Good evening my people ,please I need help any lawyer in the house I need your inputs on what to do.

There is one of my property I bought with my late mom name which I also want to include as my proof of fund. I hope the VO won’t raise eye to this?, though we bear same surname. Or there any affidavit I can do to support this?

Hello everyone, I recently applied to a pgd program at Seneca college which I was told to pay the entire first term school fees for May 2022. I would like to find out if there are other colleges that who accept a tuition deposit which won't be more than 3k cad and then balance up the tuition fee if the visa has been approved .

Uni Manitoba for instance for PGC requires 2k CAD deposit which they state is non refundable but a mail to thier student services officer clarified it is refunded along with any other fees in cases of visa refusal which u can evidence(am sure they would prove difficult if refusal reasons is due to misrepresentation or other reasons due to applicant fault). Only exception to this refund as clarified by d officer is application fee so as most have advised in d past ,reach out to ur school to clarify refund policy

Honestly they need to do adjustment to that, keep us updated

For now, they are doing don't come till a month to your school start date. So if I get authentic news from CIC or IRCC that students can come in anytime so long as they have a valid visa, they will see me in Canada the next day grin grin grin.

I am also experiencing same thing o...IOM abuja next available date is 7th march ,but by the time you want to pick a time slot,it will tell you no available slot for this day...I don't know what's going on...I presume they fill it up internally

Nickoko:
Hello great people,

Please are there other ways to booking and getting medical done outside online booking.
It is strange to notice that Q-life and IOM does not available from now to August 2022 on their website. I think there is something not so right or am I the one doing the wrong thing?

Good Afternoon house,
I need an advice on what to tell my cousin that is 21 years, wrote her Waec at 18 and wish to study nursing at Canada.
1. What are the chances of her getting undergraduate admission in Canada, any university suggestions
2. What are the likely requirements she needs to provide to secure an admission.

Evening All

Would like to clarify the attached clipped from cic webpage which clearly stat3s kids can school on top of parents study permit i.e kids with Visitors visa can school on thier parents permit. there has been different opinions on this varying from u need study visa for kids as someone confirmed from his/her school immigration advisor to the other end of the spectrum i.e its not required as even confirmed my entry point immigration officer

So my question is for those who currently have thier study permit and kids are with them on Visitors visa

1. Did u have to notify the authorities at any point or ur kids continued schooling on Visitors visa

2. Usually there is a 6 month limit on Visitors visa. i guess most would renew kids vistor visa inside canada and if so,was there any issues raised by immigration or if this was simply converted to study permit at renewal point?

3.for those who may have finished thier studies and now in wirk permit phase of thier stay, did the kids schooling on study permit bring up any issue

It would be great to hear experiences of those who have gone through this as non Visitors visa for secondary application put in later in raking forever to process

Note:Education up to 18 years or so is mandated by canadian law hence illegal for kids to not be in school so in a way, that can be argued to override if the kids are on study permit or not

Hoping for the house guidance

Hi everyone, happy Sunday.
For Nova Scotia community College (NSCC), do I have to pay full tuition ahead or half? I saw something like a confirmation fee of $1000, is that what I have to pay before I can apply for a visa?

Also, what are the chances of a 20 year old with a B.Sc in a health related course getting approved for Practical nursing Diploma from a 2 year college?

Would really appreciate responses to my questions. May God bless us all.

NSCC non refundable $1000 CAD is for your tuition deposit to secure your seat after you’ve been admitted, so it left for you to decide if you want to pay your first semester or first year tuition fee. They are going to minus this 1000 CAD from any of this fees.

To your 2nd question, the gurus will have an answer to that. Peace

You're overqualified for a diploma. Why lower your visa approval chances?

The course I did in my B.Sc is not a professional course in the health care field and I want a professional course which is why I’m switching to nursing. I have read here that as long as you can explain the switch, it shouldn’t be a problem. Also, it’s not a switch that is completely off base. It’s from Human Anatomy to Nursing.

Thanks for your response sir

When filling an application form for school and they ask “Is English your first language?” Please what is the correct answer to that in order to not make a mistake. When I clicked the ? Button to read more info. They said “First language is the primary language you learned from birth”

AceeAy:

Good evening Nairalanders, I had to share my testimony to encourage others. I  Submitted my Application on the 24th May, 2021(First Time Applicant),  did biometric on the 4th of June, upfront Medical on the 19th of September and PPR  for a family of 5 arrived on the 6th of November.
I applied for study permit and 2yrs visiting visa for my spouse and kids. Although I applied before joiningÑL I learnt so much from here and corrected my mistakes from what I read. My application was with a Conditional letter of acceptance and without tution fee deposit. I only paid the 90CAD Application required by my school. ÑO IELTS  and we also used normal Statement of Accounts. I saw several ghost updates but I thank God who made it possible.

Submitted the underlisted forms as required:

1. Application for study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM1294)
2. Family Information (IMM 5257) - I declared only my immediate siblings and parents.
3. Application for Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada (IMM 5257) . I
4. First Degree Certificate
5. First Degree Transcript
6.Affidavit of Declaration of Income
7. 6 Months Bank Statement of my spouse and I. About #20M Fhrom my spouse account and #4.8M in my own account. These were personal savings accounts and not Salary accounts.
8. Pension Statement of Account
9. 6 Months Payslip for both of us
10. Letter of Sponsorship and support signed by my husband.
11. Statement of Purpose
12. Police Character Certificate
13. Curriculum Vitae
14.  Letter of Appointment from Current Employer.
15. Letter of Introduction from Current Employer (Reference Letter)
16. Birth Certificate (for the 5 of us)
17. Copy of Staff Identity Card
18. Pictures of the Family..

I wrote my SOP Myself and realised that my application was not perfect when compared to the profiles that I saw on nairaland but I want to thank God who proved that there is nothing impossible with him. Thank you Nairalanders your testimonies were encouraging.

Good evening everyone. Please I've been going through recent comments here about denials and the rest. And the most common cause I usually see here are LUMP SUM deposit. I would be applying for my study permit come Jan so I would like to know how to tackle the lump sum deposit issues. Like what amount can be considered as a lump sum in ones account? And what's the remedy to explain it in ones SOP if there's indeed a lump sum? Like what's the most commonest or MOST acceptable reason to explain your lump deposit to the VO? If there's a cash flow of let's say 100k to 400k monthly in ones account then 3 months to application there's about 3m in the same account. Can that be considered a lump sum? I'm thinking of submitting my Dom account statement of account along side my naira account. But my Dom account has been idol for months. How do you think I can explain the idolness of the Dom account? Or i shouldnt submit it?

When is your program starting? The best option is to enroll in the pre-nursing course to avoid stories that touches the heart at POE. And change your registered courses immediately you land. This is easy in as much as you;re within the registration timing period.

All the best
