I see Lai, so I know it must be lie.
You believe Lai at your own peril.

In anycase, a matter of this magnitude requires the president or whoever acts in his stead. Not Lai!

By the way, check out this Lai story

Lying Tongue
1. Liar son of Momed lies are stuff of myth, many say legend.
2. Some say it was his tiny nostril at birth, yet others say he was born with a lying tongue.
3. But all agree that Lair son of Momed is a natural born liar.
4. At the time he was born, his nose pressed flat across the cheek, spreading out like a melted butter across his upper jaw.
5. Yet his nostril was as tiny as a needle’s eye. For tiny strands of flesh held the roof of the nostrils to the flesh beneath.
6. When he opened his mouth (to cry), his tongue twisted and forked like a serpent’s fang. His mother says he cried when was happy, and laughed when he was sad.
7. His good father, Momed son of Momed, named him Layar, after a family’s great.

Without restructuring, the internment of this country is a forgone conclusion.

ahaika23:
Just as they did to Ken Saro Wiwa, they still maintain that strategy, to kill the struggle by force. But what is being witnessed today and being championed by NK is like I said before unprecedented in the modern struggle. I would suggest we don't bother our heads just yet as to how and what must be done to compel a referendum, as certain external force may be needed to achieve the impossible, the case of Russia annexing Cremea comes to mind. But what is certain is that if the pressure keeps building as it has sustained, we shall achieve our goal.
That is true.
The Ken Saro Wiwa case was also a missed opportunity. Eastern Nigeria folded their hands and watched as life was snuffed out of him and the struggle he represents. We (Igbos) didn't raise a hand to help, maybe because of his past treachery. Uwazuruike would have also felt alone and threatened while he was imprisoned at the peak of his struggle which I believe affected his strategy. In a similar way, NK 'shock and awe' Radio Biafra strategy is about to be replaced with a more subtly system to appeal more to the elite than the masses. I'm not sure how that will pan out.

Nigeria does not respect reason and logic, they respect any 'shock and awe' which threatens the system. So while a subtly and elitist approach will appeal to some, the 'shock and awe' element is still important an element in this struggle for self-determination. It appeals to many.

Sun Tsu, Art of War, Chapter 2 verse 16 says
Now in order to kill the enemy, our men must be roused to anger;
This was the strategy used by NK during his Radio Biafra days to get the people to this point. That strategy must always be deployed and to its maximum effect. In the journey to Biafra, Nigeria is the enemy, and strategy as such to force self determination is fair. The pressure must be sustained and increased, and there must be no let-up. As often as can be possibly arranged, IPOB must come up with options to keep the fire burning, they should not waste to much time over analyzing it. Some IPOD action should be compelling others confounding, even ambiguous.

Even Nigeria government will find it difficult to afford the cost of maintaining order in multiple cities and town across a united better south.

Sun Tsu, Art of War, Chapter 2 verse 19 says
In war, then, let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns. #
When there is no idea of what next to do, street protests and rallies are always available. We must make haste. No one can kill an idea whose time has come.

True. But you need to get Biafra first or get to the point of getting it before deciding who you want or not. If we achieve it together with partners, we can always agree to part ways and be great neighbours.

ahaika23:
Even a child before he's born takes nine months to develop, how much more a proposed country of over 60 million citizens. The process has begun, we need the architects to workout an action plan path to follow and at the appropriate time take landmark actions. I will do my bit starting from here to unite my people the way the Igbos are united. We shall overcome!
The architects are being hunted down and butchered. Some are hounded into jail, and those who manage to crawl out are heavily restricted, and have limited room for maneuver. Under this circumstance any action plan can only be available in bits and pieces and only to a trusted few until the prevailing climate of bullets and gulag is overcome.

The FG will not allow any group of people to sit down to formulate any plan that put her existence in jeopardy. That is why from every intent and purpose IPOB and other actors are employing a system of 'guerrilla tactics' in their approach. Whatever long term plan IPOB have, will solely depend on the success of current tactics. And the success of this tactics will also depend on interested group keying in and making the most of it to the point of bringing the government to a round table. Basically, it is only when the system is overwhelmed and conflagration seems inevitable that government will be willing to listen to calls for referendum. And it is only when this is done, that any semblance of plan will be made available to all concern for input.

So because the road is long and patchy and success is less than assure, those who seek to join must be of single-mind and seize each and every opportunity presented by IPOB, MASSOB, BZM, Niger Delta Avengers, and other such interest groups.

