Good morning bro, how have you been?
Please do you have an idea if a Nigerian can buy land to build house in Abidjan because according to google results, the available Option is Max 90years lease for buying land

It depends... But google is also right.

U can still buy land but it depends on so many things i cant say for now.

Most people have " leased land"

Carry money o. Don't go there with less than 400k.
You can enter motor from mile2,Lagos 50k naira
40k to ghana, from ghana to Abidjan is 10k.

Go to the district called Yopongon, life is very cheap there compare to other districts.
You can rent a studio room 200k cfa which is 160k naira.

You can as well find Nigerian church, reason with the pastor to that you would like to stay there for 2wks before you find your footings.

Food is cheaper there than in Nigeria. With 500cfa(400naira), you will eat rice with chicken there.

But Yopongon got fine ladies and they love Nigerians guys, they don't even need your money.Abeg run from them o.

Na my guy wey don go there tell me

I was at Sicoji, Yopougon. Guy if u don't have any steady means of income, u don't have anything to do there.
The only business for most Nigerians is Okirika (2nd hand clothes).
How can u start up business when u can't hear nor speak French?
Do u know how much one can use to rent a shop?
Do u know that some shops are worth over 3 to 10 million just to acquire via cushion?
Everything is paid on monthly basis.
A lot of our people are homeless there.
Many are sleeping in the market places, inside churches with strict conditions, outside etc.
Stop giving people rubbish hopes if you don't know what u are telling them

their girls are fucckîng money conscious. When they were loving men for free was when their formal president was paying all their citizens monthly salary without working, right now the country is hard. If they don't see money, no fuçvk for u. Force them and u will spend over 30 years for rape charges.
There are over 1 thousand of our people in Ivorian prison opposite Industrial zone, Yopougon.
If you are coming here because of free women, u go dey disappointed.
Although they like fair guys generally. Only few are knacking girls for free once you have a house and if they stop seeing something like free food and tips, they will even follow ur next door neighbors

yes.
The number one problem is language. Even if u have police case with them, they will side their people once u are an English speaking foreigner.
Did you hear about that Yoruba woman that was accused wrongly that later died?
Uncountable Nigerians are dying and suffering in Ivorian prisons.

African countries see Nigeria as a yardstick for measurement. Even in their country, Lebanese, Indians and Nigerians are living larger.
Lebanese, Indians and Chinese are the ones Controlling their manufacturing companies.
Nigerians, mostly Igbos are into spare parts and electronics.
As for 2nd hand wares(shoes, bags and clothes) na Igbo control businesses

I left 2 months ago. I felt pity for our people. There are a lot of Nigerians that aren't doing well and they have stayed there for over 10-20 years and even more. The shame of coming back is their problems.
There are Yorubas mostly Osun people that don't even know where they are from.
They can't just come back because of the same issues.
U will see Nigerians that only eat whenever they accompany okirika sellers to the market.
I saw some Igbo brothers that have stayed over 15yrs to 20yrs and they said they no longer have business with Nigeria because of shame and no hope of making it there. It's just to eat, smoke and probably fu,vck

Is that Bad? You're the only person that's saying negative thing about the place among other people i know that have gone there.
The high cost of house rent there is what baffles me,is it that Nigerians are not allowed to build houses there?

I just got a teaching job in one of the 9ja schools of 70k cfa thats why I am contemplating to relocate and i would also like to learn French and do poultry biz there in future

u can't pay house rent and feed with 70k CFAs. Those successful ones selling okirika will be better than u.
Our brothers may not be able to open up to u in other not to know their predicaments.
