Why u deh fall my hands like this, the city is not on lock down, stay at home is an advice, the job is not on duress, do drivers here tell u they have not been doing offline with known clients? Either right or wrong, its really not in ur place to judge that, even in Italy and USA where deh have high cases, ppl still go to work. The reason I didn't do it is left personal and I don't think this is the first time I am bringing an offline job here, why didnt u ask for reason then. Boss take em jeje, we go deh alright las las

Boss dis news is needless as long as its not uber Nigeria, 1000 plus have lost dia life's in USA, its time for global sobering and not to drive in undue points... Those 1k plus we've seen so far, have different occupations, nobody is listing that and he is just part of them, irrespective of what he does to survive.

You cancel the trip if you feel your health is at risk.

Humans are self fish especially during this virus period, they will tell you lies and manipulate you in doing their biddings while putting your health at risk.

This is not an emotional decision but a logical one, if you as a driver think your life and health is in danger, it is your right to end the trip.
I can't agree wit u less on dis, but whatever a man choose base on personal decision, I believe he is ready to live with the outcome, being professional or lost out on commonsense.

Last week I was at the Isolation centre, I was scared and I've been doing my distance isolation in my little way, but when I saw the premises and the happenings ard their, I know what we r scared of is out dia at large, not at the center, but wit a bit preventive measures, everyone will b fine

As for the riders having it and choose to b self fish? Such ppl may not know they have it, I think ignorance and fear of the unknown will b our greatest mistake in time like this.

sorry sir, how is that professionalism?

does professionalism means putting your life and health at risk for riders in a business where you have no protection?

this business has no health insurance, if that driver falls sick today, uber, taxify or the rider wont do anything, they will continue going about their lives and business, while he treats himself, no flower, card or money will be sent to him

should a driver sacrifice his life for an unknown rider just because of professionalism and customer service?

what if he was lied to or threatened subtly, is taking the riders to their destination still professionalism?

in my opinion, there is a thick-line between commonsense and professionalism

one should know when to use commonsense and one should know when to also use professionalism
Ma'am I wish u can attend to this post, cos lately I realise d level of no, u did wrong, but we don't try to put each other on the right path, I don't think that is fair.

Outside not using any measures of prevention at such point, what do u expect of the driver at a given point in time like that?

Felicity, your action is gross and more despicable than their actions. Let me drop it here and I've said it before, you lack discretion! You talk too much here. It's like you put your mouth and hands in motion before putting your brain in gear.
Boss easy on Felicity, I honestly can't fault him per say, please folks pardon my observation, lately all dis platform built is boost ego, try to sound political correct & validation, but inbtw that, we r still who we r.

@Pharod & Xneg, I salute ur courage... I understand how this job and platform can absorb one, most especially if u don't have mind of ur own, the unnecessary foisting, can make one feel so high and arrived.

@Felicity, it has been done and can't b undone and at the same time I believe no man really knows, following the rules of e hailing and ur believe u maybe right, but let's put it this way... The first rule in life generally is safety, then we can either put our faith or human face in place of each other... You can't say u r d most righteous man on earth, then wot happened to ur human face, how r u sure dose 2 ppl made it out if 3rd MB? What if deh have grabbed u and turn d story ard? if God decide to harshly punish ur sin's, will u survive today? Yes! You have warn them, but I think we need to understand, overlooking breed peace of mind, a man with patient have an inestimable value in him and to cap it the man apologised. Please boss, don't get to high on what u read here, have ur own guts and instinct. When u r out, think about home, ur family and how u plan to rest ur head at night when u get home, that in some cases help to put some things in check, the rider u have with u in most cases end after 80 mins, so stick ur eyes to ur goals, u honestly can't change d world or human, let God do his job.

The girl dat got d worst bashing last time may still b somewhere doing her regular.

That shit has happened twice .one on weekend evening, d oda Friday in d evening too. App says Ikeja , but na brown street for oshodi we go end up.

