Wole Soyinka is just a talkative, who now-a-days mostly talks nonsense. Who even listens to him?

PoliticsRe: Behold The Next Governor Of Lagos State by PointB: 11:29am On Dec 01, 2014
Just visited his website www.okorojiforlagos.com

Nice set-up; he shows serious intent. By the way, does anyone have an idea what his manifesto is ? The donate button is not working, I will give coins to support any aspiration which breaks Tinubu strangle-hold of Lagos as personal empire!

The change we seek is mainly about inclusiveness, empowerment, equal opportunity and respect for all Nigerians living in Lagos and to stem the tide of official corruption, political exclusion and to get rid of present mafia-style of leadership in the state.

The change we seek will bring about the people-friendly, investment-friendly and sustainable policies. The change we seek is to give a voice and protection to all Nigerians living in Lagos particularly millions of traumatized and voiceless traders and workers who are impoverished and extorted by the cabal that has held Lagos state by the jugular for the almost 16 years.
- Bob O. Okoroji

Well, thats something that will resonate with Lagosians, if we can put tribal sentiments aside.

PoliticsRe: Tambuwal Suit: Court Directs That The IG Of Police Be Put On Notice Properly by PointB: 9:18am On Dec 01, 2014
A case built on 'status quo'.

All the IG need to do is to show he observed status quo. And the status quo is simple: Tambuwal is no longer speaker by the virtue of the constitutional provision!

PoliticsRe: IG Of Police Says ‘thugs’ Tried To Enter NASS, Insists Tambuwal Is Not Speaker by PointB: 11:08am On Nov 27, 2014
Tambuwal should go to court or go to blazes.

He's no longer a member of National Assembly!

PoliticsRe: Is Nairaland Inciting Nigerians Against The Apc? by PointB:
Cry babies everywhere you turn.

These APC guys don't get it, Nigerians can see through your schemes. No one will trust you with power for the sake of it. Why impeach the president when election is just about 3 months away?

Are you guys serious at all? APC, clueless!
PoliticsRe: Are We Headed For Another Civil War In 2015? by PointB: 10:22am On Nov 21, 2014
BlackPeni5:
Looking back at calls by the Katsina State Governor, Mr. Shema on his supporters to kill and crush the opposition (Cockroaches). Not forgetting our brother Bola Tinubu who also asked his supporters to enforce the rig and roast policy, or Buhari who promised that the blood of dogs and baboons will flow. One thing is clear, politicians are inciting their supporters to violence if there is rigging.

We all know that rigging is part of PDP's political strategy right from the time the party was formed. Obasanjo was rigged into power in 1999 and 2003 while Yaradua was rigged into power in 2007. The same can be said of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 although rigging during his term was the lowest compared to his predecessors. Notwithstanding, rigging is not limited to PDP politics as all parties rig, just that PDP is better.

APC desperately wants power by all means in 2015 and are ready to fight for it with all their might. These comments are just to put their supporters in the fighting mood in anticipation of 2015.

PDP will surely rig in 2015 and APC will surely fight. But the only question is how far the fight go and how long it will last. Let's not forget that Governor Rotimi Ameachi promised that APC will form an alternate government in 2015 if APC loses. All these things are a recipe for a civil war.

People from the South South and South East do not want Northern rule while Northerners do not want a Sourtherner as president. The worst case scenario is that, after GEJ rigs himself into power in 2015, there will be civil disturbances in the North and killings of "Cockroaches" will start another genocide. A parallel government will also be formed by the APC. The Southerners will use the opportunity to declare an independent country again which will lead to another civil war.

Alternatively, people may just continue to complain over the internet and nothing will happen.

However, I've started saving some small money so I can run to Madagascar if the worst case scenario occurs.
A sad end to an incisive analysis?

Who will protect your family if you turn tail and run? I know life is sacred, and self preservation is first principle of existence, but common, turning tail and running is not a solution. A man stands and fight!

