FreeGlobe:He could even be damaging the party more than building it. @Op, You readership is waning. Either you choose defending your Ethnic group (Ijaw) or PDP. It's increasing becoming obvious you can't do both. By trying to do both, you'll damage the party's brand more than help it, especially on Nairaland. Look at Ochejoseph? Do you see him get himself involved in ethnic squabbles? That's food for thought. As for me, and many people like me (and trust me we are many), we don't care what happens to PDP! It can very well go to blazes! |
Na wa oo |
speedyGonzales:He killed Obafemi Awolowo, and made Oshibanjo a 'mere commissioner', Yorubas are so excited, and are ready to die protecting him. I never see some before oo. ![]() They call it 'sophistication', darn! ![]() |
helpee:Naa, that's not the summary the Association of Political Crooks minions want to hear. To then Washington Times have joined the Wailers! ![]() |
Mr. Buhari has not yet budged. As a military dictator in 1985, he similarly seized the international passport of Chief Obafemi Awolowo to thwart his travel for medical treatment, which caused his death in 1987. The more things change, the more they stay the same.hehehehe @ the bolded. Great minds think alike! ![]() Meanwhile, Op please conclude the article. This part is left out: Continued from page 1 Members of Nigeria’s National Assembly and Senate have been reduced to playing the roles of extras in cinematic extravaganzas.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/nov/18/bruce-fein-nigerian-president-buhari-dupes-us/?page=2 @the Red, Ghengen, APC vs USA - Fight! |
Okada-man, thank you for dropping me here. Make I spread my mat and begin to take note. I dey sure say I go get something to use for the next Chapter of the Acts of King Bubu. ![]() Op, well done. I dey hail oo. |
We need to hit twitter with this oo. We can't keep quiet when an incompetent C-in-C allow our gallant soldiers be kidnapped under his very nose. It's unacceptable. #bringbackoursoldiers |
chocolateme:I no tell you ? ![]() |
Hehehehehe I love this. |
laudate:True. Different strokes for different folks. But in the end, protest is still a legitimate tool in democracy. You need to open your skull up and pour that in. |
Protest is legitimate means and tool to address any concern in a democracy. If in doubt, ask #SaveNigeriaGroup, and #OccupyNigeria |
Serendip:Biafrans wants freedom not war. A UN sponsored referendum is what should happen no war! In which way are we better off as one Nigeria? Besides, if as a group of people, we don't want to 'enjoy' your better one Nigeria, shouldn't we exercise our right to self determination? Who are you to tell me what's good, or better for me? |
Looks to me that Fr. Mbaka will end up disgracing himself. At times it better to keep quiet and watch things unfold. If he want IPOB to dialogue with FG, shouldn't he be facilitating the dialogue? Why equate the struggle to money? Did those protesting not know they will lose income by closing their shops? Did they need Fr. Mbaka to tell them where their priority lies? Is Freedom not more than money making? I think Fr. Mbaka should face his core responsibility of winning souls for Christ, and leave matter of politics and agitation to those more suitable for it. Biafra lives on! |
What has the presidency benefited anyone? Me think Mr Osita Okechukwu is afraid Biafra actualisation will make him irrelevant. The solution for Mr Osita Okechukwu is to join the Biafra movement and secure the future of his children, as Nigeria has failed, and is bound to disintegrated, sooner rather than later. Nigeria is a failed state; Biafra is Hope! |
hehehehe Op where did you get this picture? Priceless. ![]() |
@Op, The fact of the matter is this: Fashola is a big thief, the tribalist Yorubas are just propping him for political reasons! |
Truckpusher:Actually, I'm in no position to give guarantees, as I'm not a member of the inner caucus. That's why I insist that you can easily negotiate and get close to 90% in Biafra (a new nation) than in the present Nigeria. But the only thing I can say for certain is that Igbos have no agenda to enslave you, and there is no proof of previous enslavement. I can't also claim that I love Ijaws, but I have no reason to hate them either. Biafra movement is not motivated by love or hatred for Ijaws, but by desire for something much better and different from Nigeria. You just have to believe you won't be worse off, and then take a leap of faith. Fear is one factor that prevent people from reaching their potential. In your case, ii is the fear of an illusory domination by Igbos to the extent you want to remain in servitude in Nigeria. If Jacob's children had thought like you, they wouldn't have left Egypt where they were slaves. But if you truly believe that you are better off in servitude Nigeria than potentially getting a better deal in Biafra, I'll say good luck! |
