So, if you have a case in court and a paper was served...whose advice are you going to follow.... journalist's or a lawyer's advice
You are so mentally -blinded that you cannot think straight... What's the meaning of forfeit? |

Politics › Re: Keyamo: Tinubu’s Forfeiture Of $460,000 Was Civil, Not Criminal by PointZerom: 8:23pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
tesppidd: I watched Keyamo on Channels last night.
Channels tv should have invited another lawyer along with Keyamo to expantiate on all the legal jargons Keyamo was spewing.
I don't want to be emotional and sentimental about his explanation because I know that law and common sense sometimes do not align.
We need lawyers to either corroborate or counter Keyamo's explanations.
For instance;
*Is it true that fine and forfeiture are not the same in law? *Is it true that Tinubu's accounts were the ones sued but not the man Tinubu? ( This does not make sense in logic but I don't know about in legality) *Is it true that accounts can be sued but not the person who owns the account.? *Is it true that Tinubu was not a defendant in the case? And if so that does not indict him?
Lawyers give us answers. Seun..... Forfeit is a penalty. KEYAMO...No it's not a penalty. Seun... Dictionary says it's a penalty. KEYAMO... Dictionary meaning is different from legal meaning. Honestly Keyamo is a disgrace to SANship. |

OsunOriginal: Yesterday, two major presidential campaign rallies were held in the country. One in Benue by Obi, the LP candidate, and the other in Borno by Atiku, the PDP candidate. The two candidates were on the same ticket in 2019 but decided to part ways for the 2023 elections. Maybe Atiku decided, this time around, to use another candidate, which he thinks will be more marketable to all regions of the country. Anyway, in Nigeria, we know what a presidential campaign usually looks like and the festivity that goes with it. Looking at the pictures below, you can easily tell which one was actually a presidential campaign and which one looks more like a gathering at a village square for a naming or wedding ceremony organized by the king. Gradually, we're beginning to see what the evening of Feb 25th will look like. If yes pls be kind enough to publish such here ,even hushpuppy still g0t convicted for 11 years even after restitution of 1.4m dollars, pls show us where tinubu served time for dealing drugs ? 3 sets of people usa don't negotiate with : terrorist, drug dealers and fraudsters. CoronaVirusRelo: A debate is not demanded by the constitution and electoral act, and can only be voluntary, which is not mandated.
The electorates should be left to decide irrespective of whether President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attends a debate or not.
Asiwaju, The Albert Einstein of Nigerian poitics, knows his political base, and not shaken or worried.
Some unscrupulous things are just idle and trying to derail a political demigod like Asiwaju! I can assure all of them that, they will be wailing for next 8 years!
Peter can keep hawking across media houses and it still won’t deter or alter Asiwaju’s victory History has shown that those who claim to love Nigeria are the real enemies of Nigeria.
