it is no more news that ASUU had suspended her almost 3 months strike. so students have u started any concrete academic work? |
the guys deserves it. others should strive to be more commited and put up their besty performance |
its obvious nigerians at large are not happy with the nigerian police. but may be we should encourage them by saying kudos. |
i quite agree with the first commentator, let prophet TB be categorical as per whether we are qualifying or not. then i will be convincingly convinced. the guy is a nice man sha considering his philantropic gestures. the source of his power and money should be left to himself and his ctreator. |
osupa has no rival when it comes to quality music, gaskia. |
not that am short of words, but jst that i dont want to be insultive. god wil surely deliver us. |

The iroko tree has fallen; shocking indeed was the news of chief Gani fawehinmi’s death. The human right activist, the social critics, the hope of the hopeless, the legal luminary and the defender of the masses is no more. I wish it were false but it is nothing but true; the senior advocate of the masses is dead. I implore and pray that may almighty Allah forgive his sins, grant his family the fortitude to bear his eternal absence and make him an inmate of Aljannah. His many virtues can never be extensively explored. He was a role model to many in his chosen career and several facets of life. Nigeria and Nigerians will indeed miss him. Eerin nla lo ni nu igbo. Chief Gani’s death will no doubt creates a huge vacuum in the Nigerian socio-political entity. The dogged fighter is no more, the defender of the masses has gone forever, the human right activist has been forced by death to permanently down tools, the outstandingly selfless person has finished his God - sent assignment on the planet earth, the philanthropist has breathed his last one on the early hour of September the 5th, 2009. Ah Mr. death, you are so great that Chief Gani could not ensued you in a legal battle as to what right you have to take his soul. Ah Mista! U must be really cruel. We will want to take solace in the fact that you actually want to serve as a train that will take the great philanthropist to the paradise. Let alone that, the legal profession, the poor masses, the elites, the deprived, the democrats and the entire Nigerian populace would have waged a legal and non legal battle on you Mr death. Quite disrespectful you are Mr death, you never even cared to consider the relevance of Gani in our society before using your cold hand on him. Only God, the creator, the ever living, the most knowledgeable, and the commander in chief of everything (angel Death inclusive) can justify and rationalise your action before the aggrieved and the bereaved lovers of the senior advocate of the masses. Only God knows whether there is a replacement for the calibre of Gani in this generation. He is a rare creature i have ever seen i must confess. He fought for the masses all through his life till his moment of dying; he never forgot to give his last words to the poor masses and the Nigerian people. He was reported to have said that he will keep up the struggles and fights even in his grave. Incredible it sounds! That is the extent to which he loves and appreciates the masses and the down trodden. May Allah subuhana watahala in his infinite mercy grant him eternal bliss and make him a dweller of Aljanah in the hereafter. To chief Gani’s family; do take heart and do nothing to soil the reputation of the social crusader, may Allah continue to guide and bless your family. To Nigerians let’s pray for him and immortalise his soul for he deserves nothing short of that. O Allah, consider the greatness of this holy month (ramadhan) and grant him eternal bliss. Amin |
shocking indeed but real.may her soul rest in peace. may she not know d torment of d grave and that of d hell fire. think its high time we take lessons from mr death. it spares nobody irrespective of his or her status when d appointed time comes. who knows the next victim of this angel of God? olohun gba wa |
u guys should be mature about ur responses and utterances. if its true i think it is another worst thing to happen to d nigerian economy. |
guess my money is save with oceanic bank sa o. |
may be this kind of strikes is no more new to the nigerian populace. i remember experiencing six months ASUU strike around 2002/2003 as a student. Prof Aborisade (edu minister) and Baba iyabo were at d helms of affairs then. lets continue to pray that they will feel what d poor masses are feeling. |
i beg where d test dey take place? |
You must have heard lately that UNILAG management wanted to conduct exams for her students amidst the ASUU strike. The action of the VC to defy the ASUU strike and go ahead to conduct the exam took another dimension when the member of ASUU UNILAG and the Non-Academic Staff went on rampage insisting that no exam will be conducted. The students the students were chased from their hostels and and the VC had to run for his dear life. God have mercy. Nairalanders what's your reaction to this? Any party to be applauded or blamed? Lend your voice. |