EUROBOMBER:hehehehe, Myself, I'm even tired preaching Biafra to some of these folks from the "South South". Either the Zoo or Biafra, I careless. I'll probably lose a few things myself in case Biafra becomes a reality, a sacrifice I'm willing to make, but would rather not make given a better option. |
bolanto24:I don't get it too. I know people like TonyeBarcanista believe PDP will come back and fix Nigeria, and he's even excited that Igbos might get VP in PDP with an Northern President in 2019. What he doesn't know is that Igbos can dump PDP and negotiate with APC to support a Buhari's second term, paving for SE President earlier than PDP can manage. But in the end, what's does profit to be a President in Nigeria? Take a look at the North! Biafra is the hope! |
basilo101:Igbo also have oil and gas (in abundance). We have Innoson, and Zinox. We just want to be free from the failure/joke Nigeria has become! |
Truckpusher:Hehehehe, actually the picture you painted is the current picture. You have an opportunity to seek something better, rather than grab it, you are still pointing fingers. I fail to see how you can wriggle out of the situation in the Niger Delta especially in the area of resource control, and others. Me think it's easier to get a better deal in Biafra than in Nigeria. Currently Nigeria offer 13% derivative, and from every indication you could get close to 90% in Biafra. In the end, it's just a matter of time. The oil will run out and when it does, everyone in the South will become expendable to the North; and there will be no bargaining chips. Then the jungle will mature! |
bolanto24:Yes. It's an option. You can't keep people against their will, but we must work together to leave. |
To Ijaws, I'll say: Let us agree to secede and agree to secede again (if that's what you want) after the secession. There we stand in the rain and shine shouting our voice hoarse; join us or miss the bus! The window is fast closing... |
It is much easier for Ijaws and others to control their resources in Biafra, than in Nigeria. Besides, in Nigeria, Ijaws will be discarded as soon the oil runs out. It's a no-brainer that the time to stand up and be counted is now. Ijaws should either add their voice to the IPOB protest or miss another golden opportunity. The window is fast closing. Not many poeple like the way Kanu started the agitation, but that was the only way to ignite the passion, arouse interest, and keep the momentum. It's sanctioned by experts such as Sun Tzu, Art of War, when he wrote: When you engage in actual fighting (or protesting), try to gain victory before you exhaust your strength. In order to kill the enemy, your men must be aroused to anger and motivated to win. |
Buhari, who won elections in March on a populist, reformist, anti-corruption platform, took nearly five months to name his cabinet, and only announced which of his nominees would hold which portfolios on November 11, when they were sworn in.This just about summarised the article. The duara dullard is aka Baba Go-Slow. He's slowness in thinking, and acting exacerbate the situation, now he has to do catch up. However one thing the Forbes article failed to mention is the much touted talk of diversifying the economy. One would have thought that attention and effort would be given to the agricultural ministry in the form of an energetic and dynamic minister like the last occupant of that very strategic ministry. But what do we have? A 68 old career politician - Audu Ogbeh! ![]() |
E don start... |
@Op, Everyone must fight for their cause. If our cause converges, all well and good. But you must make a stand, and it just a single spark to light a fire! |
Abagworo:Let's even assume for a moment that IPOB is a PDP related issue, in other words it's a PDP orchestrated political reaction, shouldn't the duara dullard engage his political machinery to deal the the issues they are raising? Or you think that by branding it a PDP affair, you have dealt with the problem of people on the street? Is show of force, or suppression the best way to deal with a "PDP Affair" ? Should Political issue be settled politically? Beside isn't it an indictment on the current government that the much maligned PDP is able to raise such mammoth crowd and organise these massive protest? Personally, I think the matter is never PDP and it's even beyond PDP; I believe the people on those streets have genuine concerns which should be addressed. Labeling it "PDP Affairs" is defeatist, and shirking responsibility, and it won't solve the problem. Rather it will enable to continue to continue to grow, fester, and hopefully become a reality. Buhari caused the problem, Buhari should fix it; this is a bad time to play the ostrich. |
