factsandfigures: The problem with Nigerians is that we are too sentimental and always trying to justify wrong doings by citing examples of others who who committed the same crimes and seems to get away with it. Some of us voted for PMB because we wanted change but that should not make us intellectually fraudulent by shying away from facts. It is a well known fact that the greatest asset of PMB prior to contesting for President was integrity. But he is fast loosing it. Infact he is no longer In charge of his government. The issue here is the glaring incompetence of PMB in tackling corruption. I will cite some few examples by asking the following questions:
1. Why did it took him so long to look into the corruption allegations against the SGF and NIA director and why have they not been handed over to Efcc for prosecution?
2. Why is the president afraid of calling the DSS to order. Twice they wrote adverse reports on Magu to the Senate despite the fact that the President nominated Magu?
3. If the adverse reports written by DSS is true why is the President insisting on nominating Magu?
4. is the President aware of Maina reinstatement as alleged by the head of service and Maina himself?
5. If he was aware why is he shying away from taking responsibility?. If he is convinced that Maina is innocent why not not follow due process to reinstate him?
6 Why is he still retaining the AGF,Minister of interior and HOS despite their role they played in the illegal reinstatement of Maina?
7. Why did the government chickened out in the alleged false asset declaration case of the Senate President
8. Why did he not properly handle the issue of the award of $26billion and irregular appointments by NNPC GMD?
9. What is he doing about the show of shame between the DSS and EFCC where the former prevented the latter from arresting the former director of DSS?
10. Despite the alleged interventions running into billions of dollars to save the naira, why is the Naira still above 350 to a dollar? The formal CBN governor Sanusi Lamido stated it last year that people are becoming overnight billionaire at the expense our exchange rate Voodoo Economy.
I hate it when people start referring to the last regime to justify the incompetence of the present regime. We voted because we wanted change. Nigeria Economy is in dire state and we are going the way of Venezuela. The 2018 budget is dead on arrival. Presently Nigeria is using one third of our revenue to service debt and yet we are mortgaging the future of our children by borrowing more without corresponding value adding infrastructure! We will be doing great disservice to ourselves and our children if we fail to tell ourselves the truth. Facts and Figures don't lie. The foreign investors knows better that is why they are running away from Nigeria. We will not be helping our President if we don't tell ourself bitter truth . Thanks for these questions for the blind supporters of Buhari. I guess blacks have to be blacks. There is a reason why we don't have a developed country run by blacks. |

In a normal society with decent humans, this Daura man should have resigned. But not in the zoo. The idi*t even has the audacity to be defending his action of providing DSS security for a man that was officially a fugitive from the law. So I guess DSS should be providing security details for Nnamdi Kanu too. Buhari is really a bad omen for Nigeria. |

emmasege: Did they? Bello was never their candidate, either in APC or PDP. Gbenga Faleke should have been returned as the duly elected governor of Kogi state following Abubakar's death. The caliphate would never want a Yoruba and christian for that matter, to govern the state; hence the delay in announcing Abubakar's death until the election had been declared inconclusive.
I don't see Kogi people returning this fool of a governor to their government house in 2020. He's as empty as the Daura Dull.ard. People actually get the leadership they deserve. The late Abubakar they voted for was a Governor of the State that looted the State blind. When he was campaigning, I remember him saying that if he wins that he would refund the money he embezzled. This should have been enough not to vote him. But the electorate knew better. |

The igbos will have a better chance at the 2023 presidency if they can allow Fulani herdsmen to graze all over igbo land like Bello just did. We are one Nigeria, let's act it and stop being hypocrites You can keep the Presidency, and your herdsmen. We prefer to watch you and your herdsmen from the sidelines. |

MrOlai: GHADAFI
"I will not go into exile to any foreign country. I was born here in Libya, and I will die here. This country was a dessert, and I turned it into a forest, where everything can grow. No one Love this land more more than its citizens. If Europe and America tells you that they love you, be careful. They love the wealth of your land. The oil and not the people. They are helping you to fight against me but, it will be more wise for you to fight against them because they are fighting against your future and progress.
My message to you the people of Libya is, they are helping you to kill me but you will pay the price because you will suffer. And my message to you America and Europe is, you will kill me, but be ready to fight a never ending TERRORISM. Before you realise your ignorance, terrorists will be hitting you at your doorstep."
GADDAFI once told the Nigerian and British governments to divide Nigeria into two, so that the Hausa/Fulani (Moslems), Yoruba (Christians) and Biafrans/Igbo, can live as neighbouring countries.
It's good we look at these 16 REAL REASONS WHY COL. GADDAFI WAS KILLED:
1. There is no electricity bill in Libya, electricity is free for all its citizens.
2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens are at a 0% interest by law.
3. Home is considered a human right in Libya. Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home.
4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinars (US$50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment.
5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi, only 25% of Libyans were literates. Today, the figure stands at 83%.
6. Libyans taking up farming as a career, they received farm land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free.
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they needed in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad for it.
8. In Gaddafi's Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price. 9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally.
11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. A mother who gave birth to a child under Gaddafi, received US $5,000 as child benefit upfront.
14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15
15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree.
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man- Made River Project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.
If this is called "Dictatorship", I wonder what type of Leadership Democrats have!! Wow! The man was prophetic. Libyans would be regretting going against Ghaddafi. America and Europe deceived them big time. |

fcmacdon: Before the current Oba of Benin assumed office this year or early last year, the Ijaws in Ovia had their Kings - the Pere of Olodiama and the Agadagba of Egbema. Pere of Olodiama. Mid-Western State of Nigeria Gazette, No. 56, Vol. 10 dated 10th October 1973,State Traditional N.S.L.N. 62 of 1973, the Constitution (Suspension and Modification) Decree, 1966, Iyekuselu District Council (Appointment of Chieftaincy Committee) Order, 1973 gave a legal backing to the Pere of Olodiama with his seat at Ikoro, in Olodiama Clan. The Agadagba of Egboma. The Bendel State Traditional Rulers and Chief Edict 1979, extraordinary Gazette No. 51 Vol. 16 of September 28, 1979 gave a legal teeth to the Agadagba of Egbema with four ruling villages. It is on record that Late Oba Akenzuwa II of blessed memory sent the father of present Oba in 1953 to Ikoro to Represent him in the installation of the Pere of Olodiama {the traditional head of the Ijaws} Ijaws Are Part Of Edo State and Not Under Benin Kingdom. Heartbender: This act of the Binis in Edo state is a wildfire waiting for the match stick to strike. Bini are not the only tribe in Edo state. When the military partitioned tribes into states they didn't consider people but land mass. That's why you'll see people from Benue state being part of Cross River and some tribes in Enugu having a language and custom totally alien to the Igbos. Ijaws are water people. You'll find them along coastal regions mostly even as far as Benin Republic, Ivory Coast, Ghana, etc. For a sect to want to forcefully merge another sect by compelling obedience through coercion and dark rhetoric it shows the end of its civilisation or empire. The Old Benin Empire found this truth through bitter means. Even the British, Roman, Egyptian, etc empires. I wish our African generation and all of mankind would have common sense. Well said. I don't know why the Bini people would want to impose their Oba on the indigenous Ijaw from Edo State. Oba of Bini Kingdom is not the same thing as Oba of Edo State. The Bini people are just unnecessarily looking for trouble. |
