Politics / Re: El Rufai Mocks Pastor Oritsejafor On Private Jet by Pk001(m): 3:10pm On Nov 11, 2012 |
How much is a jet? If the church members saw it as a need for their pastor and they met it so be it. Is it Elrufai's money? No Then why is he complaining? After all there are people using that same amount of money just to buy bra. Then why is this mallam not complaining? Poverty is first of all a mindset. If you see private jet as something very big, then you will never even enter it, talkless of owning it. Those that contributed to get the Jet for Pastor Ayo know why they did it and they are not complaining. The problem is that, there are too many people with poverty mentality. There mind cannot even understand what a gift is. Mallam, please don't poke nose into other people's affairs. Stay focus on your Imams and the Sultan. I believe if you look closely, you will have enough things to say about their way of life. 1 Like |

Ribadu why? Why couldn't you just verify and reconcile your findings before submitting the report? At least you had time. Why did you even allow the report to leak at the first place. You did a great job, but why do you want to give room for controversy? Or is there element of truth in what is being said? You should know better than this, but you fall my hand. |

Are you sure it wasn't playback you went to buy And you are coming here to spew rubbish just after using it for one day. You are talking about comparison, are you naive? Go to Google or use youtube ,you will see different comparison between playbook and other tablets including ipad. |

thelastPope: Bros, you don use playbook before? Who told you playbook doesn't have wifi? And tell me why you will need a sim card on your playbook if you can bridge it and enjoy all the Internet package without interrupting your phone's Internet services and at no extra cost. BB has the best Internet plan for Nigeria and I bet, you will enjoy BB PLAYBOOK far more than ipad or any other tablet in Nigeria. Mind you, playbook runs on android applications so you have enough applications you need that will complete with Ipad. The only thing is that, you have to buy some the best applications for playbook and they are relatively cheap. I have used different tablets including Ipad and I can testify that bb playbook is just the best especially for Nigeria. It's a pity many are not aware of the capabilities of playbook and thereby being reaped by apple. |

The only mugu am seeing here is eedris. Obj made an honest correction about his song, all Eedris could do is to call him mugu. Eedris can never go far with his music,he is bringing curse upon himself. You can't curse your land and expect to prosper there. Watch his music, how many of his songs made real hit after Jagajaga? |

Politics / Re: GEJ's Racist Comment In Trinidad And Tobago by Pk001(m): 3:53pm On Aug 04, 2012 |
There is nothing wrong with GEJ'S statement even if he was speaking in a mix-race country. The call was for Blackman globally to take the center stage in world affairs not just the blacks in Trinidad and Tobago. The Indians are already taking center stage so no need motivating them to take that role. GEJ wasn't motivating blacks in Trinidad and Tobago to hate the indians there, instead his call was for the blacks in the world to rise to challenge and take what they deserve. |
Politics / Re: GEJ's Racist Comment In Trinidad And Tobago by Pk001(m): 11:38pm On Aug 03, 2012 |
ekt_bear: What is wrong with his statement? What is racist about it? Ask them o! Maybe some people don't understand what a racist statement is. This is just a motivational statement calling on the blacks to rise to the position of leadership in the globe. I wonder how the statement is racist when it is not castigating any race. I really love the way they were hailing GEJ in Trinidad and Tobago 31 Likes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Truck Drivers With HND/BSc: No Respect For Nigerian Graduates by Pk001(m): 8:31pm On Aug 02, 2012 |
Those of you comparing this to what is being done in UK or US are missing it. It is not pride for a graduate to reject the post as a driver. The difference between this and the UK or US is PACKAGING. You will never see them advertising the post of a driver for graduates because they know that the role is below the standard of a graduate. Instead they can call it logistics assistant, supply chain personnel etc. That's what is being done. Go and try applying as a graduate in the logistics section of DHL,GUINESS, ROYALMAIL, TESCO etc in most cases they will ask you if you have a valid driver's license. The reason is that you are actually going to be the driver of their delivery vehicles. The difference is that you are not going to be just a driver but you will be given additional technical roles to handle. Roles like inventory and stock stock taking, lead time calculations, EOQ's determination, use of RFID's and barcode generations etc. And the pay is excellent. If that is what Dangote is planning to do with the graduates then I have no problem with that. He should only repackage the name. |

