All the businesses that increased their prices because the dollar rates were so high a few days back trading at nearly 1300 will not go back to normal. |
SoNature:Who told you...he was borrowing to strengthen the naira..the CBN is only clearing pending fx payments in LC.. businesses that are owned are now receiving their dollar from CBN hence lower demand from the black market.. It's when the CBN begins to run out of USD To settle demands then we go back to square one |
This is no suprise.. However is demolishing the project that was funded with loans the rest forward? Meanwhile these are the top upcoming mega city projects in Africa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnUWTWmZStw |
CLRF:But what you claim is a big fat lie.. Dangote no longer produce flour .. being it wheat or what so ever.. Why can't you accuse flour mills and BUA who produce wheat flour of nt trying to grow wheat on desert. Dangote is into sugar and as thousands of hectare of land for sugar cane farming in nasarawa and Adamawa State |
Possessedkid:Who stop other cement manufacturers to produce.. Don't you mention ibeto cuz he never produced anything but Imported and rebag |
Yankee101:Your point exactly? Is that one man going to swallow it or refine it |
FitCorper:When the host country doesn't have enough crude to sell.. What do you expect him to do. NNPC won't sustain all these refinery...they couldn't sustain the modular refineries..is it a 650,000bpd refinery they will sustain... They will rather sell to foreign clients to earn USD.. except dangote agrees to pay USD for petrol which means it will be quite expensive for Nigerians that will be buying the end products in naira |
spartachico:Alot of Deluded Nigerians did ... This is just regional security agency.. imagine when it becomes state by state |
spartachico:What is rubbish about it... Are you not amongst the confused folks calling for state / regional police or security group. ![]() Y'all got what you wanted |
alpharoyalty:What Do you want FG To do against a state established entity...it is backed by state law...same as Lagos with KIA, and LSNC |
Normal.. However why do they need to import equipment.i thought maintenance are also awarded to contractors who wil likely have the equipments https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnUWTWmZStw |

Diligence:Yen yen.. Ibeto that doesn't even have a plant... People sef |
Basicend:The thing you guys don't understand is this... In this new era.. No administration can allow emotions get in the way when some one is willing to lay down billions of investment into any sector... Government is truly in dire need of investors..they will do anything to attract them..tax waiver, access to land, swift approvals etc... The small and fragile new companies will just use this as an opportunity to start business..the Big Wolves and Tigers will use such opportunity to dominate.. that's where BUA and Dangote comes in... Let me tell you a little story.. Did you know that Obasanjo did something similar to attract alot of investors in Nigeria..He began selling rotting but highly attractive government factories and companies..trust me ..small companies bought it..but the big dogs bought in mass..Dangote bought 2 cement plant (kogi and benue)..BUA brought sokoto plant ..a section of port Harcourt port.. almost bought Delta steel plc.. similar policies allowed Tony Elumelu to acquire Ughelli power plant.. Yar adua entered after Obasanjo..and Otedola, Dangote have almost perfected plans to buy warri and port Harcourt refinery.. Yar Adua..A slow thinking, naive and emotional man..with no justifiable reason reversed the process..let me tell you this for free.. if Dangote and Otedola succeeded in taking over those refineries..today..we won't be importing one drop of fuel.. and dollar won't go this high.. because we spend nearly half of all forex to import fuel..subsidies would have probably ended ever since.. One slight emotion made Yar Adua commit the most foolish act that is costing Nigeria till date.. he still went on to pay more subsidies during his time to reduce PMS prices.. So you want to tell me today that if government needs $50 bn in investment and lay out all the incentives to attract thousands of companies .. one man shows up and say ..I will commit $45 bn..and you expect government to take the Yar Adua way and ignore him...lol..dey play.. That is the same strategy Dangote used for his refinery.. FG owns 4 refinery with 445,00pbd total capacity.. since Yar Adua refuse to sell to Dangote.. he came back during the era of Jonathan when pms used to be scarce. ..and y'all were protesting.."we no gree oo we no go gree"... Dangote proposed a 650,000bpd single refinery which will supply all the products Nigerians need ( total control) .. even though it was a huge deal given a full sector to one man..which leader will not quickly approve it.. do you think investors are plenty out there for government to deny Dangote such deal... Nigerians have been importing fuel since independence..which company came and invested to change it? Please start Thinking..leave emotions and think.. |
Basicend:lol.. Tinubu will work with whoever is willing to invest in Nigeria..don't deceive yourself.. Dangote and Tinubu are no enemies.. How did Dangotr get lands to build his refinery in Lagos.. alot of companies were mentioned for tax weaver.. however you choose to single out Dangote.. hilarious.. Let me also point that BUA is not shaking anything or breaking anybody.. cement is still selling above 5k in Edo state where one of his cement plant is.. Go to an average cement supplier and find out how many sells BUA cement compared to that of Dangote .. all the production capacity of BUA cement factory is not up to ..Dangote cement in ibese...when their new line on stream ..their total capacity will just be around equal to Dangote cement Obajana plant..where as Dangote operates 3 more plants |
bewla:It is technically not possible |
TUANKU:It is easy for you to turn to constant insult if you have no facts to state .. Simple.. Mention anything BUA has done that surpasses Dangote.. You are here displaying your naive and premitive self.. When serious construction on a 200,000bpd refinery starts.. Nigerians will know.. Land clearing with bull dozer and community flag off is not start as far as I am consigned.. and if he has seriously started . good for BUA .. Cuz project of such size should have gotten atleast one media house attention... however.. stay in the lane.. Mention the philanthropic work of BUA that surpasses Dangote.. If you can't mention any then don't bother quoting.. Then I will know you are completely insane And emotional.. |
Flier:No body should be allowed to import it cuz there is no forex for that and there is self sufficiency in Nigeria.. however the effects won't be felt nation wide.. as Dangote and Lafarge still controll over 65% of the market |
Hehehe ![]() Sex doll senator |
Pakute:Rubbish..since when did governors appoint police officers in their state.. |
okooloyun1:Wahala |
clearcrystal:Normal.. he isn't liked there.. no body likes anyone who progresses fast.. meanwhile he provides the highest employment in the whole of kogi.. and has an academy there.. But it is pure lie to say the road to his cement plant is not paved.. from Kabba all the way to Obajana is a concrete road which he sponsored..42km -47km there about.. The section from Obajana to lokoja is a federal project.. Mention one road BUA or Lafarge started and completed.. BUA just Flagged of one in the north..and to shock it..it is not even at the community where his cement plant is.. BUA has been operating the Obu mines in Edo state before Dangote joined..have to been on the federal highway that leads to his plant? |
