Why not, as long as you have not been idle or have any study gap from 2014 till date..

Yes, you can be a self sponsor if you know you can meet or even exceed the financial requirement of IRCC ....

Peace

Enick:
Is it possible for someone who graduated in 2014, Bsc program to get a study permit for a master's degree?

If I have the financial resources, can I sponsor myself?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

masters in Canada is usually 2 years .The thing with self sponsorship is that you must have your full school fees ,ur living expenses and like 3000CAD for transportation and miscellaneous in your account or give a valid explanation on how the money will come with substantial evidence. so if u got that covered, u r good to go.

That is why applicants should make mention of every document they are attaching in their SOP/LOE.

At least, they read SOP.

Please I did biometrics while applying for TRV 2/3 years ago through an agent in Lagos and I want to apply for a study visa now (Abuja) would I need to do the biometrics again? Then for submission of passport for stamping must it be through a courier or could be in person?

Thanks.

I think they check these things.

But in the event that they don't, the SOP is vital.

Thanks to all great minds who are impacting lives positively. You all are doing much more than the Presidency:

For MEng in UAlberta,Uwaterloo,UCalgary where a 3 Credit course cost CAD 1,800 on the average and its expected to take 8 compulsory courses with 3 electives. Want to know if CAD 30,000 is good to start with the tuition and other expenses.
Like how much do I need to have for a courses base master in any of these institutions?

Go back to where you did the Biometric, they are going to give you another slip, but it will be costly.

Hi gracedson,

Two questions please:
1. You mentioned somewhere that Transmission fee is 8920 naira but I can see 8200 naira here. Can you please confirm which is actually the correct fee?

2. Please how much did you pay for 2-way courier at DHL and the insurance cost?
I will be sending my passport on Monday.

Thanks. I will appreciate your response.

I am sorry I made a mistake, I am going to correct it right away, the correct amount is 8,920 NGN.
For the 2 ways courier and insurance, I paid less than 20k NGN, I think 18k and some kobo.

Have you contacted University of Manitoba Changing DLI means that you will forfeit this PPR and reapply for visa. That is not an option! Kai, how I wish you waited

Chipo14:
In this world wahala no dey finish. So here I am with a PPR and no Admission. I was withdrawn from my program and my tuition deposit of 2000 CAD is forfeited. Sigh!!

What's the process of changing my DLI please? And will it cost anything? My initial admission was for a year program which means I will have to enroll for another of 6months or longer to get the 3yr PGWP. My intended DLI is university of Manitoba. I am still search if I can get a longer program with them. I intend to do applied business analysis as I have an MBA already. Please gurus your input is needed.
