ilugunboy: Stop famzing....nobody can be sold on that! grin

BTW...you have no need genuflecting to Seun or the Mods for your post to hit the FP... grin
Are you worried the FP might expose Tinubu, or that the traffic generated might crash Nairaland server?

In anycase, FP is a matter for Seun to decide. Whether he does it or not, those who have fact/opinion will find a way to express it. Truth is hard to kill!

ilugunboy: You want this your junk on the FP? Its better you confine your gossip here and if I happen to be a Mod I will rather close this thread for getting too high on falsehood and libelous comments. grin grin
Why not on FP? This genuine attempt to find out source of Tinubu's wealth certainly should be of concern to all and sundry. Seun, being a fair minded individual will certainly agree with me.

Besides, if you think opinions expressed here are libels and falsehoods, why not provide the correct information?

Mod, pls be the judge.

Hmmmn, here is another kind fellow who believe like many Nigerians, that Tinubu made tonnes of cash when he was a governor in Lagos state. Certainly, governors don't earned in billions, or did they then?

Demdem,
Pls I thought you said f**k Tinubu? Was that reverse psychology?

Anyway, since you have made a volte face, can you summarise sources of Tinube's wealth, and let's the public judge the bigger thief between Tinubu and the ex-convict Bode judge. Surely such detailed source of Tinubu's wealth (or lack of it) will help exonorate him in public eyes. If you say he is not a saint, what specifically inform your opinion?
PoliticsRe: How Wealthy (Rich) Is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? by PointB(op): 12:03pm On Sep 06, 2012
ilugunboy: However smartly you try to cover up your real motive in the garb of public interest..you aren't entirely smart enough.

If you want to know...there is a bureau now in Lagos that will be willing to provide you with all you wish to know...with one caveat: you must be a responsible Lagosian, in essence your tax clearance must be up to date.
Darn, you are very smart to know my motive. Kindly clap for yourself.

Let assume I am not qualified to get that information fron the bureau, why don't u kill this thread here and now with that information. That would be easier than inpugning on my motivation, again no?

Demdem: i doubt if Tinubu is interested in the presidency personally. probably the yoruba people leadership, thats honourably ok to aspire to but u POINTB are not Yoruba. so which people are u reffering to?
You doubt Tinubu is interested in presidency, but I don't. Besides, I don't have to be Yoruba to be interested in politics, Nigeria is not about Yoruba alone, there are other ethnic groups. Pls don't derail this thread with ethnicism. Let's keep it clean, and focused on Tinubu - his wealth (or lack of it) and it's source(s) or cause.

ilugunboy: Is Tinubu presently a public office holder?

My guy look for a more compelling reason.
Sure he isn't. But that does not remove from the possiblity that he might be interested in becoming yet again a public officer. Surely, know more about him doesn't hurt anyone? Tinubu himself will be happy to come clean in the court of public opinion, no?
PoliticsRe: How Wealthy (Rich) Is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? by PointB(op): 11:48am On Sep 06, 2012
Demdem: Oga, u are going off-topic. Once again below is the only topic of discussion here:
I don't think he is off topic. He is implying that Tinubu stole/is stealing from Lagos state. Stealing as source of wealth is very popular among politician. Surely, you will agree with that, no?
PoliticsRe: How Wealthy (Rich) Is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? by PointB(op): 11:41am On Sep 06, 2012
ilugunboy: And what will the knowledge of that earn you?

He is wealthy enough to afford the good things of life just like any hard working Nigerian.
Overriding public interest! People want to know those who aspire to lead them. The people have the right to know!

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Tinubu Tinubu Tinubu by PointB:
Since the Op has decided to usher in an open season on this Tinubu fellow let me add that there is no gain saying that the Op and other Tinubu arse lickers are doing so out of intrinsic ethnic bigotry. Some of these clowns and Tinube arse lickers asked us to show evidence of Tinubu's conviction, but when asked to provide that of Anenih, Kalu, Atiku, Odili and co, you'll hear them blabbing nonsense. Let us then formally tell them conviction in the court of public opinion as applies to those men, applies even more to Tinubu. He is the current champion among the cult of theives.

Bottomline Bola Tinubu (not his real name) is a bastard (according to Tunde Bakare), from Iragbiji, an identity thief, whose criminal activities and various schemes are very well documented in this forum and beyond. There is no need going into details.

What is of concern to Lagosians and Nigerian is that his hands perpetually in the Lagos state treasury with the active connivance of his stooge Fashola has indeed endangered many lives as resources which should serve the citizens are used to use to finance his crime motivated political empire.

