@op,
Your prayers have already been answered in your Northern enclave, I don't see them turn on their Governors, and LGA chairman, rather they turn on their fellow citizens.

Anyway, whatever happens, water will always find its level. And we all know who will suffer the most!
PoliticsRe: Salaries Of Niger-delta Militant Warlords Revealed by PointB: 1:17am On Aug 25, 2012
Carry on my cousins from the creek. How is this different from the heist perpetrated by SW shortly after the civil war when they stole Nigeria asset in the name of Indigenization Policy of 1972.

Truth be told, we can never agree on anything superficially in this cesspit, unless it is at an SNC. Grab as much as you like guys, tomorrow may never come!

And as some have raised concerned that those militants were not the only people affected by the exploitation, permit me then to suggest that all creek dwellers, fishermen, and indeed indigenes of oil producing states should be paid a monthly stipend by Federal Government. The producers must enjoy the money, enough of developing Abuja with oil money at their detriment. Funny country!

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Bow-Greeting Buhari (Picture): Slavery Or Respect? by PointB:
As usual, the resident hypocrite, AC.N Laptop #1 and his band of 'ayes' chorusing munions are at it again trying to sell Tinubu's hypocrisy and level 1 'eye service' as "yoruba's culture" of respect for elders.

In their jaundiced opinion Tinubu is showing respect to Buhari, an 'elder stateman, and a former President.' The problem is, has anyone seen Tinubu shown such respect to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo aka Obj, a two time President, and 'foremost statesman' whose shoe lace Buhari is unfit to untie? Or better still, do these same clowns and hypocrite who call the current President all sort of names, 'forget' rather conveniently that GEJ is also an 'elder' in his own right? Or does the yoruba culture which these hypocrites hide behind, have different categorisation for elders, and by extension respect shown?

It would be apt to suggest that Tinubu ultra low stoop before Buhari is akin to the kiss Judas gave Christ shortly before betraying him. Perhaps, Buhari will be wise to call Ribadu for lectures! It is a bow of death. Only hypocrites, will see it differently!
PoliticsRe: PDP: Lagos Speaker, Gbajabiamila Should Resign Not Okupe by PointB: 12:09pm On Aug 22, 2012
Olanlere11: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-West has insisted that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) should first ask the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Adeyemi Ikuforiji and the House of Representatives Minority Leader, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila to resign before the party can be taken seriously on its stand on corruption.
The PDP said it was ridiculous that the ACN could claim that Ikuforiji, cannot be asked to resign while at the same clamouring for the sack of Dr. Doyin Okupe, senior special assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan over yet-to-be substantiated report of his investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged contract scam.
PDP Zonal Publicity Secretary, Hon. Kayode Babade said in a statement issued in Ibadan today, that if anyone must be sacked or asked to resign from office, they are the Lagos Speaker, and the ACN Leader in the House of Representatives.
The PDP said; “While we will not defend anyone for committing crime, but we must state that we will no longer sit back and allow these gang of hypocrites in the ACN to harass, blackmail or intimidate our members. “With the zeal and vigour they have been approaching this issue of Dr Okupe, it is obvious that there are more to it than meet the eyes and what we can conclude is that some people are afraid of the man Dr Doyin Okupe and are out to distract him. The PDP said what has the former Benue State Governor, Senator George Akume, who is now the ACN Leader in the senate done since 2007 that he left office on the alleged contract scam involving Dr. Okupe? Saying his raising the matter now puts a lot of question marks on the claim.
That's a reasonable demand. In addition, Tinubu should also resign on the weight of his past criminality!
He who come to equity must come with clean hands.
PoliticsRe: If OBJ Supports Lamido- Amaechi Come 2015, What Is The Place Of Igbo by PointB: 12:07pm On Aug 22, 2012
HammedSodiqq: The media in recent times has been flooded with reports of Obasanjo secretly canvassing for the emergence of Lamido - Amaechi as president come 2015. This move indirectly signifies power shift from the south to the north, without due consideration of the plight of our Igbo Brothers. The Igbo nation has since 1966 suffered marginalization, as they have been condemned to only insignificant political appointments. Political analysts felt 2015 will be used to compensate them, but with Obasanjo jostling for Lamido and Amaechi, their hope appears to be a mirage. The question then is, are igbos not qualified to become president? What is their place in Nigerian politics? Will Igbo people vote for a northerner if alienated from 2015? Who told Obj that GEJ will not run again or has he been disqualified? NLanders help me resolve this o!
It's a simple matter. As soon as it is clear GEJ is not running, we'll rally round our own candidate in our chosen party. We'll do deal with NC, and get the SW on board too. Obj can go sleep with his son's wife (as usual)! No big deal!

