Hahahahahaha,be ready to hug transformer Ooo koboko69: The state of emergency have had little or no effects since it was declared. the only effects we have seen so far is some Generals pockets and bank accounts getting fatter, over 200 missing girls, little kids bombed to death like chickens, gallant soldiers and officers being killed like rams...etc. When the FG and the Nigerian military top brass really wants to end this madness, it will take them less than a month. for now its all about political gains and money.

Politics › Re: Pat Utomi To Run As Delta State Gov In 2015 by Pontaboki: 7:18am On Jan 04, 2014 |
Which Rochas, you have finally gone mad for saying this!!! munky: I think we have a long way to go in Nigeria. So just because Utomi is a member of ACN, then he is an efulefu. By the way, is Delta State part of Igboland? at least listen to his plan and policies before castigating him. Nnamdi Azikiwe won elections in the old western region based on his oratory and political skills.
The civil war happened 40 years ago, its time we moved on. I am an igbo man and the truth is that Yorubas and Igbos are very much alike in their aspirations. we all want to live peacefully, make money, enjoy life and be merry. So why all the politics of rancour.
In Anambra state, the town where the state university is located is in perpetual darkness. Igbariam is not even connected to the national grid. students live solely on generators. This can never happen in the south west. And they have a Governor. Dr chris ngige is not a saint, so am not going into whether he should win or not. However, the people should vote for policies and manifesto and not propaganda.
In Abia state, the clown in the government house is a monumental failure. He is enjoying himself because he is in PDP. Rochas is trying his best, the only governor in the southeast to declare free education. Even the great Zik didnt do that. Still, hes been castigated because he joined APC. Ebonyi state is never in the news, the state is one of the worst in Nigeria based on Human Development Index but the governor is not troubled because he is in PDP.
Enugu state governor is a good example of a performing governor that quietly goes about his business.
my point is judge Amechi, Ngige, Rochas, Utomi and the rest based on their policies, dreams, aspirations and achievements.
Even Mandela forgave his white oppressors for the good of South Africa.
Thanks |

Just make a call and ask anyone in Imo State about Rochas. If the first answer is no that Rochas is a Thief, come back and arrest me. Chimoski87: It amazes me why everything in Nigeria must have a POLITICAL undertone. If the state government being lead by the PEOPLE'S governor Owelle Is wrong in collecting these levies which the banks say it is wrong, why can't they go to the court of statutory jurisdiction to get a court injunction restraining the state government from harassing them as they have been alleging. I hope this is not part of the moves of Papa Destroy Pikin ( PDP ) being led by the Undisputed Clueless Commander. In Chief Of Corruption to forestall developments in Imo while trying to dent the image of the people's governor. It shall be well with this country one day Amen |

You are fool,Rochas is broke and will go to jail. zealed64: yea, it's just unfortunate.. Does it mean all these while the banks have not been paying their taxes?..
OHAKIM GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE BEEN PATRONIZING CROOKED DEAL WITH THEM DURING HIS TIME..! I HEARD THE TAX IS AMOUNTING TO BILLIONS OF NAIRA( arrears accumulated)... They should investigate properly who's been consuming these monies before now (both banks and govt officials).. |

My broda,Banks were shut down because Rochas we have not been paying the right amount of Income Tax.And I ask him,who did the computation to amount to a single branch owing up to N600m,this is ridiculous.Imo State is broke and we all know it,Imo State is heavily indepted. But this fight he will lose, cos all Banks in Imo State have shut down including AtMs,so let's see who will back down. The people are angry and may like revolt against him aguiyi: sound so much like an insider.

No street light and trafic light in onistha nigth life is a history. wasted eight year of turture, no local gov election that is suppose to creat over 100,000 jods both direct and indirect. Many Youth are suppose to be cancellor by now. All Ada obi do is to buy old and refurbished latops for schools and the whole media will carry the news. Yes it is,and it is not even sold in Owerri Imo State. We know the games, hahahahahahahaha take dat: Hogwash! NOI is incapable of ever accepting her little failings and intolerant of receiving knocks from analysts or criticism from the media. Criticism is the grist of Democracy. Punch's editorial was premised on the submission of the Comptroller General of Customs. I am sure the posters above me did not read the editorial published by Punch before the ethnic solidarity.
"The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko, had stunned a Senate joint-committee that by September, the nation had lost N603 billion to import duty waivers, exemption of levies, concessions and import substitution schemes. Of this amount, N264 billion was lost to waivers on petroleum products import and N76 billion to manufacturers and assembly plants. Corruption and fiscal indiscipline have obviously sunk to an unacceptable level. Even more stunning was the feeble attempt by Okonjo-Iweala to defend the reckless abuse of waivers and other incentives as policies designed to help certain sectors and generate jobs."
http://www.punchng.com/editorial/jonathan-okonjo-iweala-and-waivers/
Its become a crime for challenge Okonjo and speak against the waste in the system , why? Because of her academic excellence, and academic excellence does not make one a good manager of the economy. Her hallmark is singing aloud tunes that are discordant with the reality on ground. I trust the 'Ethnic Gangs' to label Punch a Yoruba party in a bid of defend NOI. |
