The phone number you quoted is tied to an unverified profile

Look well there is a verified tick on it. The blue is obvious, they can photoshop it too

Despite banks warning never to give your card or bank details to anyone u still mistaken did, now u want to go and disturb God as if He hasn't refered pple to you to warm u ahead of time. Nawa.

What if this person is actually lying? What if they weren’t even scammed? That they’re just making these claims so someone in Nairaland will send them money. Who doesn’t know that OTP is for transactions?
I may be wrong though but this is my first instinct with this story.

I was wondering myself.
All these people would just come up with stories that I revealed my account number,BVN,or my card was stolen and my account wiped off,etc.
I repeat,even if you leave your card on the street,or you tell someone your BVN etc,no one can take money from your account without either an ATM pin or OTP in this op's case.
For someone to disclose an ATM pin or OTP to someone is where the foolishness lies.

When dealing with organization on twitter, ensure it is verified if not you are dealing with scammers.

The scammer asked for my card details which I told him no, but he assured me that he is not a scammer. I sent it, but the card still didn’t work so I transferred my money to my dad’s account hoping to use his card, but the customer care kept disturbing me that they want to help me resolve it. I had to beg my dad to transfer back but he kept forgetting to transfer back and I was pissed!!!! I kept calling for hours till he finally did tonight and the customer care wiped off my account after I sent the OTP codes to him foolishly, thinking I was chatting with their staff!

After my account got wiped off, it was then I realized the mention on my Twitter was from a dorm account on Twitter!

I am in so much pains guys!

why will you send all your full cards? bank might ask for your card but it will only be FIRST 4 DIGITS AND LAST 4DIGITS not full card

They are very wicked, mine was similar but not card type. I wan send the money, network commot for my phone for almost 5mins. The idiot bombarded me with calls, something come tell me something isn't right. Somehow, I decided to continue and boom, the guy blocked me, 20k waka

probably they used jazz on you cos I couldn't see how an adult like you would be this stupid, you chatted with someone one and exchange your card details and couldn't go to Ur bank branch. You trusted social media where there are numerous fake account impersonating the other

Never try to resolve bank issues outside the bank. Always find time to go your bank except you’re abroad, of course.

8 out of 10 Nigerian youths are scammers. Talking from experience.

Very insensitive thrash talk.

It is not, the only thing a customer care representative will ask you online whether twitter / WhatsApp or whatever is your name and account number.

Anything other than that just know that it is scam, if you listen to radio,watch TV or check their online advert they will always tell you this, don't send your card details to anyone.

Well I believe she have learnt her lesson, hopefully the culprit will be apprehended soon.
