You have a big misunderstanding of criminal justice. The true victim is the State not the individual. It is the State's prerogative to prosecute criminals because it faces the most danger from crimes. Criminal justice is not the same with retribution, the debt (crime) is owed to the State, and the criminal is purposefully rehabilitated.
In retrospect you are saying if sombody does the above listed crime to you and your family, you decision is to let them go

Thats why i love top world countries...they have respect for life, even wild animals cannot be killed not to talk of human lives...and GMB says we shouldn't judge by his past.....
Say no to past military rulers, we've not recovered from OBJ's damage nd they wan2 bring GMB....SMH
Lets say armed robbers broke into your home, raped your pregnant wife while they forced you to watch, she had a miscarage has a result , killed your first son and shot you in the leg there by crimpling you for life, Then carted away with all your possesions.....
What punishment do you think is convinient for such a grusome crime?

Politics › Re: REMEMBER 1986? How Jonathan Saved Nigeria From Its Imminent Worst Disaster by podosci(m): 10:35pm On Mar 15, 2015
It is impossible for GEJ to rule for 6years and not have atleast one or two positive achievments attached to his name
even has tyranic and Wicked Gen Abacha was he still several positive pojects and developments
Obasanjo, Murtala Muhammed , Gowon all had their positives and their collective failures and successes lead us to this Present state of Nigeria
I believe Praise should be awarded when praise is earned and if what you posted is true then GEJ deserves praises for that project BUT GEJ failures out weigh is success and that's why there is a problem, Failures in
1 Economy - Value of the Naira is presently sitting at 230 to a dollar,
2 Corruption - well we all know the level of corruption during this present administration from Pardoning Alaymesia to Alison Madueke to Aba moro to stella odua, The list goes on and on
3 Security- This one explains itself
4 Electricity- 16 years of PDP and look at our power situation,6 years of GEJ and we still generate 3600MW, and the PHCN is starting to commit daylight robbery with its charges......Imagine electricity bills double in the last year alone with out any significant effect in the quality of service
5 Health- Imagine hospitals have been on strike and nobody seems to give a danm. Its the poor man who dosnt have money to go to Private hospitals that are mostly affected, People are dying daily from this menace and apart from the Govt not caring , The citizens don't even care about each other.
GEJ dam project should be applauded and also is revolution in the Agric sector but there are soooooo many things wrong in this country and GEJ body language and attitude dosnt sound like someone serious about fixing the country if giving another 4 years, This election is not even about Buhari but rather about the how GEJ has failed NIgerians, HE promised us so much but we are the one suffering the consequencies of voting for him in 2011.

IF THIS IS TRUE (WHICH IT SHOULD BE); THEN THE LEADERSHIP OF APC SHOULD BE QUESTION.

Buhari SAID HE WILL MAKE JONATHAN's GOVERNMENT UNGOVERNABLE AFTER LOSING THE 2011 ELECTION.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT STATEMENT, NORTHERN NIGERIA WAS IN DISARRAY.

TO THE U.S MILITARY; THE ANSWER ISN'T FAR FETCHED. APC LEADERS LEAKED THE INFO THE BH BOYS.
In 2010, as reported by various sections of the media, Lawal Keita, a PDP chieftain stated that if a person from the North did not win the 2011 elections, Nigeria will be made ungovernable .

Below are links to that effect as reported by the press when that statement was made.

http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2010/10/08/group-wants-kaita-tried-for-treason/

In April 2011, Reuben Abati slandered Buhari in The Guardian about same statements of making Nigeria ungovernable. Buhari sued Abati to court in 2011 for damaging his name. President Jonathan begged Buhari on behalf of Abati to settle out of court because Abati might end up in jail. On 11 July 2013 Rueben Abati and The Guardian published an unreserved apology to Buhari

So please retract your post

Politics › Re: Senate Defends Confirmation Of Musiliu Obanikoro As Minister by podosci(m): 12:37am On Mar 15, 2015
koro has not been investigated nor charged to court by the police or army .....Its the duty of the police to investigate and authenticate the leaked tape but non of that has been done and I guess we all know why.
APC cannot charge koro to court over a criminal offence they can only charge him to court over a civil suit like an election tribunal......Its left for the police to investigate and charge him to court for the criminal offence of electoral malpractice but we all know has long has GEJ is president the police do not have the audacity to investigate or even release a statement about the issue.

Abegi, they should go and sit down jare. Wasn't it APC that said Tinubu is innocent till proven guilty, so what's is it with all these ranting...

