UKVI sent a mail this morning that they have escalte the issue that it will take them 15 working days again that i should not contact them with this time frame.

please guru in the house what is happening?
is everything still ok i'm confused?

Alausa passport office: DIY Renewal
Applied online: June 8
Interviewed/Dropped forms: June 10
Received sms for capture: 11pm June 17
Captured: June 18
Picked up passport: Today, July 22

The printout had said to pick up passport in August but went today after seeing the posting from those who had picked up theirs. Passport was actually printed two weeks ago.

And now they have a sign at the office that says renewal take 3 weeks to be ready while fresh applications take 6 weeks.

Since it’s taking time to drop, I would advise you to contact @adebisilucy here because sometimes NIN takes 6months to drop naturally and by that time your passport payment would have expired and you will be ask to make another payment or go through hectic validation process. Do something to make it drop before the 6th month

After 6 months I finally got my passport today, don’t wait for message or anything just go there, drop your slip in the collection box at the entrance, they’ll call your name if it’s ready, and if it’s not they’ll return your slip and tell you why it is not ready

My experience at Alausa today.
I got a text message yesterday to come for my capturing,I decided to go today,I got to Alausa very early around to 7am, they started calling names around 8am and I was one of the first set who went in for capturing today, around after 9am I was done. I thank everyone one this group for answering my questions and for putting me through.

Port Harcourt people you need to rise and speak for yourself before this gets out of hand. Form an alliance and report to the official NIS numbers. It will be good to have names of officers doing this

For those that will be going to Alausa passport office via DIY route, ensure you ask questions as many times as possible from those Servicom people esp the two ladies by the stairs inside cos they will intentionally withhold information on the next stage just to make you fall into the hands of their fellow officers for some amount of money. There is another form to be attached to other document in your file (3pcs) ,they may lie to you that the form is available online and ask that you go back &print, tell them it is not ,they will eventually give you and ask you to make copies and return their's.

I just apply online, my interview date is 12th of July which is a month time, should I wait till the interview date to submit all the necessary document or I can go to Alausa tomorrow?
Is there a way I can capture and do the interview before the interview date please?
