happening.

National Assembly built like a mosque is what is called a monument to give Nigeria a false Islamic look.

I would like 2 ask wat u studied while in school.

Mass Communication graduate can't teach oral English for secondary school level? Maybe am not getting something clear here. I thought most of the modules in mass com deals with communications skills and the courses are English oriented?

Anyway for your information I studied marine engineering and I lectured in a monotechnic (not even secondary school ) during my service. I took engineering drawing and workshop technology for both ND 1 and ND 2 students. The students graduated with the best records in over 8years. The school is proud of me till date.

Africans are so obsessed with power, even when they are incapable of leading as a result of incapacitation they still find it strenuous to disclose to us the status quo. smh

Are you in Nigeria? The deputy governor has been sworn in over two weeks ago.

Politics / Re: Patrick Obahiagbon, On Nigerian Pastors And Private Jet by Pk001(m): 10:54pm On Nov 25, 2012
Even the RF Matthew Kukah he is casting his vote in support is acting like a hypocrite. If he is sincere, the first person he should have attacked should be his boss the pope, who has more than one private Jet.

Anyway is not about the private Jet, cos those that gave the man of God the gift knew why the did it and they are not complaining.
Prophet Elijah actually told the widow to give her last bread to him, and at the long run she was the one that was blessed.

Same thing with Jesus. Why didn't he return the offering to the woman with the widow's might, since that was her last money? It is because he knew that she will be more blessed and her giving was only needed for the connection.

As I said earlier, those that gave knew why they gave. After all how much is a private Jet? Don't be surprised, Pastor Ayo can even be pastoring people that own private jets. So is it a crime if they get him one?

Person wey no get moni buy stout, e go talk say e bitter.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Sets-up Committee To Examine Ribadu Report And Others by Pk001(m): 10:49pm On Nov 15, 2012
Now that Goodluck is ready to work with the report, some people are here trying to condemn him again.

It is a standard procedure that once a report is submitted by a committee, a white paper has to be drafted from it. Another set of people have to carefully examine what is said in a report, take the vital part and then draft a white paper on it.

The government can only work with white paper not just report.

Please let us commend GEJ here for even accepting the unfinished Ribadu's report and considering it for a white paper.

Politics / Re: Credibilty Of The Ribadu Report! by Pk001(m): 11:38am On Nov 12, 2012
At times am baffled by the way Ribadu speaks.

He clearly told the press that both reports submitted in august that leaked and the one submitted in November are the same.
Careful look at the reports shows that they are different. Infact some paragraphs containing some figures were completely missing.

The terms of reference for the commitee clearly stated that it is a fact finding committee that is expected to submit its report monthly, on how to get the maximum revenue from the petroleum industry. Why did he say this is the final report?

If the terms given to the committee was to verify and reconcile data why is he pushing back the work to government? Is it for them to set up another committee?

Also where is the automated system for harmonizing and collecting revenue from the different groups in the petroleum industry?

I discredit this report because it is inconclusive and full of flaws, unless Ribadu goes back to complete the work.

take dat: What else should one expect from a Reno Omokri naijapundit website? An article tainted with conjectures, conspiracy theories and outright lies while trying to divert our attention from the report. This is a failed attempt to shift our focus from this report. Ribadu report has come to stay!

It doesn't matter even if it was written on Reno Omokri's website. What is being said is the fact. No conjectures or conspiracy theories.

This write up gives a clear insight to what really is happening.
Career / Re: Why I Left Banking For Dangote Truck Drivers Job by Pk001(m): 10:28am On Nov 12, 2012

“I had to leave the banking industry when I married my colleague, because the human resource policy then did not allow spouses to work in the same office. I felt that my wife should stay behind while I as a man would look around for something to do. It wasn’t easy, because the job was not forthcoming as I thought. I attended a couple of interviews at different places, but I didn’t get what I was looking for.

From what I understand he was forced to leave banking Job because he and wife were working in the same bank, not because of Dangote Truck Driving. So the topic should have read, former bank worker now Dangote truck driver.
