A girl once tried that with me. I saw her at my work place, talked to her and asked for her number. She gave it to me willingly, under no duress. I sent this girl a message on WhatsApp, she didn't respond. I sent a second message days later, she responded after about 3 days with just a word; "Hi". I ignored her. I called her about a week later. I took about 3 minutes introducing myself. When she recollected, she began to speak like someone who is being forced to talk. As someone that doesn't have time for childishness, I jejely ended the call, deleted her number and my chat with her on WhatsApp.

About 2 months later, she sent me a message on WhatsApp that her mum was sick and would really appreciate if I can assist her with anything. She even took a picture of herself with her sick mum and sent to me. I read the message and just shook my head at the guts of some people. I had to block her.


An advise to Nigerian ladies: If you don't intend to talk to a guy, no need giving him your number. You can't give a guy your number and when he calls or send a message, you act as if he is a burden to you. Drop the mindset that every guy asking for your number wants sex or relationship. Some may end of being just friends and you never call tell when both of you may need each other!

OP, it is clear the 3k you gave her was far below her expectation. Count your loss and move. Next time, stay clear from pretty, entitled, starving girls.
