Maybe there will be a Nasmalt drinking bash afterwards. Hahahaha! {Abeg, pardon my naughtiness o)! |
Sodaqta. The story is really one of my all-time favorites. |
••• REWARD OF GOOD DEEDS ••• ♥ Qari Muhammad Qayyam (may the mercy of Allah be upon him) related that a great deal of fighting and bloodshed had started prior to the Indo-Pakistan partition of 1947. He said that a very beautiful daughter of a very rich man in a certain community stepped out of her house to visit her aunt, who lived no more than a few streets away. Suddenly a riot erupted as she had gone halfway and she found herself trapped with apparently nowhere to go. She saw a Masjid nearby and quickly went inside, sitting in the women’s section. The rioting continued late into the night and this girl did not know what to do. The custodian of the Masjid was a very young student there and late at night when he walked through the Masjid before locking up he noticed this beautiful young lady. He was a respectful young man who feared Allah and so politely asked her to leave, saying that if she was found there then both would be dishonored and thrown out. She pleaded with him because of the extreme danger outside and so he agreed that she could spend the night, and sat down to study at the opposite end of the masjid. The girl was unable to sleep with the events of the day in her mind and so watched the young man sitting studying by candle light at the opposite end of the masjid. She kept watching him and was very surprised at something she saw. From time to time this young man would extend his hand and keep it over the open flame, only withdrawing it when the flame obviously became unbearable. He then would resume his studies and continued this throughout the night until the dawn broke. The young man called the Adhan and asked the girl to leave before the congregation started coming to pray since now everything was calm outside. She agreed on the condition that he tell her why he was placing his hand on the candle flame throughout the night. The young man said that that was his own business and so the girl refused to leave until he told her what she wanted to know. The young man gave in and said, “I am at the age of youth and strong desire. We were alone and my desire was increasing, and although I was studying the Devil (Shaitan) would occasionally put temptation in my heart. Hence whenever I would feel any temptation I would put my hand on the flame and my fingers would burn. I would say to myself that this flame is nothing compared to the fire of Hell.” The girl left the Masjid and reached home, calming her parents’ fears as to what had happened to her. She also confided in her mother that she wanted to marry the custodian of the Masjid near their house. She related the night’s events to her parents and said that only such a man with true fear of Allah in his heart can be true to his wife. Only such a man who truly fears Allah can fulfill a wife’s rights properly. Hence the poor custodian of the Masjid earned the daughter of a rich household in marriage. He received this honor not because of his looks but because of his character. Everything disintegrates and turns to dust but character remains strong. Honor is not bestowed because of handsome clothes or beautiful jewelry but because of what is in the heart. Knowledge is only beneficial when it is captured within the heart, and not merely written in books. ★ [ DON'T FORGET TO SHARE ] ★ = (Haseeb) |
As for those calling for we, Nigerians to entirely ostracize the northeners cos of what BH is doing, I must say that argument is insincere, null and void. Until the clampdown by Dora's NAFDAC, do you know how many lives were lost to fake food and drugs that were handiwork of majorly Easterners? Why didn't you call for us to ostracize the entire Easterners? Let's stop being sentimentally and irrationally tribalistic, abeg. It's sickening! |
@Bobandgreat, your argument is totally invalid. For your argument to make sense, we have to say Obama should have let Osama go on freely, withoug haunting him down, just because he didn't want crisis to follow his killing. Is that your point? |

The ones that suggested solutions, didn't you all rubbish them? Go sleep jare. |
thelastPope: Are you a LASU graduate? You probably are a brother to "oga at the top". What are you typing? You're slow in reasoning, that must be your problem. Those men that were killed unjustifiably don't have sons, nephews, cousins brothers, e.t.c., that are out to avenge their mentors death? It's double-standard for you to justify the militants' actions. If you don't know, it is criminal to demand for justice through extremely violent means. Are you saying innocent lives were not lost in the crossfire between militants and JTF? Infact, you sound criminal. Smh! |
@brunnet, so, what has come out of Mr. Hussein Deidei's interrogation? He has revealed Buhari and Tinubu are his accomplices? |