Anyway, knowing Nigerians very well, there would be know fight if PDP wins. They will only renew their mandate to be forcefully crush Boko Haram. Let's see it done.

PoliticsRe: Fashola, SAN Being Welcomed By The Election Commissioner Of India. PICS.. by PointB:
Visiting electoral commission in any country, is simply a sign of joblessness. Is Fashola an EC, or is he planning on becoming one? This is a waste of tax-payers money on glob-trotting.

Were it to be GEJ, I wonder what these dolts who defend Fashole all over the place will be saying. Big shame.

Who is we? Are we talking about your village grin

You irrelevant and redundant villagers no go kill person with laughter I swear... grin
That's the problem with some of you dolts. You think those who pay tax in Lagos State should have no say how the money is spent? Why should Fashola use my tax money to take picture all over the places with every Tom, Dick, and Harry? Is that his priority?
PoliticsRe: Fashola, SAN Being Welcomed By The Election Commissioner Of India. PICS.. by PointB:
Firefire:
Fashola always welcomed.

Btw: Where are the trains he inspected when welcomed in Canada many years ago huh
hehehe.

That's below the belt. Good point nonetheless.

All this posing for pictures is very much akin to his flower planting and wall painting policy in Lagos State. They leave real issue unattended while the photo crazy governor poses for picture with all and sundry. And when he runs out of people to pose with in his craze, he poses with himself - selfie.

Can someone tell fashola that the time for Eko for show is over, we demand commensurate result for the huge IGR and Federal Allocation he recieves, not photograph of him posing with people that look as clueless as him.

Nuff said!

The building or the painting?

Me think, the rot was covered up by the 'performing' governor with a generous dose of flowers paint! Fashola is a very good governor, he sure knows how to cover a big mess. hehehehe

Celebrating victory lifts morale; I think it's wrong to ask soldiers not to celebrate victory.

From ur analysis, u must be from the east. But that as it may, how many votes do u think ur people can bring on board? Kwankwaso is only popular in Kano state not in Nigeria, Just the same way Rochas is to Imo state. So it will be a great risk paring both of them.
Until the he campaigns, and actually run for the post, there is no way you can know what's going to happen. That's what why it's called election, not selection!

It's pointless to argue with you, since you've concluded without any supporting data.

This is the real meaning of DEMOCRACY, not like the PDP who kills other people ambitions just because of one man who can not even control his wife.

If this is true, then my preference will be:

1. MUHAMMADU BUHARI
2. TAMBUWAL
3. ROCHAS OKOROCHAS
4. KWANKWASO
5. NDA ISIAH
6. ATIKU

#teamSaiBUHARI
Discounting Nda Isaiah, Mallam Rochas appear to only one swimming against the born-to-rule tide. Let's see how this pans out.
Rochas+Kwankwaso peering might not be a bad combo, if APC have the presence of mind to push it.

Jonathan crowd consists of civilservants
In other words, Buhari is stalked by almajiris, while the real people follows GEJ?

How you manage to deduce this from those those pictures in itself is a great feat. Can I have what you are smoking? wink

Buhari that rejected IMF loans and world bank directions. Buhari who paid up all our debt?.
Dont even go there, you be small pikin in political economics.
That moonlight tale has been debunked already. Buhari paid interest accrued on the debt, not paying off the debt. As per refusing IMF loan, tell me, was it not the same loan that would have been used to build the Lagos Metroline?

Old man in economics, it appears a six year old would do better than you.

I call this Cooperate PR scam! The lady refused to establish the fact that once that deal is signed, it would mean that goods from EU would start flowing freely into Nigeria... and ask yourself who in Europe would want to buy made in Nigeria products in return? at the end of the day the EU would be the major benefactor of such deal and Nigeria will be on the loosing end.
I bless God I have a Good President at the helm of affairs, a President that knows what's good for my country now !
Buhari would have signed it, without thinking!
