There are many seemingly innocent daily habits that if we realise how disgusting or unhealthy they are, we will stop them immediately.

We are not talking about forgetting to brush your teeth before going to bed or forgetting to cover your mouth when you yawn.

Keep reading about some of the daily habits you need to stop immediately according to Appropriate Living.

1. Sneezing in your palms
Many of us are guilty of this but sneezing in the crook of your elbows is safer than your palms because the palm retains the germs. This poses a health risk to not just you but also the people you come in contact with.

2. Sharing drinks with others
Sharing your friend's drink is cool and affectionate but when you do this, you are also sharing their saliva. The saliva can easily transmit disease that either you or your friend has.

3. Keeping your bag on the table
Your bag travels everywhere and accumulates germs on the way. A study by an English company, Initial Washroom Hygienefound out that a bag actually contains on average more bacteria than most toilets. When next you go out for a meal, you might want to reconsider before putting your bag on the same table.

4. Biting your nails
Already tagged a bad habit, you now have more reasons to stop this habit. Firstly, it is impossible to have perfectly clean hands all day long and that is why most germs hide in your nails, and when you bite your nails you bring these germs directly to your mouth. Secondly, biting your nails is also really bad for your teeth: it affects your enamel and brings your gums in contact with the bacteria in your nails.

5: Using hand dryers
When next you visit a restroom, you may want to rethink it before you use the hand dryer because recent studies show that a hand dryer sends out from 40 to 60 colonies of bacteria when you use it! It is interesting to note that you are "only" exposed to 1 colony of bacteria while you use the toilet.

6. Picking up food from the ground for consumption
Once your food falls on the floor, just forget about picking it up to eat because let's face it, the ground is not exactly the healthiest platter.

7. Leaving your wet towel to dry in the bathroom
Many of us, this writer included is in the habit of hanging wet towel in the bathroom to dry but a wet towel not only attracts new germs but also keeps the bacteria and germs you left to it while using it.

8. Cleaning your ears with your fingers
This doesn't clean ear wax rather, what you do is you push it further inside, making it block your ear canal which can affect your hearing. Bacteria are also introduced to your hand and pose dangers to your health.

Leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis has been captured angrily smacking the hands of a woman who gripped his hands as he was happily greeting children and pilgrims in St. Peter’s Square on Tuesday.

The pope, 83, was seen making his way to the Nativity scene at the center of Vatican City when a woman grabbed his hand and drew him towards her as he tried to walk away from the crowd.

He became visibly upset and slapped the woman’s hand in an attempt to free himself from the woman’s grip, even as he angrily shouted at the unknown woman.

It’s unclear what the woman was trying to tell the Pope but she made a sign of the cross before she reached for his hand.

Simply Tacha recently released a statement revealing that she’s ending her management relationship with TeeBillz.

The reality TV star made this known via her Instagram page on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. According to her, they ended the relationship in a mutual manner. For Tacha, she is thankful for all the opportunities she had while working together with Tee Billz.

“It is pertinent to note that both parties myself and Billz Vision had an amicable resolution on this and appreciate each other for the opportunity of working together. We would, therefore, want the general public to respect our decision herein and take note of the same,” part of the statement reads.

Fresh reports is now alleging that though both parties claim the split is mutual, but they actually had a brutal fight that resulted in the split.

SDK reports that all is not well between both parties, stating that Tee Billz got a full dose of Tacha penultimate week after he advised and cautioned her for something she did but she insulted the living daylights out of him.

The report read;

Insiders allege that Tunji Balogun a.k.a Teebilz (who picked up Tacha and decided to manage her when she got out of BBNaija house and faced rejection because of her attitude) got a dose of Tacha last week when he offered advice and cautioned her for something she did and she went South on him and insulted the living daylights out of him….

They say Teebilz threatened to drop her and Tacha immediately informed him that she was no longer Interested in working with him hence this press release.

They whisper that Teebilz is shocked and disappointed in Tacha but may not come out to say what happened because he was warned but decided to take the risk…….

Popular Ghanaian Slay Queen, Queen Farcadi has opened up on why she went into prostitution.

In an interview with Delay, the 24-year-old Ghanaian socialite opened up on sleeping with several men from different countries said she went into prostitution because she is lazy and can’t work.

In her words;

I met this girl when she was in 400 level. At that time I was already making good money from my business.

As a business person that I am, the relationship was quite distant but I have always provide for everything she needs.

When she talked about throwing a big party to celebrate her 25th birthday I agreed and promised to assist financially to make everything memorable for her.

If I’m not mistaken I splashed roughly 3 million Naira on the birthday thing. Anyways, that’s what I had to do for love.

On the day gan-gan, I had already planned with my friends to propose to her at the venue, so we all pull up with the intention to pull a surprise marriage proposal at my babe’s birthday party.

The party was on, everybody was already in the party mood, my friend’s and I decided that we will enter the party venue in the middle of the groove to carryout my marriage proposal plan in grand style.

As we got to the venue, we heard an unusual scream, the crowd at the venue seem to be overly excited at something at that moment. What could that be?

Curiosity made my friends and I move faster and closer to the venue at least to see what is going on so we can double the excitement with my marriage proposal.

On getting there what I saw was a terrible thing. I saw a guy bending the knee with ring in his hands in front of my own babe.

The guy asked with confidence, will you marry me, my babe answered Yes with so much excitement.

I don’t know when my own ring fell from my suit, friends didn’t let her know I was around.

One thought was telling me to scatter the party, destroy the cakes and everything I have bought and another mind was telling something else.

It was in the midst of these heatbreaking thoughts that I got whisked away by my friends.

That day was the most terrible day of my life.

Both of them proved their points, but then let’s argue it here

Currently, the economic condition is quite alarming and everybody seems to cherish every penny they have at hand.

Let me quickly share with you this scenario of what happened to my friend in school.

He had been disturbing his parents to send him some token of 5k to finish up his project due the challenges from his project supervisor and they kept posting him.

Eventually, he got an alert 2days ago and he quickly went to the nearest ATM to withdraw so he could submit the last chapter to his supervisor before he proceeds.

Unfortunately, the supervisor was not on seat and he had to come back the next day.

Suddenly! Suddenly! On his way home he misplaced the 5k and my guy was crying bitterly, I’m surprised someone can cry because of that amount.