@Demdem, Now, that's a sensible point. Why haven't they be arrested? Are they also 'sacred cows' like the ones GEJ alleged are in his Government? I really don't understand the kind of youths we have in this nation. Thanks for standing out. |
thelastPope: You are clearly an iddiot! If the Niger Delta militants' evil way of asking for justice could be so commonised, I think you should understand what he means by minor. Except... And you should try check out that Al-jazeera clip that showed how 'suspected BH members' were brutally, humiliatingly and unjustifiably killed on the open streets in 2009, maybe you'll understand that some hithero 'innocent boys' joined BH's terror for vengeance purposes. So? |
TechyGuy: And I thought the other opposition supporters were terrible.... you are probably feeling like you made sense.Your point? |
The mad who made this statement has a right to his opinion. If he is insinuating the APC will tackle the roots of the BH terror, rather than throw away money on fake intelligence, what makes his opinion wrong? |
Techy(dumb)guy, why do you argue like your brain has been severally recycled? The Sultan, Tinubu, e.t.c., have called for amnesty cos Mr. President has stuck to an approach that has not only failed, but has gulped several billions of tax-payers money. They call for amnesty cos of the innocent people that will still likely lose their lives due to Mr. President's obvious cluelessness in tackling the menance. Are you seriously this dumb? Do you think they (the pro-amnesty people) don't know that the BH is finanancially buoyant? Help ask your paymaster (GEJ) to give us a detailed breakdown of how the billions allegedly pumped in to fight BH has been utilized. Orji Uzor Kalu accused the security agents of complicity in the bombings; it means he's a BH sponsor too? While those men were calling for amnesty, what did Mr. CAN President suggest as way forward? He calls on Christians to retaliate. That's a better suggestion, abi? You're critically sick! |
grafikii: we should expect another oga at the top videoThis one's drama was worse than that of 'Oga at the top'. Did you see the manner he was laughing like a slowpoke and playing dumb to some questions he could not readily answer? What a joke! |
Security agents, not Boko Haram behind bombings -Orji Uzor Kalu. The Drama unfolds... No wonder there won't be any consideration of amnesty for 'faceless people'. The die is cast... http://www.informationng.com/2013/03/security-agents-not-boko-haram-behind-bombings-uzor-kalu.html |
Who is currently watching the drama on Channels TV? Abeg, what's your take? |
John Obuh is a confirmed failure. #Datz all! |
I just hope he doesn't commit suicide:-D |
deols: Okay o. We have hear.thank youThank you for that crucial addition, Hajia Deols. That's why we're humans... Limited scope of reasoning. |
Imagine this kain funny matter o- He has dated the lady for eight years running now. Abracadabra, the lady suddenly says she doesn't want him again. They should just be friends:-D. The guy no fit take am mana. He is now seeking help to win her love back. He says he can't just let go.:-O Chei! Nawah o! You still fancy courtship over early marriage? |
Subhanallah! In this era of a President who had no shoes, I was shocked to see a little boy trekking a long distance home from school on bare foot on a very hot afternoon. Despite wearing a comfortable footwear, I could still feel the heat beneath my feet. Imagine what this very young boy must have been enduring then. Indeed! We don't have leaders anymore, we only have liars, crooks and tyrants... I hope you are not one of them in your own capacity? Remember the Prophet (PBUH) taught us that among the seven categories of people that will be under the unique shade of Almighty Allah (SWT) on the Day when people's own sweat will envelope them, is the just leader. That leadership post you occupy is an Amaanah (Trust) from Allah, bestowed upon you. So, you had better wake up from the illusion that the position you occupy only accords you privileges over others. You will surely account for it. So, whenever you feel like abusing your position or neglecting your duties as a leader, just remember THE SHADE! |