IPOD missed the opportunity to capitalize on the immediate past NDA activities, while a lot of ethnic groups in the Niger Delta are still asking "what is in it for me" and dragging their feet, thereby also missing the opportunity IPOB represent. I can't tell what is in it for everyone, but what I do know is that, if we all work together to reduce the number of fingers that goes into the ever diminishing bowl of fufu, the rest will will be fuller. It's a no-brainer.
PoliticsRe: Without The Sound Of The Barrel! Niger Delta Vs Biafra by PointB: 4:53pm On May 31, 2017
ahaika23:
The time has come for a drastic change in the country structure whether the North and or West like it or not. We just have to put in the right machinery in place to ensure that Biafra does not go in the way of Nigeria.
If your people are interested in Biafra, join now. Help the movement strategise, plan and execute. You don't have to wait until things are done perfectly or in a certain way, because it's never going to be, at least not for now.

The path is thorny, and it's not like those who stand to gain from the status quo will make it easy for the planners to do things right. At the moment what matters now is the end, not the process. The FG will not make it easy for any and everyone to be consulted, you have to follow your heart, and follow the lead.

Noise Makers
13. “I have a solution,” shouted the Master of Sport, “Let our young men and woman race for gold and glory at the Olympics, surely they require no training for this.”
14. But the people scoffed at him. For hardly has it been heard that any won anything at the Olympic without proper tutoring.
15. “Ah, the people eat too much grains, wherefore the cost of grains has risen and hunger unleashed upon the land,” volunteered the Master of Crops, “Nigirans should eat less grains and donate their lands for cattle grazing,” he suggested, a broad smile emblazoned across his face.
16. “Let the people offer up the precious gems and jewelries to help the country,” suggested the Counselor on Material Prosperity, nodding his head like a lagoon lizard.

Doom a word
17. “There is no problem with Nigira edging towards doom. Recession, doom are but spoken words of no value,” assured the Master of Coins pushing back her hair to reveal an overwhelmed face.
18. “Thou spoke true words, O Master of coins,” nodded the spokesman of King Bubu aggressively, “Those who say otherwise, are wailers, and children of wailing wailers,” he added.
19. “Let’s keep telling them that the deposed King Jonah the Able son of Locki and his men took so much spoils from Nigira and did nothing with Nigira’s wealth.” added Oshi son of Gbanjo
20. “They are the cause of our woes,” agreed King Bubu son of Hari, “I shall employ another adviser on scroll and scribes to help me trumpet this to the people.” he added.

5. But King Bubu cannot give them succor, for a man cannot give what he has not. New thoughts have fled the king’s mind, only the things of the past hold sway.

A King’s Confession
6. For King Bubu was made in the past, and in the past he belongs. Nothing new has germinated in his mind in several decades, nothing new has he allowed in, except old knowledge of his god, and his pains and anger.
7. “When thou made me King, the size of the problem made me shiver. Lo, I wanted to abdicate the throne abscond into obscurity,” confessed King Bubu.
8. “But good people of Nigira, you will be proud of Nigira again,” he tried to reassure the people, “For, I will fix Nigira.”
9. But the King’s words were forged in the abyss of emptiness. Nothing new said, nothing new done. For he has been taking small and big missteps leading Nigira to the edge of doom.

hotchapters.com November 11, 2016 No Comments on Chapter 2: King Bubu and the Noise Makers

Diversify
1. When the Creek Avengers threatened to push Nigira to the edge of doom, several counseled King Bubu son of Hari to parley with them.
2. But the King would not budge. For obstinacy was his middle name and being obdurate was a second nature. He is the King, imperial, all knowing, and unforgiving. And only him counts!
3. “Since the Creek Avengers have decided to destroy Chambers of Oil in their domicile, I shall diversify commerce. I shall spend sizeable sum of gold to search for oil in other places.” And so he did.
4. Whereupon the people responded saying, “Lo, the King seeks to diversify commerce, but continues to waste precious gold in search of elusive oil with declining importance. Pray, is the King Bubu confused? Surely the King should be spending the gold helping farmers, miners, the blacksmiths, and the foundries.”

Disease of the ear
5. Even when King Bubu appointed Ministers it was too late. The deed has been done. Commerce has collapse, and Nira continue to shrink in value and desire when pitched against the golden dollar. Penury and despondence ravaged the land.
6. But several of the Ministers continued the missteps of King Bubu. Perhaps he’s infected them with his disease of the ear that they have become deaf like the him to reason, and blind to see the sufferings in the land.
7. Perhaps they knew no better. Alas, Nigira continue to inch closer to edge of doom.

