I have a lady friend who I have know for a while and is a really decent lady.

A part of me feels it is better to wait for a while and try and get a younger "god fearing" lady.

To the men, what would you advise ?

I am kinda traditional and feel like a man should avoid marrying a lady in her 30s and also have a gap of atleast 7 years with the wife but I think I love her, I have been thinking about her lately.

Kai, what will one not read on the internet. @OP,what's wrong with a 32year old who is conservative and decent I am sure you are one of the they slept around in their 20s kind of people.

Meanwhile, a lot of factors could have kept a lady from getting married in their 20s just like the men.

Well, life is about choices like I say. It's your choice at the end of the day.

Also, the factors that kept his friend unmarried in her twenties is non of Op's business. He should go for what he wants!

The kind of narrative and stereotype you guys try to push on the internet esp NL about unmarried ladies in their 30s is sickening and isn't a true representation as each person's life, stories, choices and decisions is unique. That's the point I am trying to make.

Secondly, the idea that she will age faster than you is ludicrous and you being delusional, because YOU ARe 4-YEARS OLDER THAN HER.

Finally, if we were to put your photos side by side, most likely we can tell who's older: YOU. I wouldn't be surprised if you're already spotting some greys.

I get y our point, like I said, she has most things I desire in a woman except she is older than I would want my wife to be.
I am trying to figure out if I should take the risk, let her go and expect to find another lady that has the same qualities but is younger.

mmmnnn YOu have made very good points.
I haven't dated her, I just kept her as friend, she is someone close to home so I can't date her and not marry her.
So I just kept her as a friend, over the years.
I haven't met many people who actually tick my boxes like she does, just few.