DEAR OH DEAR SISTER (SOBER REFLECTION) Please, read, reflect and act! (Inquirer) Dear oh dear sister in faith, I heard you have eventually moved in with that Rascal? Whom you had discreetly been hanging out with; You are both now officially an unwedded live-in couple; You will now fulfill all duties of a ‘wife’ to him; Including having intimate sessions with him as married couples would do; Not to forget you have had a couple of abortions for his sake. Unsurprisingly, you parents don’t even know he exists; In fact, they are not aware you have moved from your hostel. I also learnt you don’t even know any of his family; They don’t know you either, if at all they even exist. Anyway, you are fulfilled that you eventually moved in with your dream guy; You really must be the luckiest girl on Campus at the moment; Your friends have all had failed relationships, only you stand out; Why wouldn’t you celebrate, you wonder! Some even believe he gets his cash through shady means; But, he is living up to the task of paying all your bills; That is the most important thing for now. Well, people can continue to think or say whatever they like; Seriously, they are just probably jealous of your ‘good fortune’; This is a match made in Heaven, you feel! Haters should keep hating ; While you keep shining. But, let me ask you this very important question You really think he is in love with you? (Respondent) Uhmm……. well…….let me see…… Sure! Sure! He really does love me! He gets me the most expensive gifts, without me asking; He doesn’t hesitate to buy me the trendy things en vogue; Talk about classy outfits, shoes, bags, jewelries, perfumes; just name it! He takes me on fun and adventurous trips regularly; I have suddenly become the gossip topic for those jobless girls; Infact, he really fulfills all my fantasies of a gorgeous lifestyle. The most interesting part is that he doesn’t complain; And do not forget he bears a Muslim name; I think he is from a Muslim home. (Inquirer) Indeed, interesting. But, let me tell you what I feel: I believe he doesn’t really love you that much; You are probably just his latest ‘catch’; He is probably using you as a willing tool to fulfill his lustful fantasies; And when he is able to get hold of another ‘fresh fish’; He will arrange for you to make a mistake; This will be the premise for sending you packing; Then, you will become a cheap ‘second-hand’ material for the next guy. It is also obvious that his Islam is probably not for real; It just might be a trick to lure you in, which he has succeeded in doing; He neglects the Solah, smokes, drinks, flirts and gets involved in all kinds of vices. No! No! No! My dear sister, you deserve a better life than this; You are a rare gem of honor and great value; You should have been patient for the right man to take you as a wife; In the most appropriate and befitting manner; This is not a legal matrimony, it is a deceitful mirage. This shouldn’t have been you at all. (Respondent) Yes, I agree. You have a point really But, you know he caters for my tuition fees and other expenses; In fairness to him, he has really been good to me Really! Is that all it took for you to surrender your precious dignity? (Respondent) No! No! No o! It is not what you think ***** (sobbing quietly now) ***** ***** (in a very sober tone) ***** I used to be a good and very decent girl from a disciplined background; I was the envy of my peers in the neighborhood; Because I was the reference point for good manners and an unstained character; With dreams of a bright future as a professional in my field; I had envisioned a happy home, with a responsible husband and lovely kids; I was indeed positively ambitious and was on track to building a happy future for myself. My parents were also very willing to support me all the way; But, the major stumbling block was finance; Our family practically lived from hand to mouth; I struggled all through my elementary and secondary school days; It wasn’t an easy journey at all; But my will, zeal and determination to succeed kept pushing me through. Here, in the University, things only got harder; It was almost as if I was fighting a lost battle; The light at the end of the tunnel was getting too dim; Until this so-called ‘Rascal’ came in. He had everything I wanted and he taunted me with them; I had vowed to keep my dignity intact; But he kept pushing and pushing; I was already reaching a dead end; I had to make a very crucial decision quick; My stellar academic performance and determination alone could no longer win the battle; I went with the only option left open to me- to lay down my dignity and womanly pride; For a greater good, I thought. It was a very bitter pill to swallow at the beginning; But I convinced myself as time went by that I had made the ‘right’ decision. (Inquirer) Hmmmn! (heavy sigh) But, you should have gotten in touch with fellow Muslims around; The sisters especially could have supported you financially and morally; That should have saved you this mess you have gotten yourself into. (Respondent) ***** (a long pause, obviously in deep thought) ***** ***** (in a very much bitter and sorrowful tone now) ***** You really think I didn’t consider that option? The truth is that I had tried to seek a Muslimah who could accommodate me without paying rent; Surprisingly, majority of the Jilbaab-wearing sisters I tried to associate with despised me; They obviously scorned me because I was a scarf-wearing Muslimah (female Muslim); They probably did not feel comfortable with being in the company of a ‘scarfite’ in Public. I had hoped to improve on my deen, if