Cacophony of Noises
8. And when the people complain saying, “O King, several of us are without jobs as enterprises have shut down, give us job and food lest we starve to death.”
9. The Ministers answered in cacophony of noises, for the King had called them noise makers. And true to their names they act.
10. “We shall revoke the permission to lend from any money lender who dismisses several people from their enterprise,” threatened the Master of Labour. He forgot many more will lose their job if he so does revoke their right to lend.
11. “Masquerades! Masquerades!!” pranced the Master of Propaganda, Liar son of Momed, “Masquerades!!!” He danced. “We shall create several thousands jobs dressing masquerades from the East in the land of the Heeboes,” he enthused.
12. He forgot that the Heeboes have been dressing masquerades for pleasure long before his ancestors chanced upon Nigira.

Noise Makers
13. “I have a solution,” shouted the Master of Sport, “Let our young men and woman race for gold and glory at the Olympics, surely they require no training for this.”

20. “They are the cause of our woes,” agreed King Bubu son of Hari, “I shall employ another adviser on scroll and scribes, to help me trumpet this.” he added.
21. And in this manner many of the ministers, noise makers, as King Bubu called them, and the King continued to speak in discordant tunes, pointing fingers at any and all for the doom befalling Nigira.
22. Thus did Nigira continue to approach the edge of doom.

Treasury Safe Alcove (TSA)
13. The treasurers and money lenders were alarmed, “Surely, commerce will collapse if these money were to be taken from money lenders and treasurers, and kept in the King’s Treasury Safe Alcove,” they cautioned, “O good King, do reconsider as King Jonah the Able son of Locki did.”
14. “But King Jonah the Able son of Locki and his men took spoils from the land. Surely, if we do not put the money in the King’s Treasury Safe Alcove also known as TSA, someone else will steal them,” countered one who spoke for him. “King Bubu son of Hari is an upright man, he will not take spoils from the land, he will spend every dime on the land.”
15. And so the money lenders and treasurer across Nigira relinquish all the King’s golds, and Nira to the King’s Treasury Safe Alcove also known as TSA.
16. “Lo, there is so much money is Nigira, behold how much I have saved in the Treasury Safe Alcove.” exclaimed an excited King Bubu, his eyes glinting like the gold coins in the TSA.

King Bubu spoke untrue words

One King Squad
10. For soon after he became King, he told the people of Nigira who clamored for him to appoint Ministers to help him as was the custom, “The Ministers are but glorified noise makers, I shall appoint them only in the fullness of time.”
11. And King Bubu’s fullness of time came six month into his tenure. By then King Bubu had steered, alone, the ship of Nigira, with an unsteady hand, the wrong course, towards the edge of doom.
12. Before he appointed the Minister, “Gather all money due me as royalties, taxes, dues, levies, and income,” he had commanded several high official in service. “Take them from ministries, agencies, high officials, money lenders, treasurers, merchants, and all who have them, and keep them in the King’s Treasury Safe Alcove.” he commanded

27. And when the rest have left the King’s kitchen chamber, Mormor son of Duara from behind the shadows emerged. He nodded knowingly to the king as he approached.
28. And he spoke to the King saying, “O good King, Tifni son of Nubu cause you grieve for his strangle hold on wealth and the people of Yoruga, especially those who dwell by the Lagoon. Now he claim he’s the National Leader of the great house, APC. What does that make you O King? His subject?”

30. “The King owes now one, great one. Tifni only sought to protect his loots when he aligned with you. The debt is paid, if you leave his loots for him. But he must be guided away from the throne, lest he corrupts it.”

13. They were armed with clubs and cudgels. One or two carried a dagger.
14. When Bubu the dog saw them. He barked fiercely, and broke free from his leash. Bubu the dog leapt into the air like a wild beast, biting one of the men by the hand, and caught another by the shin. For it sensed the end was nigh.
13. The men jump back in fright. But they regrouped and attacked Bubu the dog with their cudgels and daggers.

The last time they met.

And when the time came, the people trooped out to pitch their tents between King Jonah the Able, son of Locki and Bubu son of Hari the cattle rearer. And Jae the son of Gah counted the tally. And he wrote down the numbers according to the tribes and clans of the people.

And the people shiver and murmur when they wait for the tally. For they fear strife may befall the land whither the lot falls.

Election Result

Then Jae the son of Gah, stood in the public square, and he began to announce to the people the result of the tally.

And there arose a certain zealot, Orun son of Gbegbe. When Orun son of Gbegbe saw the tally and fearing that King Jonah may lose, he thus addressed Jae son of Gah, “You favour your tribesmen from North and your are not fair in your dealings with the troubles from the tally.”
