Job Description:
We are seeking talented and passionate news writers to join our team. As a news writer, you will be responsible for creating timely, accurate, and compelling news stories that resonate with our audience and support our mission.

Responsibilities:

-Research and write news articles on various charity-related topics, including health, education, environment, social justice, community development, and more.
-Conduct interviews with charity leaders, volunteers, and beneficiaries to gather insights and stories.
-Develop feature articles, news stories, and opinion pieces that align with our publication’s mission and style.
-Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm content ideas and ensure timely delivery of articles.
-Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the charity sector to produce relevant and timely content.
-Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to our editorial guidelines.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a writer, journalist, or content creator, preferably with a focus on charity, nonprofit, or social impact topics.
-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
-Ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
-Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
-Passion for charity work and a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector.
-Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization is a plus.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