Naaa,

These hypocrites wont talk about forged certificate, identity theft, drug offense, money laundering, and perjury associated with Tinubu. The clowns wont talk about his hands perpetually in the Lagos State cookie jar, nor the over $500 million debt of Lagos state. You will never see this set of pseudo-intellectuals say anything about Tinubu's million naira birthday cake or Ikuforiji's billion naira scam. You know why? Those crooks are ACN party stalwarts and they are saints as far as our resident hypocrite, ACN Laptop #1, and his band of 'ayes' chorusing minions are concerned.

Yet they try to sell their party agenda wrapped in Nigerian flag. Imagine those id!ots! I suppose they think everyone is as stup!d as them!

) This clearly shows you arrogate some form of 'higher intelligence' to yourself. Is it a form of self therapy recommended to you at Yaba left? The shrink might have studied your constant need for acceptance and love to have recommend this line of therapy for you.

Now did he (the shrink) also suggest criteria for measuring your self assumed super intelligence? Is the length and depth of your tongue stuck in Tinubu's arsehole one of such measure of your super intelligence? Does equating 'Okupe' as an idea measure your generous dose of super intelligence? Perhaps your super intelligence can also be measured by the volume of anti-GEJ bile you vomit every seconds in your attempt to deflect attention from the looting currently going on in Lagos state government, under the supervision of your paymaster and lord - emperor Tinubu?

Perhaps your self styled super intelligence is measured by the number of times you promote your undisputed title as the Resident Hypocrite of Nairaland, AC.N Laptop #1?

The great idea our resident hypocrite would like us to discuss happens to be 'Okupe'
Pray which idea exactly is 'Okupe'? Is 'Okupe' a space technology for traversing the Multiverse? Is it a perpetual energy source? Or perhaps 'Okupe' is the code name for the revolutionary idea that will destroy the boko haram terrorist group?

Some guys clearly think with their anus, especially when their tongues are stuck deep in Tinubu/ACN arsehole! These ACN laptops (or lap dogs) are incredible. grin grin grin grin

It is this same ignoramus tendency which makes you think biafra can still be actualized. olodo
lol,
Aren't you ashamed to be stuck in pre-history practice of cattle rearing, and other traditional farming methods, when clearly the rest of the world are using technology and science to modernized farming. But your cattle-like brain is just too useless to process this information. Little wonder that over 160 million Nigerians admit that people like you are the ones dragging us back. Aboki!

AjanleKoko: ^^
It's people like him that have earned Yoruba the undeserved name of cowards.
The frigging IITA is in Ibadan; with all the arable land down south, who stopped us from planting tomatoes? We can import and grow, and become self-sufficient over time.
Nigerians are too frigging lazy, always scared of taking a step forward. angry
Fact is that most vegetables including tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc can be grown quite easily in a Green House, and building a green house is no rocket science. When poo hits the fan, weaning the south from northern vegetables, cereal, and cattle, would be much easier than many think.
PoliticsRe: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by PointB: 12:44pm On Aug 21, 2012
ndu_chucks: Some of you people who are exposed to democracy may actually be tyrants or believers in dictatorship, at heart. The vast majority of 160million of proud Nigerians want to stay together. Sooner or later you people will realize that you are in the powerless minority. In the meantime your governors and neighbours will arrest and imprison you promptly, if u try any nonsense.

