Feminist history is seriously over-simplified... in actuality there is no historic oppression that women had to face that men did not have an equal or greater burden.

Everyone suffered in the past, not just females.

For example women were not allowed to vote in 1919, but niether were the 18 yr old boys who fought in WW1, and neither were the middle age landless males who were drafted to die in wars for the last 2000 years.

And secondly, if women were seen as so silly in the past why do we have a plethora of beloved female leaders like; Queen Elizabeth, Catherine the great, etc etc
