The last tenure implemented what is called Treasury Single Account. Hoping it's will bring a lot of reforms.. Who knows if it reduced corruption cuz definitely it didn't clear it.
Your emphasis on this is pointless... being a police officer anywhere in the world regardless of pay is a risky job.
There are other units in the police force less risky than the other..if you are bothered about Ipob and their criminality.. police officers have the liberty of working a transfer to another state or safer environment.. There are thousands of officers in Lagos, Abuja etc that are not indigenous to that region..
Plus the capture of kanu and the uprise against Ipob by both the FG and imo/anambra state governments have made the SE a bit calm compared to previous years where criminals were encouraged to attack security personnel..
Lastmessenger2: why are you so stupid and lacking simple understanding? Most Igbo youths cannot slave themselves for a 60k paramilitary or military job however when its comes to graduate recruitment which has the potential for one to become a general in the army Igbo's are not lacking. So stop spewing rubbish here. Its not possible to be a general when you joined the army with SSCE.
There are thousands of Igbos in under developed regions with SSCE that earn less than minimum wage...they can take opportunity of this..
It's not like they are going to be stucked with 60k ..they will eventually be promoted.. moreover we can't ignore their usual bribery and settlement that could make up more than their salary..plus pension for life and gratitude paid..