they could allow me be in their company; But they hardly gave me any chance; Infact, they hardly said the teslim (Islamic salutation) to me; Only few acknowledged my teslim and responded to it; This few will not as much as offer me even a fake smile; Nobody was concerned about my welfare as a fresher on Campus; I was in a world of my own, all alone. I had thought the Muslim Student Society’s orientation week program will provide me a respite; But, it was just an obvious routine formality- all talk, talk and talk; I kept visiting the Society’ secretariat severally for assistance on accommodation and other things; But, it was all about promises that were never fulfilled. I eventually had to live with some immoral girls I met I class; They catered for all my feeding and other sundry expenses; They always complimented me as been very beautiful and well-endowed; And urged me severally to ‘utilize’ my beauty very well; They told me I had to use what I had to get what I want; They eventually linked me up with this present guy; I had to move on because they had done more than enough for me; And this is how I became an ‘overnight slave-wife/toy’. (Inquirer) So, you mean our admirable sisters in Islam didn’t care when it was most needed? (Respondent) Yes, they didn’t care! (Inquirer) And the entire Muslim Ummah on Campus too? (Respondent) Everyone was less concerned… Nobody cared…Nobody cares!!! Subhanallah! Allahu Akbar! ***** (uncontrolled wailing) ***** *****************************THE END********************************* NOTES Dear Brethren in faith, this is the crux of the matter. This reality-like fictional dialogue is not to rubbish the personality of our lovely sisters or our Muslim Ummah as a whole. It serves to open our eyes to the biting reality in our higher institutions of learning. There are two incidents that motivated me to write this piece: • The first was on one of our usual visitations to hostels around our student-dominated Masjid. These visits afforded us the opportunity to meet and interact with Muslims in these hostels who didn’t usually come to the mosque to observe their Solah or who had stop coming regularly, so as to convince them to change their attitude for good. In one of the hostels we visited on that particular day, we met a lot of Muslim brothers who didn’t even observe their Solah at all. They were also alcoholics. That was the first time they had such visit, because the hostel was indeed very far. We had interacted very nicely with them to the point that they were very sober, and they asked for our support in helping them build a ‘Mini’ Masjid nearby, since our Masjid was very far away. After our deliberations, they pointed out a young Muslim lady to us who didn’t even look like such at all. We were admonishing her when one Rascal interrupted and queried us on why we were talking to his ‘girlfriend’. He alleged he had sent her on an errand to buy soup ingredients she was to cook with for him. He said we should end the talk, because we were delaying her. Sadly, the guy was a non-Muslim, a drunkard and even probably a fraudster. He spoke to us arrogantly like the lousy brat he was as if he had bought her from her parents. While the whole drama was going on, the lady was unashamedly blushing, without saying anything. She was obviously under the spell of his cash; you really had to pity her parents when you heard stories on how ‘useless’ she had become. Sad! • The other was when I challenged a carefree sister on why she refused to dress and behave properly as a Muslimah should, despite hearing various admonitions and the other. She hilariously responded that a Jilbaab-wearing sister (the ones well covered) had confided in her that Muslim brothers hardly considered them when it came to selecting a spouse… what more could I say? INFERENCE/RECOMMENDATIONS The sad state of our Ummah and our nation at large currently is partly due to the fact that we have failed to develop our women, who are the bedrock of ideal leaders of tomorrow. There is that popular saying: “build a man, build an individual; build a woman, build a Nation”. We have forgotten that our female folks are emotionally and mentally weak. They require the utmost care and moral support they can get. We leave them to blossom on their own, thinking they are strong enough. This has continued to be our undoing. Let us face reality; a woman will always be a woman in basic mode of reasoning, regardless of the religious height she has attained. Do we expect a Jilbaab or Niqab-wearing sister to be flawless just because of her spiritual height? No! She will still have moments she will reason like a baby, just like in the second example above. But, where is the moral support for them? Non-existent. