Good afternoon everyone.... God will favor you in all areas of your life for a good work you are doing on this lovely forum.

Pardon me for my curiosity observation......
I noticed most of our crucial questions we have been asking on this forum for a while are ignor without any contributions? The issues of self employed need to be sorting out, I believe we are here to learn and to guide other people around us not to fall into victim of so called AGENT

Please all our OGA at the top God will continue to shower you knowledge, understanding and wisdom AMEN AMEN.
Hello.
I would say only because this issue has been trashed and over beaten. If you take an hour out of your time and read earlier discussions you would see this.

The embassy is not exactly bothered if you are self employed or government/privately employed just be “gainfully employed” and have the paper work to prove your claim as to your source of livelihood.

So if you say you are self employed it is not enough to be publicly selling on Facebook and i Instagram also be duly registered with CAC. Submit your registration certificate alongside your business account with a letter of reference from the bank stating you are the owner and signatory, submit your personal bank account which ideally shows your expenditure and backs up the amount you put in the form and documents of any other income generating scheme you have going on when applying for your visa.

It really is that simple.

Good evening everyone in the house, most especially all our GURUS God will perfection everything concerns you Amen.

Please I have 2 urgent questions to ask inorder to help a friend of mine not to fall in travel agent hand.

First question
Is it possible for a self employed person to use only his saving account that shows is monthly salary income to apply without company account?

Lastly

Is it possible for someone that's employer is paying his salary through his saving account to use it to apply for a visitor Uk Visa ??

Please urgent response is needed ........

The issue with the first question is that you are self employed so if the money shows in your savings as your salary you have to tell them the source. So it will make sense to let them know who paid you so i will strongly advice against presenting just a savings account without documentation to buttress it.
For the highlighted question,if an employer is paying you then you are not self employed except you mean you are paying yourself.
Yes you can use a savings account to apply for a visa as that is fluid money too that shows your financial strength. What you should steer away from using is fixed deposits, shares and bond certificate, pension account and such as your main claim to funds that’s money at rest.

He is a minor but he still spends your money no? so calculate his needs and give an estimate as it is your statement of account and cover letter that would be included in his application.

Good evening everyone in the house, the Gurus most especially. So, I have finally prepared all the documents for submission next Monday and they are as follows:

1. Kids' birth certificates and school fees receipts.
2. 6 family pictures printed in coloured on an A4.
3. Property document of the flat we live in and the receipt and registration papers of my vehicle.
4. CAC registration documents and Certificate of Incorporation.
5. Business account statement with substantial amount plus a letter of reference from the bank that I am the sole signatory.
6. Personal account for most of my expenses with a balance of 205k.
7. Another personal account with 1.49 Mil that I hardly touch cos I use the account with 205k balance almost daily.
8. German residence and work permit.
9. Admisison letter from my current institution in Germany.
10. Previous refusal letter.
11. A cover letter addressing all the issues in the previous refusal letter with proofs to back everything up.
12. Professional certificate from Germany and the LL.M certificate from my previous graduate program in Germany
13. Invoices and receipts regarding my business here.

I had indicated on the visa application form that my budget for the trip is 2,000 Pounds and the exchange rate of that on Oanda as at today is 1,131,060 Naira.(£1-565 indicate what you used to arrive at your total)hope these documents are okay and if I need to remove and/or anything to it, please kindly advise as I am very nervous. Na beg I dey beg o my gurus.

You have been very meticulous about it especially no 10/11 as this would form the deciding factor.

I don’t see the need for number 8/9/12 as you are applying from Nigeria not Germany but hey every little helps so use you.

Very well done and i hope it is successful this time.cheers!.

Thanks for the soothing words. I would rather err on the side of surplusage than be refused on account of incomplete documentation once again. I have done my very best and would leave the rest to God. Would be submitting next Monday though, at Ikeja. Thanks for all the contributions so far and I hope it ends in praise.

Does it matter if the hard copy bank statement collected (UBA bank) is signed on each of the page or just the first page.
Must it be on each page ? Though I learnt they will verify it themself

If it were other threads like Canadian Express Entry, a lot of people would willingly respond to questions.angry Nevertheless, kudos to the few who make out time to respond.

Maybe you are asking a question that has been asked and answered multiple times....

Please I need informed answers to my questions regarding the UK Health and Care Visa (UK HAC):
1. What are the major criteria for getting a UK job offer in order to apply for the HAC Visa while in Nigeria?
2. Also, does having a Nigerian MSc in Public Health boost one's chances of getting a job offer under Allied Health Professionals (ONS 2219), which is also one of the shortage occupations?
3. Can one with a Nigerian BSc in a health-related profession get a UK job offer for Nursing Assistant/Healthcare Assistant (ONS 6141)? Thanks.

I assume this is your pressing question...you may wish to redirect it to a more appropriate thread as this thread is for General UK Visit Visa enquiries. grin

In my experience, I have observed that the more services you pay for, the easier your submission process (documents & biometrics only) will be.

Please read what I typed carefully so you do not misinterpret the meaning.

Yes, it is, bro. cry Unfortunately, there's no thread dedicated to UK Skilled Worker/Health and Care Visa.
@ Justwise , please, sir, on behalf of others in same shoes as I am, I implore you to create a thread specifically dedicated to UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health and Care Visa. Thanks in advance.

Hello Guys , please I need more information on how me as a Nigerian resident might be affected by the COVID 19 regulations in Qatar when travelling to the UK and my flight has a layover in Qatar. Would the Covid 19 test result which I intend to present at the UK airport suffice at Qatar airport and without complications?

Thanks

Hello everyone.

I am assisting my parents fill their visit Visa application. They are been invited by my sister in the UK; however, she would only be catering for their accommodation and feeding. My father would be handling their flight ticket to and fro for himself and my mother.

While filling the application for my mother, I indicated that my father (her husband) would be handling the travelling cost, and the budget is 1 million. Then I noticed that in the document checklist, one of the documents requested is "*evidence that your sponsor is not, or will not be, in breach of uk immigration laws at the time of your visit"

Please who understands what this means because my father is also based in Nigeria and they are travelling together? I didn't add my sister's details as the sponsor since she is only helping with accommodation and feeding.

I would appreciate your insight. Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 8:28pm On Sep 01, 2021
Each person’s form is separate so separate the costs. I am assuming the 1m is for both of them so lets say 500 per head so fill 500 on each form as cost personally to the person or so. Do not join both costs in one.
The evidence tht sponsor will not be in breach... add your sister’s british passport or brp or ilr paper etc whatever paper she has to legally reside in the UK.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Kriff: 8:59pm On Sep 01, 2021
Thank you for your response. Actually the 1M is for each person. There is about 5.5M in total in my dad's account as savings. I would add my sister's documents, but the same evidence of sponsor is not asked for in my dad's checklist, so I figured out that it was because I clicked that a sponsor (my father) would be handling travelling cost of my mum that made them ask for those documents.

Also, my father should write a sponsorship letter to be added to my mum's application right?

Thank you.
