Well, info just reaching me now that a driver in Lagos got infected from one of his offline rider this period. Guys let stay away from strangers totally even offline trips has more likelihood of infected rider than online trips.

this business has no health insurance, if that driver falls sick today, uber, taxify or the rider wont do anything, they will continue going about their lives and business, while he treats himself, no flower, card or money will be sent to him

should a driver sacrifice his life for an unknown rider just because of professionalism and customer service?

what if he was lied to or threatened subtly, is taking the riders to their destination still professionalism?

in my opinion, there is a thick-line between commonsense and professionalism

one should know when to use commonsense and one should know when to also use professionalism

Where is the electricity to preserve foods, vegetables and other frozen foods?
If they decided to shut down local markets, where do people store to preserve food stuffs to keep them alive till the stipulated time of isolation?

the reason why the cases are 'suspect' is that the test kit is 300 britsih pounds per unit . they do not have enough in the uk. as for the us - that is a whole different horror story.

we do not have enough kits to test everyone with a cough and a fever. the only hope is that we will be asymptomatic [ idris elba has tested positive, but he has no symptoms per se]. with everything i have read, i am sure a lot of us already have it or have had it. my son was ill two weeks ago- a cough and a nasty bout of diarrhea. we had to admit him. it is not about contracting it, but if it starts to spread, the hospitals will not be able to cope. that is what 'leveling the curve' and the quarantine and isolation is about.

if we get to italy proportions we are done. we are probably 10,000 people to one doctor.