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Treat women well. The woman was created from a rib. The most bent part of the rib is the top part. If you try to straighten it, you will break it. If you leave it, it remains bent. So treat women well." [Agreed upon]. Our role model Prophet (PBUH) was well known to be easy on the women, as reported in various narrations. This is because he was well aware of their weakness and dependence. Even his wives (may Allah be pleased with them all) that were most pious; he (PBUH) handled them with care. Subsequently, these are my recommendations for stake-holders involved in this matter: • MUSLIM STUDENTS SOCIETIES/ASSOCIATIONS For Allah’s sake, let us focus our financial support programs and developmental efforts more on the sisters. They are the vulnerable group in our society. Let us also learn to follow up on our orientation programs, we should devise a means of tracking the progress or otherwise of the fresh students, especially the sisters, to avoid them falling into temptations. Let us note that it is easier for the brothers to hustle and cater for themselves than it is for our sisters. We should also try to liaise with female staffers in our schools, to make themselves available for counseling and mentoring of our sisters at all times. We should regularly bring them in to give pep-talks to our female folks. It shouldn’t be a quarterly or annual affair. The female staffers should as well encourage the sisters to feel free to walk up to them at any time to open up on what is bothering them. • SISTERS You are very wonderful people, and we appreciate your sacrifice. We will really appreciate it more if you look beyond the mistakes of one another and unite as one strong body, just like our righteous female predecessors did. You know there is strength in unity. Please, help one another to grow in Islam. Remember The Prophet said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 12). • OUR MARRIED SISTERS This is a special plea to us, especially to you the Jilbaab or Niqab sisters. Let us learn to be selfless. Being married does not mean you should totally disconnect from the unmarried ones you once were with. Please, try and keep in touch with them regularly. We should share experiences that will motivate and encourage them to stay firm and strong till the right brother comes around. Share useful tips with them that will help them develop their faith. Above all these, encourage your husbands to choose second, third and fourth wives, especially from among sisters that are not very strong in faith. This way, you can motivate them towards striving for Jannah as you are doing. I know this is not easy, but there is Rahma in sharing. So, do this as a Jihad for the sake of Allah. And Inshaa Allah, you won’t regret it. • OTHERS "Women are your mothers, daughters, aunts." - Prophet Muhammad. I, the author of this, pledge to do my utmost best to defend and uphold the rights, honor and dignity of our Muslimahs, as well as motivate and support our Muslimahs to attain Jannah, to the best of my capacity, within the limits and confines of the Shari’ah of Islam. And may Allah help me. Whenever I fall short of this, may Allah guide me back to my pledge. What about you? May Allah ease our affairs and forgive us all of our shortcomings… Amiin. All benefits in this work are ascribed duly to Allah, all errors in it are the author’s undoing and are deeply regretted. All perfection is due to Allah alone. As salamu ‘alaykum warahmotulahi wabarokatu. VERSES TO PONDER UPON “The Mu’minoon are but a single Brotherhood.” (The Holy Qur’an, 49:10) “The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin the ma`roof (all of Islam), and forbid the munkar (all that is evil; kufr): they observe regular prayers, pay Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise.” (The Holy Qur’an, 9:71) Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu `alaihi wa sallam) indicated in several Ahadith on unity and brotherhood as we can see in his (saaws) Farewell Sermon (khuTbat ul-wadaa`): “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.” "A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not oppress him, nor does he leave him at the mercy of others." (Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6219) The Prophet said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself." (Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 12). http://knowledgecycle./2013/03/25/dear-oh-dear-sister-sober-reflection/

As salamu 'alaykum, dear brothers and sisters. Passionate appeal to myself and us all... For Allah's sake, let us ABSOLUTELY desist from sharing or rebroadcasting anti-Islam posts that are authored by low-lifers, whose intentions are to gain cheap popularity by attacking arguably the most popular Religion in the world (considering the amount of attention it gets), Islam. The only exception to this is when we have the refutation of the false claims in such posts from learned scholars. Atimes, when we share these posts on Islamic forums, our intentions are to seek opinions of our Muslim brethen, but remember the members of these forums aren't scholars; they only publicize the fatwa of scholars. Consider this- if someone accuses your family lineage of being a generation of rogues, do you publicize such on social networks to disprove it? No! Therefore, we should only seek the opinion of scholars PRIVATELY on such issues and then post the refutation of the lies in them as a rejoinder. May Allah forgive us all. |
