West Africa's First Electric Trains Now Operating in Lagos.
The Lagos Blue line is a 27km light rail linking Marina to Okokomaiko.
It's first which runs from Mile 2 to Marina, about 13km long with 5 stations is now open for public use.

The tracks features a third rail electrification system which powers the trains. Power comes from an independent power supply (IPP), and interrupted power supply (UPS) and a public power supply. All of these systems work hand in hand to ensure constant power supply on the rails.

Those hangars have to go if FAAN wants international airlines to use the new terminal.
After severals months in use only about 3 or 4 airlines use that terminal.the rest use the old and smelling terminal.

The Kano-Maradi Railway which links Nigeria with Niger republic has commenced construction.
This rail line is anticipated to be Nigeria’s longest standard gauge rail line, And by far the most expensive rail project ever.
At over 400 kilometers in length, the new rail line connects 3 Nigerian states. Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states as well as traverses the border all the way to Maradi in Niger republic.

Asphalt road life spans is about 17 years..this is when the entire road will need a overhaul..
Due to our reckless drivers and climates..it only make sense that after half a decade .. some minor wear and tear requiring maintenance will occur .this is when minor repairs can be carried out .umahi is guaranteeing that it won't happen until after atleast 6 years for each road constructed..

3rd mainland is a practical example every administration always carry out new asphalt laying... This means that generally it under goes maintenance every 8 years simply because of the high vehicular movement no because the contractors aren't doing a good job


Definitely the standard of roads being executed by different companies are different...I am very sure the road JB is doing Abuja Kaduna kano highway will not show any sign of minor maintenance for atleast a decade..