Thank God say na against traffic both movt dey
Some part of oshodi is classified under Ikeja, like that Army Market, Ketu ends at Magodo, Mushin can b ilupeju, Apapa can b orile/ Ebutte, but ask if the spirit lead. Like a day ard 6pm, I got a request and it display surulere, I didn't ask, just drove down, rider was even buzzing me to hurry up with endless calls, only to start trip and saw suru-alaba. I didn't mix my words, sorry ma'am I can't go to this location by this time of the day.

Inbtw: please take note of riders on keffi junction this is the second time I'm picking someone and won't get my money on same spot. Here is the guy number 0808 819 0765, I pick him up from Awolowo rd to bishop aboyode Cole, we chat all thru and was even sharing different opinion, it was so easy for me to allow transfer, not knowing they will b part 2 to the story.

Stocking ur home with food stuffs can only be achieved abroad not in naija.
Where is the electricity to preserve foods, vegetables and other frozen foods?
If they decided to shut down local markets, where do people store to preserve food stuffs to keep them alive till the stipulated time of isolation?
Im so sorry for this country as we can copy other countries but cant put in place the facilities

corona virus is minor case compare to the deadly diseases that have been taking african's life.Nigeria my dear country. Another avenue to loot money.
Next month, 100billion spent on corona virus treatment.
Its a good tin and at the same time a bad tin, we r yet to record any positive case, but every is already shutting down, ppl don't want to come out, even me am thinking if I should drive, cos of low riders. Now, imagine if they say the virus have killed 3 Nigerians, that's nobody will step out atall

the reason why the cases are 'suspect' is that the test kit is 300 britsih pounds per unit . they do not have enough in the uk. as for the us - that is a whole different horror story.

we do not have enough kits to test everyone with a cough and a fever. the only hope is that we will be asymptomatic [ idris elba has tested positive, but he has no symptoms per se]. with everything i have read, i am sure a lot of us already have it or have had it. my son was ill two weeks ago- a cough and a nasty bout of diarrhea. we had to admit him. it is not about contracting it, but if it starts to spread, the hospitals will not be able to cope. that is what 'leveling the curve' and the quarantine and isolation is about.

if we get to italy proportions we are done. we are probably 10,000 people to one doctor.
Crack a smile at the 10, 000 ppl to one doctor, u r right and hope ur son is good now? I learnt the test kit is expensive and more reason its getting rampant in UK cos its not free like other countries, back home here, people can't subject to test, maybe for lack of money and treatment, the isolation and rejection is enough to kill one. I thumb Lagos centre up because the picture I saw about Enugu is a no no, they just furnish the Lagos own with a tight security in place.

Below is the picture of on of the person I took dia, among the Italian man, I even saw the man in white and red tie as he was walking/working effortlessly with his security and PA following his step like flies all around the premises... Going dia, I was so scared, not until I got to the premises from the gate, no face mask, even the nurse muyiwa's were going abt freely, chawing to the point of me asking myself, am I sure its this place, the rider have not been dia before, we have to ask for direction, the place is just beside military barracks and a federal govt secondary school, people were doing normal petty trade and its a stone throw from yaba tech. That made me to gather a bit courage that nothing is going to happen, tho as the woman pay me I just kept her money separately in d car for fuel while I bath with my sanitizer. All I observe is if we truly have the virus as ppl made it believe it can easily be contacted, then everyone in that area is not safe, in 3 weeks from now I expect volumes of eventuality abt stories that touch the mind.

My mind is even playing tricks on me, tho I didn't alight from d car cheesy and I can see ppl with d man in question without any form of protection

We are not taking this seriously at all. And we do not have the infrastructure if it starts going geometric. How many doctors are there per person. How many hospital beds?

This state in particular is not even set up for social distancing as too many people are gig workers, and Danfo is 5 person per row
I agree with you boss, the truth is mental wise, we r not build for this kind of pandemic situation, but with what I saw today, Lagos start can still manage few cases, anything outside, they will b problem.

On d second tot, we r yet to witness any indigene with positive outcome, all the case we have r suspect, so I see no reason for all these panicking and ban of activities, all we need is take necessary measures

I rush down to change d park bulbs. So the work has been a drag as at 3 my dashboard is still 3k, what a mess up day, fortunately I find myself in lekki and as I was praying for mainland trip, this Lagos mainland trip beep, got to pick up point