REMEMBER Whenever you are tempted to nag your husband for that your dream Prado Jeep, even though your Golf car is still in good condition, remember those whose major priority for the past five years has been how to gather money for a second-hand bicycle; Whenever you are tempted to fight your husband for his inability to move you into a duplex, even when you know his capacity is not yet beyond the self-contain apartment you both currently reside in, remember those who have never had the privilege of sleeping in a roofed-house for just a night; Whenever you are tempted to drive to that pub to get some shots into your system, remember those who have died from drunk-driving; Whenever you are tempted to take your own life because you can ‘no longer go on’, remember those who have been on life-support for the past decade or more, and whose loved ones never give up on; Whenever you are tempted to take another man’s life for no just cause, remember you are not assured of the next breathe yourself; Whenever you are tempted to abort that baby in your tummy, remember the great courage and perseverance it took for your mother to keep you, despite the troubles you gave her in those nine months she accommodated you in her tummy and the fact she was well aware of how painful your delivery will be; Whenever you are tempted to take just one more puff of that cigar, remember those cancer victims who spend their last few moments on earth always wishing there was cure for lung cancer; Whenever you are tempted to flaunt ‘those things your momma gave you’, remember those who have been confined to voluntary house arrest because of breast cancer; Whenever you are tempted to show the world how glowing your skin is in those revealing outfits, remember those who would be willing to cover it all up, if only it will cure them of skin cancer; Whenever you are tempted to hit on the next hooker for a quick round of lustful adventure, remember those who wish the hands of time could be reversed so that they could prevent the dreaded HIV they have been diagnosed of; Whenever you feel like cheating on your ever innocent and faithful wife, remember those who are irredeemably impotent; Whenever you feel like giving up on catering for the welfare of your son because of his unruly and disgraceful character, remember those who would wish they could at least live under the same roof with their son who currently occupies a bed at the psychiatric home; Whenever you feel like giving up sponsoring your dullard of a daughter, remember those who have to reluctantly give up their own to live at the home of the intellectually impaired children. Whenever you are tempted to feed your eyes on that ‘hot babe’ or that illicit and sinful content, remember those who don’t have the opportunity of just a second to see how beautiful the environment around them is; Whenever you are tempted to backbite or gossip on your neighbor, remember those whose mouth have been sealed up forever from uttering just one word; Whenever you are tempted to listen to those forbidden tunes/lyrics or slanderous and derogatory comments about your fellow, remember those whose ears cannot even appreciate a well delivered speech, not to talk of lewd speech; Whenever you are tempted to utilize your high IQ in bringing down an innocent fellow or plotting evil against him, remember those that are brain-dead; Whenever you are tempted to physically assault someone who has offended you, even one you have the option of patience, remember those who are lying helplessly on a hospital bed and don’t even have the power to drive away a ply irritatingly perched on their nose; Whenever you are tempted to do anything you want with your life, in disobedience of the commandments of your Creator, Provider and Sustainer, remember those who have lost their lives against their own will; Whenever you are tempted to squander that extra cash on frivolities, remember the hungry children of Africa whose continued survival depends on tips from well-meaning people of the world; Whenever you are tempted to rape that defenseless lady, remember when you will be just as defenseless when the pangs of death grip you; Whenever you are tempted to maltreat that helpless orphan child, remember how helpless you will be before the Angels in your grave; Whenever you are tempted to go dance with some strange lady at some all night-out party, whilst you abandon your faithful wife alone in bed, remember those who don’t have the legs for such