Good morning all, I bought a used Tecno spark 5, changed the complete screen and it started flickering after some days, I had to go back to the engineer that fixed the screen for me, and he said it's from the display IC.

Please, I really need help asap, what caused the screen flickering?, I have checked online, done the things I am supposed to do but the screen is still flickering.

I bought this phone not up to 2 months, tho is UK used as they call it, in a reliable store @ Ikeja.

The phone is neat came with original cable & charger, the camera is nice in fact the phone is working fine except the radio that doesn't pick any channels and data connection that failed most times even if i have data on the Sim to connect to internet is hell even for WhatsApp messages to be send or receive it will take forever and the same Sim will call out & receive calls normal, at first i thought is my Sim so i got 4g Sim yet still the same. I try all networking both 4g/3g with the same results. but the WiFi connection is fine right now am using hotspot from my Tab & is working fine.
However, i don't want to be carrying Tab everywhere in the name of network/hotspot.

Please is there anything i can do or setup on the phone that will make this phone data connection work fine?

My Redmi K20 pro fell into water at the beach about 2 weeks ago. I put it in rice for about a week but it didn't come on. I noticed when I plug a charger to it, it shows the Redmi name and then a phone marked X pops up which I assumed to mean it's not charging. Took it to an engineer in computer village Ikeja where he opened it and true enough, there was some damage presumably from the salt water (it was whitish on the charging stuff) as the engineer said. He changed the presumed problem telling me that when the phone comes on he would check the screen n other things. But the phone didn't come on. Even the Redmi logo that used to show before the battery marked X didn't come on. The engineer said the screen is bad. That while the phone is plugged, it gets a bit warm indicating that it's charging but since the screen is bad, we can't see it. He suggested we go somewhere to change the screen but I would pay for the screen to be purchased regardless of if it worked or not...

Now I just want to know

1: Is there any one here that has parts for Xiaomi Redmi K20 pro for sale?

2: Any reliable engineer that can fix the phone preferably in Lagos

3: Any trusted place where I can get the phone fixed.

Down here in Alaba, you only pay when the screen works... not regardless of if it works or not...