Think about new cases of cancer and other exotic diseases which will result from the preservative contained in imported vegetables before clamoring for importatiion.
Have you conducted a state by state referendum to reach this conclusion?
PoliticsRe: Okupe: The Return Of A Rabble Rouser by PointB: 12:11pm On Aug 21, 2012
It does not really matter to many of us who was appointed or brought into Aso Rock. This is Aso Rock remember! The place stinks, it is doomed, it is a den of thieves and it is where a few are living off the sweat of 100 million Nigerians and helping themselves to everything they can lay their hands on. Adding one, two, three or four more miscreant(s) to the palace will not spoil or dent anything.
Let me paraphrase the above lifted from the article.

It does not really matter to many of us who was appointed or brought into Alausa (Lagos State Governor Office). This is Alausa remember! The place stinks, it is doomed, it is a den of thieves (certificate forgers, identity thieves, drug barons) and it is where a few (Tinubu and co) are living off the sweat of 20 million Lagosians and helping themselves to everything they can lay their hands on. Adding one, two, three or four more miscreant(s) to the palace will not spoil or dent anything.
PoliticsRe: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by PointB: 11:59am On Aug 21, 2012
AjanleKoko: People need to look beyond these food matters. If the people don't want to be together, we should at least talk.
Tomatoes is not enough reason to stay one Nigeria. There are many aggrieved parties, so many grievances that must be addressed. Why doesn't Mr Kolawole add his voice to the vanguard calling for a national conference? Why are people like him scared of a break-up?
Thank you my brother, and may good bless you.

It is very simplistic to narrow down the Boko Haram to price of tomatoes, and onions, and food stuff. People are dying daily, lives are being disrupted and the country tether on the brink of war. Yet, some writers find time to romanticized the price of tomatoes, as if we are Lilliputians.

Nigeria needs serious restructuring; either through the National Assembly or SNC I couldn't care less. Solving the Boko Haram problem, only for MEND, OPC, or MASSOB to start another, is simply fighting fire. Nigeria must change course for probity, justice, equity and fairness, and it must been seen by all to be so, not just the aggressive minority or loud majority!

PoliticsRe: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by PointB: 10:26pm On Aug 20, 2012
When the bigger picture is broken down into its component part, Kolawole is right, the north is being destroyed by active collusion of its people and elders. If the Northern elders want to solve the problem, they very well know what to do. They should take the lead, while we follow.

'Tomatoes' can be grown in Green Houses, while fish, and chicken are better substitute for 'red meat.'

JaaizTech: WHYhuh Because He is a Christian or Because He has done so muchhuh Anyways, GEJ will be contesting, so all these are just diversionary tactics. The only viable opposition to PDP is a Fashola or Oshiomole ticket; except something goes very wrong.
And what has Fashola achieved other than helping Tinubu loot Lagos? And Oshimole has achieved what exactly?

Guy, none of those guys are better than the other politicians. Forget the hype! Politics is about expediency! I will vote Rochas, Chime, GEJ, David Mark, Ameachi in that order before considering Oshimole or Fashola. Whatever reason I have is my problem. I own no one no explanation!
PoliticsRe: FG - Boko Haram Dialogue: NOA Asks For Tolerance by PointB: 10:29am On Aug 20, 2012
Boko Haram finally learn their place before the gallant men of our JTF, on their knees! The cowardly shadowy group of murderers finally realised their game is up, as death preys upon them daily. They now shamelessly throw up the hands in the air in surrender. Wonderful!

Anyway, I want justice for those killed in their madness and dastardly campaign. A bullet each to the forehead of those who surrender instead of two is my suggestion as mode of dialogue. Nigeria should not negotiate with terrorists!