Politics / Re: GEJ Vows To End Theft Of Crude Oil by Pk001(m): 3:04pm On Jul 24, 2012 |
All these people making noise that GEJ is clueless for saying that he will stop crude oil theft are clueless. Oil theft has been in Nigeria since military era, and non of past leaders have made real attempt to stop it. Some of their allies and top personel in government where even involved in it. It is important to note that there is no way the theft will succeed without the cooperation of the Niger deltans ( militants) ,because they felt the only way to benefit from their resources is by directly selling it through bunkering. And the oil thieves need their assistance to get it from their communities. Yaradua came with a plan to end militancy by granting amnesty to them and rehabilitating them. GEJ went further by empowering them ,giving jobs of securing the pipelines and ensuring that revenue generated are used to develop the communities. If GEJ's plan is fully implemented, there is no way crude oil theft will succeed. Now all those calling GEJ names, tell me what genuine efforts have the past leaders put to end these theft? Buhari inclusive. |

A bit relieve. Though not a strong defense but acceptable. A permanent secretary can be appointed without an office regarded the person has attained the grade level. I have seen that in some states. But why this is not done is because the permanent secretary has to paid the entitlement of the office, so is like under utilisation of resources. If Patience will not be paid by Bayelsa state government then that's fine. But what is the point? |

SimonAndal: Why d'ya guys hate BB so much? Whatever did they do to you? That I use a BB doesn't make me a fool or a technologically backward person. It makes me an economical person. Let's calculate: BIS plan is very cheap I use a BB phone and BB playbook. These two serve all the purpose I need at the cheapest price. With N1,400 a month on glo I get 3gb. I bridge my playbook to my BB phone and I use the Internet on both unlimitedly. I don't exhaust up to 2gb in a month even after making several downloads and watching a lot of YouTube videos. Talking about technology, my BB playbook 2.0 uses android apps as well. So what more? I can't be deceived, BB is still very good and economical for naija. Let's I forget, the BB messenger is the most secured messenger, even FBI cannot hack it unless they work in partnership with RIM which is not possible. |

Crime / Re: Man Sentenced To Death For Stealing N1,705 & N400 Milk by Pk001(m): 10:48am On Jun 22, 2012 |
From what I understand,it is not the stealing of N1750 that got him this sentence, but the fact that he used a GUN to rob. This is because it is seen as a murder attempt and in Nigerian constitution robbing with a weapon can get a penalty of up to life imprisonment or death. A man that can threaten you with gun can actually kill you. Please Lawyers in the house help. Anyway I still feel the judge should be lenient. |

Politics / Re: Adamawa Guber Election by Pk001(m): 4:29pm On Feb 05, 2012 |
Pk001: Final results As I predicted and and also confirmed by Inec PDP-302,953 ACN-241,023 CPC-107,543 Had it ACN concentrated on politics rather than religion, they could have won. PDP won becuse both christians and muslims supported them in 50-50 ratio, whereas 90% of ACN voters where all xtians. CPC where actually decison makers, because they siphoned votes from both ACN and PDP CPC is actually seen as a muslim party in the state, but the Xtians that voted for CPC, did that based on the integrity of Marwa as a person. The major challenge PDP had was inability of the incumbent governor to pay the workers salaries, and that actually reduce the popularity of the party. I hope governor elect would do something positive soonest concerning the civil servants in the state |
Politics / Re: Adamawa Guber Election by Pk001(m): 8:12am On Feb 05, 2012 |
dayokanu: ^^ That was in 1999, what of the second election in 2003? Boni Haruna won in 2003 becuase he was the incumbent governor and Adamu Modibbo was bringing religion to his politics. Religious politics will hardly work in Adamawa state, be it Xtains or muslims. |
Politics / Re: Adamawa Guber Election by Pk001(m): 11:04pm On Feb 04, 2012 |
Ddaji: Where did you get the statistics from? The truth is that the muslims in Adamawa state are not more than the Xtians going by the facts and figures. Introduction of religion an state like Adamawa will always lead to the party loosing. This is because is not evrybody that is ready to go along the religion divide. And since the state is a kind of 50-50 ratio, the party introducing it always suffers. Is just like the case of Adamu moddibo and Boni Haruna in 2003. Adamu moddibbo lost mainly because he started introducing religion to his campaign. He wanted muslims to vote for him Likewise from the look of things, the current ACN candidate will loose simply because he was introducing religion to the politics in the state. Though i heard that ACN is giving PDP tough time in some places. Marwa CPC is surely the last among three, because no matter how good Marwa may look, people in the state still do not trust CPC because of the post election violence that happened in April. Now it is PDP vs ACN. But I think PDP will win with a narrow margin. ACN actaully lost it by introducing religion. All fingers crossed. |