wow! i must ve missed. i actually discovered ds section of NR two or three weeks ago & v not visited lately. i would ve love to be there, not because of d food though, but to meet my fellow brothers in d deen.kudos to jarus, nice initiative. may allah uplift you. |
infact i attended a friends wedding yesterday and was prostrating along side my friends 4 d inlaws. i was also made to partially dance to the anthems of d alaga iduro and d alaga ijoko. did i go wrong? never tempted to eat anyway |
who crowned k1? what s their weight in d fuji industry? was barrister dead when he became d king? he has had enough stay and d pendulum has swung: his music can no longer stand with that of osupa d icon of good fuji music. the rave of d moment. he is no doubt d king |
na wa ooooooooooo! only God knows d next victim. we really need prayer in this country |
mama gee abi wetin u call ur sef. we know ur type. u listen to this genre of music secretly. i wonder why people pretends. i wonder who will crucify you if you say the truth. i attended the university they form the most, u need to see how they listen and dance to this genre of music. try listen to king saheed osupa and understand what fuji represent. i agree that the list is not complete without marshal i want to believe d poster opined that he has out stayed as the king of fuji and more so he is not in the generation of the listed fuji musician. somebody said osupa is arrogant and disrespectful, the young who peeps the buttock of the elder should realise that there is somebody younger also peeping is looking at his buttock. d person dt said this should understand what i mean. to be sincere i ve never met any of this fuji musician before but i like osupa for d quality message he spread via his musical lyrics. i tip him (osupa) as being worthy of a king. though i dont heavily subscribe to him being disrespectful. |
one need to listen to osupas music to really appreciate that he is an icon of fuji music. too much message |
Wow! what a topical issue, basking4me was just a little faster than i am to kick start the d topic. Anyway i ve to lend my voice as a faithful nairalander and fuji music listener. pasuma really worked hard to earn himself stardom. He has once sung very good music but i think he is consolidating on that. Doubt if there is any message filled and quality music in his “ agodo orin (music house)”. No doubt he is the favourite of so many As for papa Obesere (KP 1) he had actually worked hard to earn himself a place in the fuji music industry. For now he too is consolidating on that. His effort to better humanity is widely acknowledged. More money as you give cheerfully. malaika is a good singer and dancer. King of generation he is but he couldn’t figure out his generation. pasuma and osupa are not in his generation but muri thunder, safejo amama etc. i appreciate him too. saka orobo was once a fuji musician but now a ceremonial head of fuji musician. Atawewe (the ETU of fuji) can not even aspire to be one (king). I think he should maintain his champion. He has once made name for himself too. Of course king marshal is not in these peoples category. He is d ultimate king as he called himself. But it should be noted that is turn by turn. Oluaye is still maintaining well his champion and consolidating very well. undoubtedly, king saheed osupa, olufimo akoko, matagbamole, ifokanbale fuji, the philosophy doctor (though controversial personality) is the rave of the moment take it or leave it. His albums are ever green, message filled, melodious and educative. He really worked hard to earn himself a top place among his mates. Have you listen to reliable and respect, endorsement, fuji icon and many others. Wonder if there is a spirit that brings music to this guy, he is just 2 much and so confident that his agodo (music house) is still filled with ever green music. I cannot but doff my hat for the fuji icon himself (king saheed osupa). kabieeeessssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiii oooooooooooooooo. ka de pe lori . The awo ijaya himself. marshal, obesre, osupa, pasuma are no doubt factors to reckon with in the fuji music industry . se mo wi re abi mi o wi re? |

great nairalanders, is there anybody in the house who was interviewed lately (last week wednesday) in UBA house? i was called for interview last week and i very much believe i dazzled the interviewers. they told me they will get back to me. i just want to know if there is anybody in the house in the same shoe with me or anybody who knows how soon they use to get back to applicants or any relevant information on this topic? |
I share the belief that any rumour that makes the rounds might have an element of truth. If the loggerhead is really true I think they better expedite action in resolving it. The duo actually represents an important factor in Lagos and the southwest politics. |
i am a faithful graduate who seeks a faithful lady between 18 and 27 for a serious relationship. u may reach me on 07028313102 |
On a more serious note the universities in Nigeria do not measure up virtually in all aspects with their counterpart in the globe. But in the midst of the blind the one – eyed will definitely be the king. |
