Obasanjo is not a member of the PDP. He is a closet member of the failed APC. He does not have a large following and actually lost election in his ward in Ogun State. He should not have any input into who becomes the PDP flag bearer. As a matter of fact, all the Presidents he helped to foist on gullible Nigerians have been total failures: Shagari, Yaradua/Jonathan, and the worst President Nigeria have had so far, tribalist Buhari. Some of us well meaning Nigerians are actually ok with the leaks. We need to know what is going on. If the leaks did not happen, we may never get to hear about the atrocities being committed by Buhari and his dubious team.

Of course Buhari was involved in the shameful reinstatement of Maina. His Special Assistant on Prosecution, Mr Okoi-Obono Obla, a Lawyer, was on Channels TV on Sunday arguing with Barr Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa in defense of the reinstatement. He came across as a foolish and incompetent Lawyer trying to rationalize the action. The brilliant Barr Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa made him look stupid. In light of his pay master Buhari making a u-turn on him, he should resign if he has any respect for himself.