dance; Whenever you are tempted to pick up your pen and outline how to blackmail that incorruptible man of high values and morals or that virtuous woman who has refused you extra-marital sex, remember those who don’t have the hand to even hold a pen; Whenever you feel like calling a bluff of the laws and commandments of your Lord because you feel they are to “strict”, remember you are presently occupying a zone that He created and you have nowhere else where He doesn’t own to run to; Whenever you are tempted to deny the existence of your Lord, remember it was not by your choice you came into existence; Whenever you are tempted to live a tyrant and sinful lifestyle, remember there is no one that can save you from the wrath of your Lord if He decides to seize you with a heavy torment; Whenever you are tempted to deny the meeting with your Lord, remember you cannot escape death when it calls, and you don’t even have a say in when it should come for you; Whenever you deny there will be a Day of Recompense as promised by your Lord, remember to ask yourself how those who were cheated, oppressed and unjustly killed in this world would get justice they were denied by the laws of men; So, when the temptations come, just remember and remember again that you will give an account of your time in this world before the Almighty uncreated, all-powerful Creator who gave you the chance of coming to this universe… It is Inevitable! Qur'an 49:13 Surah Al-Hujurat O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). Qur'an 4:1 Surah An-Nisaa O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord Who created you from a single person created of like nature his mate and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women; reverence Allah through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights) and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allah ever watches over you. Qur'an 2:21-24 Surah Al-Baqarah O ye people! adore your Guardian-Lord who created you and those who came before you that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness. Who has made the earth your couch and the heaven your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth). And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant then produce a Surah like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (if there are any) besides Allah if your (doubts) are true. But if ye cannot and of a surety ye cannot then fear the fire whose fuel is Men and Stones which is prepared for those who reject Faith. Qur'an 4:174-175 Surah An-Nisaa (The Women) O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: for We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest. Then those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him soon will He admit them to Mercy and Grace from Him and guide them to Himself by a straight Way. Qur’an 24:41-42 Surah An-Nur Have you not seen that unto Allah glorifies whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings outspread (in their flight)? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah is Aware of what they do." And unto Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah is the ultimate return (of all). Qur'an 10:57-60 Surah Yunus (Jonah) O mankind! there hath come to you a direction from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts and for those who believe a Guidance and a Mercy. Say: "In the Bounty of Allah and in His Mercy in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. Say: "See ye what things Allah hath sent down to you for sustenance? Yet ye hold forbidden some things thereof and (some things) lawful." Say: "Hath Allah indeed permitted you or do ye invent (things) to attribute to Allah?" And what think those who invent lies against Allah of the Day of Judgment? Verily Allah is full of Bounty to mankind but most of them are ungrateful. Qur'an 4:132-134 Surah An-Nisaa (The Women) Yea unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth and enough is Allah to carry through all affairs. If it were His will He could destroy you O mankind and create another race: for He hath power this to do. If anyone desires a reward in this life in Allah's (gift) is the reward (both) of this life and of the Hereafter: for Allah is He that heareth and seeth (all things). Qur'an 35:3-7 Surah Fatir O men! call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! Is there a Creator other than Allah to give you Sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth? And if they reject thee so were apostles rejected before thee: to Allah go back for decision all affairs. O men! certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire. For those who reject Allah is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds is Forgiveness and a magnificent Reward. Qur'an 7:3-5 Surah Al-A'raf Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from your Lord and follow not as friends or protectors other than Him. Little it is ye remember of admonition. How many towns have We destroyed (for their sins)? Our punishment took them on a sudden by night or while they slept for their afternoon rest. When (thus) our punishment took them no cry did they utter but this "indeed we did wrong." Qur'an 82:6-19 Surah Al-Infitar O man! what has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent? Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion and gave thee a just bias; In whatever Form He wills does He put thee together. Nay! but ye do Reject Right and Judgment! But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you Kind and honorable writing down (your deeds): They know (and understand) all that ye do. As for the Righteous they will be in Bliss; And the Wicked they will be in the Fire Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment. And they will not be Able to keep away therefrom. And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? Again what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: for the Command that Day will be (wholly) with Allah. Qur'an 22:1-8 Surah Al-Hajj O mankind! fear your Lord! For the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible! The Day ye shall see it every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah. And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah without knowledge and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion! About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship him will he lead astray and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire. O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection (consider) that We created you out of dust then out of sperm then out of a leech-like clot then out a morsel of flesh partly formed and partly unformed in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term then do We bring you out as babes then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die and some are sent back to the feeblest old age so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further) thou seest the earth barren and lifeless but when We pour down rain on it it is stirred (to life) it swells and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). This is so because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead and it is He Who has power over all things. And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves. Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah without knowledge without guidance and without a Book of Enlightenment. Qur'an 7:158 Surah Al-A'raf Say (O Muhammad): "O men! I am sent unto you all as the apostle of Allah to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He that giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His apostle the unlettered Prophet who believed in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided." Qur'an 17:88-89 Surah Al-Israa Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an they could not produce the like thereof even if they backed up each other with help and support. And We have explained to man in this Qur'an every kind of similitude: yet the grater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude! TO ALLAH BELONG ALL THE GLORY AND DOMINION… http://knowledgecycle./2013/03/22/remember-2/ |

Ironically, those of you of the 'anti-amnesty' clique, all you have put forward is talk and more talk, just like President Ebele. The tone of your arguments suggests the JTF should keep fighting a lost war, at the expense of defenceless citizens, who are the pawns caught in the crossfire of a supremacy battle between JTF and BH. Save your breath and follow: The situation now is that the JTF goes on a killing spree of 'BH suspects' whenever they lose some of their officers. Nobody cares if the 'alleged suspects' are guilty or not. Infact, they are sometimes killed just to prove to 'Oga at the top' that the JTF is judiciously utilizing the huge cash invested in them. The BH guys in return, go on a killing rampage of the defenceless people on the streets. If they are 'lucky' atimes, they get to gun down their 'enemies', the security agents. These are just for them to prove that they are superior to the JTF. Who are those at the receiving end, eventually? The helpless citizens of course! Is that winning the war? |
Mashaa Allah. Very lovely piece. Thanks for sharing. |
POC: The Hadith should never be relegated to secondary status when giving an Islamic ruling. It's just like saying hot water is secondary to garri in the process of making a standard quantity of eba. Let's duly note that. The Prophet (PBUH) reportedly said in an authentic narration that, 'Allah has given me the Qur'an and something like it.' Allah also informs us severally in the Qur'an that the Prophet (PBUH) will never speak of his own volition, except of what is revealed to him. Hence, the proof. May Allah guide us all... Amiin. |
Fantastica! Kudos and Gracîas! |
