I think Africans countries talk too much without action. If our governments can reciprocate this travel ban on foreign nationals (British and Americans), then they’ll be weary of making draconian rules like this .but no we will only be making noise on blogs

I think one of the reasons why we're not moving forward as a country, is just because we failed to support and love ourselves.
Over years, I have consistently observing lifestyles of minority communities in UK like Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladesh & few Chinese just to mention few. Most of these communities will bring their brothers from their various countries staying with them assisting them in selling their petty business on high streets.
I visited one of my Pakistani course mates during my undergraduate programs, to my astonished they were visually[b] 6 people living in a single bedroom flat with happiness and show of love. [/b]An average Nigerians in UK have competitive mindsets, they always see friends and families as competitors. Let love reigns. Help if you can and say No if you can't.
Nature will always lifts those who are willing to give arms to fellow beings. To those bad wagons you'll all soon be Baba & iya London!

Travel bans are political, not medical.
Nigeria has basically downgraded itself in the comity of nations and has not got the clout it should have and is not taken seriously.

Look what happened with India and the delta variant earlier this year where the govt dragged its feet concerning putting India on the red list for days even while all the media were shouting to high heavens because it was careful about offending India.

If Nigeria bans travellers from the UK, nobody will notice or care, except Nigerians living in the UK.

Our governments that would rather use 38,000,000,000 to ‘renovate’ National Assembly complex feather than invest in science and medical research.
Our Governments that had to depend on COVAX or Gates foundation to dash us life-saving vaccines.
Even AFTER the vaccines have been dashed to us for free, Nigerian Government wasted 1,000,000 doses because NPHCDA could not store, distribute and use the donated vaccines.

I will not even talk about the fake CoViD test results and the fake CoViD vaccination certificates that ‘our’ people use to travel.

Especially for roundabout. Google map told me 25 minutes to my destination, after walking round for about 2hrs few days ago, na ask I ask people take reach where I dey go. Not that the map is wrong, na to follow am hard especially for trekking.

Anyone that has an option of not taking the vaccine in Nigeria should do so. How do you explain that people are being vaccinated with an expired drug? This is not hear say and that is the reason batch numbers of those vaccinated in Nigeria are not showing in my opinion.

Most of these donors donate what is almost expired and before we get it, they are already expired. People have their reservations let alone an expired vaccine.

Finally!!

However, there's one thing I have on my mind that has been given me concern.
During covid vaccination I dropped my father's name as my last name however, my passport, health certificate and everything carries my maiden name.
I did the vaccination before any of the others avd it just happened that I dropped my new name subsciously lol.
But thinking about it now, it's scary.
Is there any implications to this? Or is it possible to change the name I have on the covid card??