Ordinarily, this should concern every well meaning citizen of this country. But this not the case, as ethnic motivation and bigotry has made many hypocrites, to the extent that they introduce other well known crooks in the country to make a excuse for their brother to be left alone. These bigoted cretins are found in all corners of the forum laundering this criminal's image at the slightest opportunity. Sadly, they are always the first to ascribe ethnicism as the motivation for every criticism against their 'brother' - Tinube. In their hypocrisy, they fail to admit that the bulk of critical opinions against this Tinubu is from those from his region who know the fellow very well. This thread is simply a failed attempt at intimidating, to silence, those folks who know Tinubu as a criminal. Alas, like every plot to silence the truth, it failed, rather woefully!

Don't worry about the pickpockets, the 5k isn't meant for folks whose pockets can easily be picked if I understand the proposal clearly.

The 5k is not for normal transaction neither is it meant for everyone. So I repeat - coin the proposed N5,000!
PoliticsRe: I Support The N5,000 On One Condition... by PointB(op): 9:42am On Sep 05, 2012
Uhuh,
My guy,
I am yet to see where the N5,000 note is taking us. I don't agree with the CBN explanations. Coin it, and I will begin to agree with their motive.
PoliticsI Support The N5,000 On One Condition... by PointB(op): 9:07am On Sep 05, 2012
Coin it!

Yes, since it won't be used for every minor transaction, the best way to achieve is this is by coining it.

It should be coined using material that will be closer to it in value, to discourage fake.

Coins will not be loaded to ATM and as such make it not really available for day-to-day transactions. Furthermore, it will encourage big men to seek out and use coins, and others will copy them.

These are just a few reasons/benefit of coining N5,000. Let's have more!
PoliticsRe: APGA Faults Jonathan, Okonjo-iweala On Niger Bridge, Erosion In S-east! by PointB: 7:37am On Sep 05, 2012
Victor Umeh is on point here. Who I don't get is Peter Obi? Why is he running around making commitment that does not serve the interest of the zone. First conceding the 2015 Presidency to GEJ (with that Arthur Eze fellow) without any serious consultation with other stakeholder, and now the Onitsha bridge issue. If it was an issue of concession, the Bridge would have been build by now, so that's not the point. The Bridge is a major link between the zone and other zones, the FG must see it as her responsibility, and should use taxpayers money to build it.

As per using loan to fund erosion control in SE, well that's fine, provide FG doesn't pass the bulk. Disasters management on such scale falls into the purview of the FG. Let them deal with it!
PoliticsRe: N5000 Note: Protesters Storm CBN by PointB: 2:09am On Sep 05, 2012
How can big note serve big transactions when big transactions are already been conducted via electronic/cashless transaction?

Is CBN suggesting that the N5,000 Naira note will not be available at the ATM? If it is, how will the ATM be able to ascertain that a with ascertain that a 5k, 10k, or 20k transaction from ATM which might include this new not is for big transaction?

If the 5k note is not available at the ATM, is it's purpose not defeated? Will the CBN prevent ordinary Nigerians from using the 5K note to purchase garri and the new cassava bread from kiosk owner?

CBN please define big transaction in the context of cashless policy? This 5k note is utterly not needed, even 1000 note should be phased out as we continue to go cashless!
PoliticsRe: Foreigners Own Naira Patent – CBN by PointB: 2:07am On Sep 05, 2012
Defending the introduction of the N5,000 note, he said it is meant to serve big transactions, noting that it is not meant for everyday or minor transactions.
Is the above not a contradiction? How can big note serve big transactions when big transactions are already been conducted via electronic/cashless transaction?

Is CBN suggesting that the N5,000 Naira note will not be available at the ATM? If it is, how will the ATM be able to ascertain that a with ascertain that a 5k, 10k, or 20k transaction from ATM which might include this new not is for big transaction?

PoliticsRe: North Already Operating State Police – Ohanaeze by PointB:
Let me add my voice to the growing voice of Nigerians who are alarmed and seriously pissed by the duplicity and hypocrisy of the core north. How can one part of the country fund and operate state police (in disguise) yet shout their voice hoarse at similar thinking from other parts of same country. Surely what is food for goose, must be food for gander!

South must push for state police, let their state assembly start legislating it. Call it any name you like - Christ's Brigade sounds fine for those of us in the East!

You cannot be certain. The graduate might create more businesses and employ their 'mates'. Humans creative ability is unlimited.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Seun, And Garri Terrorists by PointB: 5:54pm On Sep 04, 2012
I am not sure if the Garri Gangs are nuisance, militants, activist, freedom fighters, or outright terrorists. Seun might need to set up a committee to study the garri revolution with the intent of tapping into it's potential benefit or nip it.

If they are indeed terrorist, then Seun might have to set up a JTF to combat them, and fight them till the last grain of garri traffic is gone! Alternatively, he may choose the path of dialogue and negotiation, identify what they want and find a way to grant it. Obj might offer to go to camp garri for this important mission.

Either way, I am not certain that the garri gangs relentless campaign, Seun's knee jerk reactions, or my honest analysis affects the price of the precious cassava derivative - garri in any way. Pls correct me if I am wrong!