They want Koro to be disqualified based on mere allegations yet, for any of their members, anything goes... Derranged people

PDP til APC goes ghostmode
Tinubu was charged to court and cleared of all corruption allegations levied against him, That's why he is sueing AIT for deformation of character.
My problem is not even if obanikoro is innocent or guilty but The fact of non of the law enforsment agencies have taken up their responsibilities to investigate the issue or atleast investigate the tape and come out to tell us its fake. NON at all , That's shows you the level of decadence in the Nigeria...If we continue along this path, Our future I very bleak.

Aba moro, The minister of interior who single handedly scammed 3.5million Nigerians of 2k each and which also lead to the death of 22 young Nigerians. The same aba moro is still a minister, In a sane country wount he have atleast been sacked? the fact that he is still the minister of interior is an insult to the grave of the Nigerians who lost their lifes during the exercise
Lets say your brother or sister was amongst those killed in the immigration scam, how would you feel knowning that the man responsible is still a minister?
If GEJ truly cares about the Victims, ABa moro should have been sacked and the families of the victims compensated since day 1
What is 5million Naira compared to a human life? Nigeria would never progress because the Dead would continue to curse the nation who let them die in vain.

Thank You

This is not a civil case, This is a criminal case and there for requires the police to charge him to court
Politics › Re: How Buhari Became A Nigerian Army Officer Cadet And Not Amere Recruit In 1961 by podosci(m): 11:03pm On Mar 12, 2015
nelsonoba:
I have very little reasons to doubt this, because even till today, it is a common practice in most Universities in core Northern Nigeria (maybe with exception on the likes of ABU) to admit students who do not have their complete minimum 5credits.

I served in Niger State, and many students from FUTMinna usually registered in my school to write WAEC SSCE in order to get their complete 5credits. Some of the students I met were already in 3rd and 4th year, but they were still writing WAEC to make up for papers they should have had before even gaining university admission. This is for those who keep asking "how could Buhari have been admited into the army without his certificate"?
Now we are talking of 1961, How do you know the requirement for 1961? Cambridege released a statement saying to pass WASC in 1961 you need minimum credit in English and not maths, Anybody who wants to say otherwise should please provide us with University statement on their admission requirement in 1961, Below is Cambridge statement

Politics › Re: How Buhari Became A Nigerian Army Officer Cadet And Not Amere Recruit In 1961 by podosci(m): 11:00pm On Mar 12, 2015
I decided not to grant this ridiculous post with a comment but my hands where scratching me and am actually trying to practice how to type faster so this good practice for me
First of all, If you were up-to-date you would remember the army spokesman press briefing when he said Buhari passed English and other RELEVANT subject, The world RELEVANT I would highlight for gullible NIgerians who are too lazy to use google but would rather believe any nuisance they see on the internet. Below is a link to the army spokesman statement
http://dailytrust.com.ng/daily/top-stories/44930-we-don-t-have-copy-of-buhari-s-wasc-army
Second of all, IF you were not too gullible you would remember Cambridge released a statement verifying Buhari result and saying English Language alone and not neccesarily mathematics was relevant in 1961 to qualifying for a certificate. Below is a link to the statement by Cambridge
http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/
Thirdly,,,OP are you saying you know more than all the Generals in the Nigerian Army? and the Generals are so incompetent to have though of this and done a check on results of other officers who enrolled in 1961? IF so, then you are a genius

Now. OP, You said you have evidence to invalidity both the army spokesman and Cambridge, Please lets have the evidence you said you have we are all waiting . atleast websites and pictures of results of officers
And attached to your evidence should be the result of at least 20 officers who entered the Nigerian Army in 1961

Failure to produce this evidence would result in you being a dispensable gullible lability to Nigeria for the rest of your life. Thank you

Tribalism is what is killing Nigeria. I'm an igbo, i'm yoruba, i'm hausa, i'm ijaw, i'm this, i'm that. When are we going to see ourselves as Nigerians, as one people? When are we going to put tribal or ethnic sentiment aside and move on as one people? When are we going to love ourselves? When will the tribal hatred ends? Why are we so intolerant and unacommodating? Please let's move on as one. We are brothers and sisters. Let's stand together, let's fight together, and let's live together as one people. In unity we stand.
I have told my friends that tribes should be dislodged and not recognised in our federal and state levels.....Only state of Origin should be recognised...This way there would be healthy competition amongst states for who is more developed and who is richer or who has more foreign investors...This is my own opinion anyway
