You should be addressing the NFF to give the money to the motherless and not come here and start commenting total rubbish...you talk as if your brain is under your foot. Mumu. Have a good look at the mirror, and see the one you are addressing. |

I respect her decission thought, but I think it's not a very bright move if you ask me.
Even if she doesn't need the money, there are several others in her community who might need what the money can provide. Boreholes, public toilets, football playgrounds, etc are some of the few places that the money could have been channeled into. She should have collected the money, and cause every last kobo to be spent filling some need. |

The rate at which APC are embracing any failed PDP members who defects make one even wonder if APC really envies PDP and what to be exactly like them. Heck, they've even courted Obj, trying to entice him with the title of Navigator! If GEJ defects to APC today, the fools and their foolish party will accept him! What then is APC about?
They are simply self-serving opportunist who want power at all cost, and will dine with the devil for it!
Nigerians should beware of these APC people, they are worse than PDP! |

donphilopus: Going by this hocus pocus, why did Sen. Chukwumerije and others who have defected from other opposition parties to the PDP not resign and re-contest for the same seat under their newfound [PDP] party?! Or, people like Opeyemi who left APC for LP recently?!
Guy, abeg stop saying what you know is practically impossible in Nigeria. If it were to be in the same US/UK, Abba Moro would have resigned his appointment after sentencing over 19 Graduates to death. Jonathan would have also resigned for failing to protect lives and properties of Nigerians. Two wrongs does not make a right! In anycase, did APC sponsor those people to the house? Didn't they get there through other parties like CPC, ACN, etc which no longer exist in it's original form? |
Politics › Re: Tambuwal Goes To Court by PointB: 5:59pm On Oct 31, 2014 |
seunmsg: Good move by the speaker, the era where people in authority do things with impunity and get away with it is over. The IG of police should also be dragged to court to explain where he derived the power to interpret the law on behalf of the court from. We must follow the rule of law irrespective of whether it favours our political party/political aspirations or not.
This suit goes to show that the speaker is a democrat who is ready to abide by the law. Another person could have resort to self help or employ the same bole ka ja(get down and let's fight) tactics of the presidency which can lead to serious overheating of the polity. The speaker should not be intimidated at all, he remains the speaker until at least, 2/3 of the members of the house of representatives says otherwise. Tell that to the marines! If he was a democrat and respecter of the law he would have resigned his position as required by the law! Why does he want to eat his cake and have it? Now he will spend his campaign time and funds (at least part of it) pursuing a needless court case! |

But why would Tambuwal adjourn sitting for over a month shortly after declaring his defection? In whose interest is he acting - his or the people? Me think it only reinforce the believe that he is trying to cover a bad deed. Nigeria need the legislative functioning, not pandering to the the whim and caprices of one man - Tambuwal. |

I say it again, for those who care to listen!
Buhari is accursed!
He's directly and indirectly responsible for the death of so many people when he was a dictator and president candidate; many of them were innocent! Such individual stained with blood of innocent are not fit for the throne; their hands on the land highest stool is a taboo, and bring ill luck, and doom to the land.
Buhari should spend the rest of his life in solitary, seeking forgiveness and inner peace! His ill-lucks, and doom shouldn't be allowed to taint the land! Stay away from the unlucky, and accursed or risk being infected with their disease; he should also stay away from us!

Politics › Re: Doing Business In Nigeria Now Easier – World Bank by PointB: 4:22pm On Oct 30, 2014 |
Great news! Particularly worthy of cheering is this bit! Between 2013 and 2014, Nigeria saw an increase of 3.6 points in its distance to frontier score, greater than the global average increase of 0.8. This, the World Bank report said “is due in large part to an increase in the coverage rate of Nigeria’s credit reporting system and a reduction in the company registration fee that made it less costly to start a business.”
GEJ has assembled great team, who though largely taciturn, are gradually turning things around. They are the real game changers, not the loud-mouth, disgruntled, pull-him-down APC! |
